Chapter 2181 - Ch: 21-33 (cont.)(goodish)

Chapter 21: The Scumbag's Trap

Morning sunlight streamed through the classroom window, falling upon Irene White. She wore a cream-colored knit sweater, her long hair draped gently over her shoulders. With her fair skin, beautiful features, and gentle temperament, she always had a friendly smile on her face—the very image of the "kind big sister" the students often spoke of.

As the school's psychological counselor, Irene's daily work consisted of listening to the students' troubles and using her gentleness to soothe their anxieties.

The Telepathy Ability hidden deep within her heart had never been revealed to anyone. Even when she occasionally sensed the thoughts of others, she would deliberately ignore them, wanting only to live a quiet life as an ordinary person.

During lunch break, Irene took her coffee cup and walked out of the faculty office, preparing for a walk on campus. Just as she reached the sycamore tree by the playground, a tall figure suddenly rose from a nearby bench and accidentally bumped into her, spilling coffee all over himself.

"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going!" Irene apologized hurriedly, taking out a tissue to help him wipe it off.

The moment she looked up, she froze. The man before her was tall and handsome, with features as exquisite as a sculpture. His tight-fitting casual clothes outlined a robust physique, and his gaze was gentle yet carried a hint of rogueishness, making one's heart race involuntarily.

Rorschach pretended to be in a mess as he took the tissue. A gentle smile curled at the corners of his mouth, and his voice was deep and magnetic: "It's alright. I stood up too quickly myself; instead, I've dirtied your hands. I'm the one who should apologize. My name is Rorschach, a security officer from the nearby Vought International. I just happened to be here today to handle some business."

"My name is Irene White, a psychological counselor at this school." Irene's cheeks flushed slightly as she quickly withdrew her hand, yet she felt an inexplicable fondness for this handsome man.

She instinctively used Telepathy to sense Rorschach's thoughts, but she only felt a wave of gentle kindness without a trace of malice, which made her lower her guard even further.

Rorschach chuckled inwardly. The system's Shapeshifting Ability, combined with his deliberate suppression of his aura, perfectly shielded him from Irene's mental perception. This "kind big sister" was indeed as naive and gentle as the files suggested.

"Ms. White, since it was a misunderstanding, let's leave it at that." Rorschach tossed the tissue away and sat down on the bench beside her, smooth words rolling off his tongue. "However, being able to bump into someone as beautiful and gentle as Ms. White is my honor, even if my clothes got dirty."

Irene's cheeks grew even redder at his words, and she laughed softly. "You certainly have a way with words."

In the conversation that followed, Rorschach displayed extreme gentleness and wit. He understood psychology and knew how to capture Irene's thoughts. From life to work, from interests to ideals, every word he spoke resonated deep within Irene's heart.

Irene had never met a man who understood her so well. Unknowingly, she chatted with Rorschach for the entire lunch break.

When they parted, Rorschach left his contact information, his gaze lingering with reluctance. "Irene, I really enjoyed talking with you. I hope to see you again."

"Me too." Irene nodded, watching Rorschach's retreating figure, her heart unable to calm down for a long time.

In the following days, Rorschach manufactured countless "coincidences." He would "happen" to pass by the school gate on a rainy day to hold an umbrella for Irene; "happen" to meet her at the supermarket in the evening to help her carry groceries; and "happen" to take a walk in the residential garden at night to keep her company.

With every contact, Rorschach was gentle, considerate, and meticulous, wrapping Irene in sweet words and causing her to gradually lower all her defenses.

Irene's Telepathy never sensed any malice from Rorschach; she simply thought she had met her fated lover.

On the fifth day, Rorschach formally invited Irene on a date. An upscale restaurant, romantic flowers, gentle music—Rorschach used every romantic tactic to the extreme.

At the table, he held Irene's hand, his gaze deep with affection. "Irene, from the first time I saw you, I knew you were the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I've seen too many hypocritical people; only you are so gentle, kind, and pure that I couldn't help but want to get closer."

Irene's eyes reddened slightly, moved by this profound affection. She nodded and accepted Rorschach's confession.

After the date, Rorschach naturally followed Irene back to her home. In the cozy little apartment, the atmosphere was ambiguous. Rorschach leaned down and kissed Irene's lips, gentle yet overbearing.

After a night of passion, the moment they made intimate contact, the cold notification sound of the system rang in Rorschach's mind:

[Detected intimate contact with a Telepathysuperpowered individual. Successfully extracted ability Telepathy 1., 10 points.]

[Host: Rorschach]

[Abilities: Super Speed 1.1, Invisibility 1., Super Defense 2., Animal Communication 1.0, Super Strength 1.1, Energy Manipulation 1.4, Super Hearing 1.0, Shapeshifting 1.0, Super Regeneration 1.3, Telepathy 1.0]

[Total Points: 12]

Rorschach was ecstatic; the shortcoming in his mental aspect was finally filled! He could clearly sense the love and dependence in Irene's heart, as well as the thoughts of everyone within a radius of several kilometers. This feeling of being in control of everything gave him immense satisfaction.

In just one week, he had used a scumbag's tactics to easily win over this kind big sister and successfully obtain the Telepathy Ability.

The next morning, Rorschach looked at the sleeping Irene beside him, his eyes devoid of any lingering affection. He got up, dressed, left a note that said "Goodbye," and quietly departed from the apartment.

For him, in this uncertain Multiverse, there could never be any attachments.

Walking out of the apartment, Rorschach stretched, feeling the brand-new Telepathy Ability in his mind. A bloodthirsty smile curled at the corners of his mouth. It was time to go back; for Homelander and Vought, he was just about ready.

Chapter 22: Vought Crisis

Inside the penthouse office of the Vought Internationalheadquarters, the atmosphere was oppressive to the extreme.

Homelander sat on a leather sofa, arms crossed over his chest. His blue eyes were bloodshot, his expression terrifyingly grim, and he radiated a suffocating sense of pressure.

Standing behind the desk, Madelyn watched Homelandercautiously. Wearing a professional smile and keeping her tone as gentle as possible, she said, "Homelander, the recent public relations incident has been brought under control. Starlight was very cooperative, so there's no need to be so angry. Vought International will always be your strongest supporter; no one can shake the position of The Seven."

"Supporter?" Homelander sneered, his voice bone-chillingly cold. "Madelyn, do you think I'm still a three-year-old? You've been colluding with Butcher and his lot behind my back, secretly investigating me and restricting my movements, and now you talk to me about being a supporter? You think I'll believe that?"

Ever since Rorschach had left Butcher's group, Vought International's leverage over Homelander had grown increasingly weak. Homelander had also sensed the company's distrust, causing the relationship between the two parties to plummet to freezing point.

Every night, Homelander lay in bed, too restless to sleep. The schemes of the company's top brass and his own uncontrollable rage echoed repeatedly in his mind.

He was the world's most powerful superhero, a god in the hearts of the people, yet he was being led by the nose by this group of mortals at Vought. This feeling filled him with both immense fury and immense fear.

He feared losing everything, feared his origins being exposed, and feared no longer being worshipped by the masses.

Madelyn maintained her gentle tone and quickly explained, "Homelander, you've misunderstood. Those were all misunderstandings! The company never intended to restrain you. We just want you to better maintain your image. After all, you are Vought's brand name, the idol of the whole world!"

"Brand name? Idol?" Homelander stood up abruptly, his tall frame carrying an aura of world-ending destruction as he walked toward Madelyn step by step. "In your eyes, I'm just a money-making tool! An obedient puppet! I've had enough! Enough of your hypocrisy, enough of your control!"

Frightened by Homelander's sudden outburst, Madelynretreated repeatedly until her back hit the desk, leaving her with nowhere to run. Her voice trembled as she tried to continue soothing him, "Homelander, calm down. You can't do this, we are one..."

"One?" A flash of madness crossed Homelander's eyes as his emotions completely crumbled. Years of suppression and rage erupted in that single moment. "From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by anyone!"

As the words fell, Homelander's eyes instantly lit up with blinding red laser light, and the high-temperature beams shot directly at Madelyn.

Madelyn's pupils shrank, but she didn't have time to react. The lasers instantly pierced through her body, and blood splattered everywhere. This Vought executive, who had always used Homelander's special fixations to control him, collapsed into a pool of blood without even letting out a scream, her breath gone.

After killing Madelyn, Homelander panted heavily, the lasers in his eyes slowly fading. He looked at the corpse on the floor with no fear, but rather a sense of liberating pleasure.

Finally, no one would dare tell him what to do, and no one would dare try to control him.

He looked down, wiped the blood splatter from his face, and with a crazed smile curling on his lips, turned and walked out of the office. The security personnel outside saw the carnage within and trembled with fear; no one dared to step forward and stop him.

The news quickly spread through the upper echelons of Vought International, and all the executives fell into a state of panic.

In the conference room, Edgar sat at the head of the table, his face as dark as water. He looked at the executives before him and said coldly, "Homelander killed Madelynand has completely lost control. Without Madelyn's leverage, he will become even more reckless and volatile. If he dared to kill Madelyn today, he will dare to kill all of us tomorrow."

"Then what do we do? Homelander is too powerful; we're no match for him!" one executive said, trembling, his face full of terror.

"We can't keep him anymore." A flash of ruthlessness appeared in Edgar's eyes. "Homelander has become Vought's greatest threat. We must find a way to deal with him, otherwise, every one of us will die at his hands."

The executives looked at each other, and they all understood that the relationship between Vought and Homelander had reached a point of no return where only one side could survive.

And all of this was clearly perceived by Rorschach through Telepathy. Sitting in his car, Rorschach's lips curled into a devious smile. Everything was proceeding according to his plan.

He had expected long ago that Homelander would eventually lose control, kill Madelyn, and completely break with Vought. And this was exactly the result he wanted.

Long before leaving Butcher's group, Rorschach had already written an anonymous letter and sent it to Homelander through secret channels. The letter was unsigned and contained only one line: Vought Internationalpossesses an ultimate weapon located in an underground laboratory in the former Soviet Union; they are about to release it to deal with you for being disobedient.

What Rorschach wanted to do was drive a wedge between them openly, letting Homelander and Vought slaughter each other while he reaped the rewards.

Now, the first step was complete. Madelyn was dead, and Homelander and Vought were completely irreconcilable. Next, it was just a matter of waiting for the show to begin.

Chapter 23: Anonymous Letter and Panic

The panic within Vought International continued to ferment.

After Homelander killed Madelyn, he completely let himself go. He no longer followed any of the company's arrangements, appearing in various corners of the city as he pleased. If even the slightest thing went against his wishes, he would fly into a rage, his Laser Eyes wantonly destroying roadside buildings, leaving the public too terrified to speak out despite their anger.

The members of The Seven were even more terrified. Starlight watched Homelander's madness with a heart full of fear and loathing, while Queen Maeve remained silent, her eyes filled with complex emotions. She knew that Homelander had completely lost his mind.

Homelander lived in his penthouse, watching reports about himself on TV every day, enjoying the public's adoration and fear, yet remaining constantly vigilant against Vought International's schemes. He still found it difficult to sleep, his mind filled with not only anger but also a trace of inexplicable panic.

He didn't know what trump cards Vought International still held, nor did he know what methods those mortals would use to deal with him.

This evening, Homelander was drinking in his apartment when the doorbell suddenly rang. He frowned and used his Super Hearing to listen; there was no one outside, only an envelope left at the door.

He stood up and opened the door, picking up the envelope. There was no name or address on it, only a single line of text: To Homelander.

Homelander's heart stirred as he opened the envelope. Inside was only a single sheet of paper with a printed line: Vought International possesses an Ultimate Weaponlocated in an Underground laboratory in the former Soviet Union. They are about to release it to deal with you, the disobedient one.

Seeing these words, the wine bottle in Homelander's hand fell to the floor with a "clatter," spilling wine everywhere.

An Ultimate Weapon? An Underground laboratory in the former Soviet Union?

Homelander's face instantly became contorted, his eyes widening with fear and unease. He could sense that the words in the letter were not a lie; Vought Internationalreally did have a trump card to deal with him!

He had always thought he was invincible, the most powerful existence in the world. But now, an Ultimate Weapon that could deal with him was about to be released by Vought International!

"Damn it! Damn Vought!" Homelander roared in a violent rage, his Laser Eyes instantly firing and blowing the living room TV to pieces.

He paced frantically around the apartment, fear and anger intertwining in his heart. He didn't know what this Ultimate Weapon was or how powerful it was, but he knew that if Vought International dared to use it against him, it must have the ability to restrain him!

Why? He worked his life away for Vought International, made money for them, and maintained their image, yet they actually wanted to kill him!

The more Homelander thought about it, the angrier and more panicked he became. He was no longer that fearless god, but a pathetic wretch being schemed against, facing an imminent death threat.

He suddenly burst out of the apartment and flew high into the sky, looking down at the Vought Internationalheadquarters building with killing intent flickering in his eyes. He wanted to destroy the building immediately and kill all the executives, but he didn't dare. He was afraid that if he pushed Vought International too far, they would release that Ultimate Weapon directly.

For a moment, the invincible Homelander fell into an unprecedented state of panic.

And all of this was witnessed by Rorschach.

Rorschach had already returned to the city, lurking on a building near Vought International. Through Telepathy, he clearly perceived the changes in Homelander's emotions. Feeling the fear and panic in Homelander's heart, Rorschach couldn't help but laugh.

This was exactly the effect he wanted.

There was no need to act personally; a single anonymous letter was enough to plunge the arrogant Homelander into panic and further intensify his conflict with Vought International.

The black-bellied Rorschach was best at killing with a borrowed knife and sowing discord to maximize his own interests.

He looked at the enraged and panicked Homelander in the sky, sneering in his heart. Homelander, you think you're invincible? You think you can control everything? Ridiculous. Who would have thought that the true controller was never you?

Next, Vought International would do everything in its power to release the Ultimate Weapon, while Homelanderwould do everything to stop them. The slaughter between the two sides was about to begin.

As for Rorschach, he only needed to wait patiently for the best opportunity, for new Superpowered Individuals to appear, and then plunder their abilities to continuously grow stronger.

His Points had reached 12, and with the Telepathy Abilityin hand, as long as he obtained even more powerful abilities next, he would have the strength to fight even Homelander.

To him, power was like capital. He couldn't rush in the early stages; accumulating resources and biding his time was the right path.

Rorschach turned and disappeared into the night, his Invisibility Ability activated as he left the area silently. He would continue to lurk, waiting for the next prey to appear, waiting for this grand drama to reach its climax.

Chapter 24: Stormfront

The conflict between Homelander and Vought International was intensifying, and the entire city was shrouded in a tense atmosphere. Vought's top brass were overwhelmed, dealing with Homelander's outbursts while secretly preparing a plan to release their Ultimate Weapon, all while trying to stabilize public opinion and avoid mass panic.

Just then, a mysterious woman appeared in Vought International's sights.

Her name was Stormfront. Young, beautiful, and fiery-tempered, she possessed formidable powers, including Lightning Manipulation, Super Strength, and Super Speed. Her appearance caused a massive sensation. Seeing her power, Vought's top brass had a calculating look in their eyes and made an immediate decision.

That day, Vought International held a grand press conference, broadcast live globally.

At the conference, following Madelyn's death, Vought's new spokesperson stood on stage and announced with a beaming smile: "Friends of the media, citizens, today we introduce the newest member of The Seven—Stormfront! She is one of the most powerful superheroes and will work alongside Homelander to protect the world and peace!"

As the words fell, Stormfront walked out from backstage in a cool combat suit, standing beside Homelander. With a hot figure and seductive eyes, she waved at the cameras, instantly capturing everyone's attention.

Standing beside Stormfront, Homelander instinctively sized her up with his Super Vision, his heart stirring slightly. This woman was not simple.

Her aura, her gaze, and the presence she exuded were not those of an ordinary young superhero. Especially the way she looked at him—with a hint of admiration and an inexplicable thought—made a trace of vigilance rise within Homelander.

After the press conference, Homelander stopped Stormfront, his tone cold: "Who exactly are you? Why did Vought let you join The Seven?"

Stormfront raised an eyebrow, a smile curling on her lips: "Homelander, who I am isn't important. What matters is that I can help you. Those useless people at Vought can't control you, but I can fight by your side. This world should be controlled by the strong."

Homelander stared at her for a long time without speaking. He could feel that Stormfront bore him no ill will, even showing a hint of affection, yet the vigilance in his heart didn't diminish at all. He felt that this woman was hiding a massive secret.

And all of this was seen clearly by Rorschach, who was hiding in the shadows.

Using his Shapeshifting Ability, Rorschach lurked in a corner of the press conference venue. With his Telepathy Ability fully active, he clearly perceived Stormfront's thoughts as well as Homelander's vigilance.

Stormfront? She's finally here.

Rorschach sneered inwardly. He had long known of Stormfront's existence and her background. This woman wasn't some young superhero at all; she was an old monster who had lived for nearly a hundred years, one of the high-level insiders behind Vought International, a participant in the Super Soldier Program back then, and a teammate of Soldier Boy!

The first anonymous letter had already sent Homelanderinto a panic. Now, it was time to deliver the second one, to completely expose Stormfront's background and set Homelander and Stormfront against each other!

Rorschach turned and left the press conference, finding a discreet print shop to write another anonymous letter. The letter clearly stated:

Stormfront, born in 1919, participated in the Super Soldier Program during World War II. She possesses multiple superpowers, is one of the high-level insiders behind Vought International, and is a teammate of the Ultimate Weapon you are about to face.

This letter was more detailed and more lethal than the previous one.

Through secret channels, Rorschach sent this anonymous letter to Homelander's apartment once again.

Having done all this, Rorschach leaned against a wall, a smile playing on his lips.

"Homelander, Stormfront, Vought International... your show has only just begun."

His current abilities were enough to handle most dangers, and he had 12 points. If he could take Stormfront's abilities, his strength would see a massive leap.

Stormfront's multiple abilities were exactly what he needed. Super Strength and Super Speed could be fused and upgraded; Lightning Manipulation, Immortality, and Super Regeneration were all top-tier abilities. Once he had them, he could face Homelander head-on without fearing Vought International's various trump cards.

Rorschach closed his eyes, his Telepathy Ability spreading out to monitor the movements of Homelander and Stormfront at all times. He was waiting—waiting for the moment Homelander saw the anonymous letter, the moment Homelander and Stormfront turned against each other.

The preparations for the hunt were complete. Stormfront was his next prey.

Chapter 25: Revelation and Vigilance

In Homelander's apartment, the atmosphere remained oppressive.

He looked at the city outside the window, his heart still shrouded in the fear brought by that anonymous letter. The Soviet Union's ultimate weapon was like a giant boulder, weighing him down until he could barely breathe.

Just then, the doorbell rang again.

Homelander's heart tightened. He reached the door in an instant and opened it; another unsigned envelope lay at the entrance.

His heart rate accelerated instantly, accompanied by a bad premonition. Tearing open the envelope and seeing the contents, Homelander's face turned ashen, and his entire body began to tremble.

Stormfront, born in 1919? Lived for nearly a century?

A participant in the World War II Super Soldier Program?

Multiple superpowers?

A high-level executive behind the scenes at Vought?

A teammate of the ultimate weapon, Soldier Boy?

Every sentence was like a sharp knife, piercing into Homelander's heart.

He spun around abruptly, looking toward The Seven's Base, his eyes filled with disbelief and rage.

That Stormfront, who had just joined The Seven, acted friendly toward him, and looked young and beautiful, was actually a century-old monster! She was actually one of Vought International's people! She was actually a teammate of that ultimate weapon, Soldier Boy, who terrified him!

No wonder he felt Stormfront was not simple; no wonder her presence was so powerful—it was all a disguise!

Vought International had actually placed such a time bomb by his side! Did they want Stormfront to monitor him? Control him? Or did they want Stormfront and Soldier Boyto join forces and deal with him?

In a fit of rage, Homelander punched the wall, instantly smashing a large crater into the solid surface. He finally understood how deep Vought International's schemes ran!

This newly appeared teammate was actually an informant planted by the enemy!

After the anger passed, a strong sense of unease rose in Homelander's heart. He was no longer just wary of Stormfront; only endless suspicion and defensiveness remained, and he intended to make her disappear.

Stormfront's approach was definitely not for fighting side-by-side, but for a much larger conspiracy. She and Soldier Boy were both weapons used by Vought International to deal with him!

No, he couldn't just sit and wait for death!

A flash of ruthlessness crossed Homelander's eyes. He had to uncover the truth, understand what Stormfront was really after, and find out exactly how powerful Soldier Boywas. He had to strike first and eliminate one enemy so he wouldn't have to face multiple foes at once in the future!

He immediately mobilized all his resources to secretly investigate Stormfront's identity. Rorschach's anonymous letter had provided enough clues, making the investigation effortless.

Soon, Homelander found the truth.

An old newspaper contained a report on her; the person in the photo looked exactly as she did now. Stormfront's identity was indeed exactly as the anonymous letter described! She really was born in 1919, really had participated in the Super Soldier Program, really was Soldier Boy's teammate, and really was a high-level executive behind the scenes at Vought!

And the ultimate weapon mentioned in the first anonymous letter, Soldier Boy, was precisely the core of that Super Soldier Program—a super soldier even more brutal and out of control than Homelander!

With the truth revealed, the last shred of hope in Homelander's heart vanished completely.

Stormfront was his enemy! Vought International wanted to use Stormfront and Soldier Boy to put him to death!

"Stormfront..." Homelander ground out the name through gritted teeth, cold killing intent flashing in his eyes.

He had made his decision: he would find an opportunity to intercept Stormfront and confront her! If she dared to lie or hide anything, he would strike immediately and kill her!

And all of this was clearly sensed by Rorschach, who was lurking in the distance.

Rorschach sat on the rooftop of a tall building, drinking a soda with a pleasant smile on his face. His Telepathy Ability allowed him to sense Homelander's emotions at any time; he knew Homelander had completely believed the contents of the anonymous letter and had already developed a murderous intent toward Stormfront.

Everything was proceeding according to his plan.

Homelander would move against Stormfront. Both were top-tier superhumans; after a fight, one would surely be injured. He, on the other hand, only needed to hide in the shadows and reap the rewards.

Once they were exhausted, he would strike, easily hunting the injured Stormfront and plundering all her abilities.

This tactic of the mantis stalking the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind, was played to perfection.

Rorschach stood up and stretched, his robust physique exceptionally dazzling in the sunlight. He activated his Shapeshifting Ability and followed in Stormfront's direction, preparing to watch the upcoming battle and wait for the optimal moment to hunt.

Stormfront's time of death had arrived.

Chapter 26: The Interception and the Escape

Stormfront received a mission from Vought International to head to the city outskirts to handle a riot involving supes.

She didn't care at all; with her strength, such a small task was easy. After completing the mission, Stormfront flew back to The Seven's base alone, moving quickly through the air via lightning and Super Speed, feeling quite pleasant.

She felt that as she slowly gained Homelander's trust, it wouldn't be long before she could control him and then, together with him, rule the entire world.

Just as she flew over an Abandoned Industrial Area, a powerful aura instantly locked onto her.

"Stormfront!"

A cold voice rang out, and Homelander, like a god of death, instantly appeared before her, blocking her path. His face was grim, his eyes cold, and his entire body radiated a world-destroying killing intent.

Stormfront was startled and stopped flying, looking at Homelander with a confused expression: "Homelander? Why are you here? What happened?"

"Stop pretending!" Homelander roared, his voice making the surrounding buildings tremble, "Your identity, your secrets—I know them all! Born in 1919, the Super Soldier Program, Soldier Boy's teammate, a high-level figure behind the scenes at Vought! What else do you have to explain?"

The smile on Stormfront's face instantly vanished, and her eyes turned cold. She knew her identity had been exposed.

She didn't panic; instead, she admitted it frankly, a confident smile curling at the corners of her mouth: "Since you know everything, I won't pretend anymore. That's right, I am the super soldier who has lived for a hundred years, Soldier Boy's teammate, and the one in control of Vought."

"Homelander, you clearly possess invincible power, yet you're controlled by those mortals at Vought and bound by public opinion. Don't you find it ridiculous?" Stormfront looked at Homelander, her tone seductive, "As long as you cooperate with me and we join forces, this world will be ours! No one can control us, no one can resist us!"

"Cooperate?" Homelander sneered, his eyes full of distrust.

Both anonymous letters had been confirmed; Stormfront had been deceiving and using him from the start. How could he possibly trust this woman again!

He was born a proud king and didn't want to be controlled by anyone or share the world with anyone!

"I won't cooperate with you!" Homelander roared and initiated the attack, throwing a punch at Stormfront. His Super Strength exploded with full force, the air itself bursting from the impact.

Stormfront was prepared. Her figure flashed as she activated Super Speed, easily dodging Homelander's attack. Simultaneously, she raised her hand, and a bolt of purple lightning instantly shot out, striking toward Homelander.

"Boom!"

The lightning hit Homelander's chest, producing a massive explosion. Homelander let out a muffled groan; his Super Defense blocked the damage, but he was still pushed back several meters.

The two instantly fell into a fierce battle.

Super Strength collided, Super Speeds competed, and lightning intertwined with Laser Eyes. The entire Abandoned Industrial Area was torn to pieces, with explosions echoing one after another.

Having lived for nearly a hundred years, Stormfront had incredibly rich combat experience and techniques far superior to Homelander's. Coupled with the enhancement of multiple abilities, Homelander was at a disadvantage from the start, suppressed by Stormfront's assault.

Lightning continuously struck Homelander, his Laser Eyeswere easily dodged by Stormfront, and her fists slammed into him repeatedly, leaving him constantly injured.

Homelander was furious but helpless. Although his strength was formidable, his combat experience was far inferior to Stormfront's, making it impossible for him to win for the moment.

"Homelander, you really are too incompetent!" Stormfront sneered, seizing an opportunity to hit Homelander's head with a powerful bolt of lightning, slamming him into the ground.

Homelander crashed into the ground, creating a crater. He tried to get up, only to find Stormfront already in front of him, her fist smashing toward his heart.

At this critical moment, his Laser Eyes fired with full force, forcing Stormfront back.

Stormfront retreated a few steps, looking at Homelanderon the ground. She also had many wounds on her body, but her Super Regeneration was rapidly repairing them. She knew it wouldn't be easy to kill Homelander quickly.

The commotion nearby was growing louder. If the fight continued, it would surely attract the public and people from Vought, making the situation difficult to control.

"I'll let you off for today!" Stormfront snorted, turning into a bolt of lightning and fleeing the scene at high speed.

Homelander watched the direction Stormfront fled. He wanted to give chase, but concerned about Vought's intense reaction if they found out, he had to give up. Returning directly to his residence, Homelander could only roar in anger, the killing intent in his eyes growing even denser.

Chapter 27: A Bountiful Harvest

After Stormfront fled the battlefield, she didn't dare to stop, flying at top speed towards her safe house hidden on the city's edge.

Her injuries were not light; although she possessed Super Regeneration, she couldn't fully recover in a short time. She hadn't expected Homelander to be so stubborn, so crazy, actually daring to attack her.

Now that her identity was exposed, she had to return to her safe house to recover and then devise a new plan.

What she didn't know was that the moment she fled, an Invisibility figure had silently followed behind her.

Rorschach had been hiding in the distance the entire time, watching the battle between Homelander and Stormfront, his heart filled with excitement.

Stormfront's power was indeed formidable; her various abilities were used with masterful skill, and even Homelander was suppressed by her. But now, Stormfront was severely injured, making it the best time to hunt her!

Rorschach activated Invisibility and Super Speed, silently tailing Stormfront without her noticing. Telepathy Abilityconstantly locked onto Stormfront's location, following her to a secluded mountain villa.

This was Stormfront's safe house.

Stormfront opened the villa door and walked in. Just as she was about to close it, a figure instantly rushed in, closing the villa door and cutting off all her escape routes.

"Who?" Stormfront was startled and turned around.

Rorschach's tall and handsome figure appeared in the villa living room, staring coldly at Stormfront: "Stormfront, old monster of a hundred years, your time of death has come."

"It's you? The security guard wanted by Vought?" Stormfront recognized Rorschach's identity, a flicker of surprise in her eyes, which then turned cold, "You actually dared to follow me, and even dared to attack me?"

Rorschach flexed his wrist, "Super Strength, Lightning Manipulation, Immortality, Speed, Regeneration. I like these abilities very much."

"Madman!" Stormfront roared in fury. Although severely injured, she still attacked resolutely, lightning instantly shooting out and striking towards Rorschach.

"Not enough!" Rorschach snorted coldly, activating Energy Manipulation to easily block the lightning. At the same time, Super Speed activated, and he instantly rushed in front of Stormfront, throwing a punch with Super Strength 1.1 bursting forth at full power.

Stormfront's expression changed. She tried to dodge, but her speed was slowed by her injuries, and Rorschach's punch landed squarely on her chest. Already wounded, she was sent flying backward, crashing into the wall and spitting out a mouthful of blood.

"You... how many abilities do you have?" Stormfront looked at Rorschach, her eyes filled with disbelief. She could feel that Rorschach had an terrifying number of abilities: Super Defense, Super Strength, Super Speed, Energy Manipulation...

This was not an ordinary supe at all!

"You don't need to know; you just need to know that you will die by my hand." Rorschach pressed closer, not giving Stormfront any chance to breathe.

Super Regeneration 1.2 made him fearless of Stormfront's attacks, Super Defense 2.1 made him invulnerable, and with the combination of multiple abilities, the severely injured Stormfront was no match for him.

Stormfront resisted frantically, unleashing all her lightning, strength, and speed, but she was still suppressed by Rorschach. Rorschach was decisive and ruthless, his every move lethal, showing no mercy.

A scumbag's tenderness is reserved only for his own woman; facing enemies, he is only cold and vicious.

After a fierce battle, Stormfront's injuries grew heavier and heavier, and her Super Regeneration couldn't keep up with the rate of injury. She looked at Rorschach, her eyes filled with unwillingness and despair.

She had lived for a hundred years, controlling everything, yet she never expected to die at the hands of a young man!

"I'm not reconciled... I've been plotting behind the scenes for so long... to rule the world..."

Stormfront whispered, her last bit of strength depleted, and she collapsed to the ground, completely lifeless.

Rorschach reached out and touched Stormfront's blood. In his mind, the system's continuous prompt sounds rang out:

[Detected blood contact, successfully extracted ability Lightning Manipulation 1.]

[Detected blood contact, successfully extracted ability Super Strength 1.]

[Detected blood contact, successfully extracted ability Super Regeneration 1.]

[Ability Fusion: Super Speed 1.1 + 1. = Super Speed 1.2]

[Ability Fusion: Energy Manipulation 1.4 + Lightning Manipulation 1. = Energy Manipulation 1.5]

[Host: Rorschach]

[Abilities: Super Speed 1.2, Invisibility 1., Super Defense 2., Animal Communication 1.0, Super Strength 1.2, Energy Manipulation 1.5, Super Hearing 1.0, Shapeshifting 1.0, Super Regeneration 1.4, Telepathy 1.0, Immortality 1.0]

[Current total points: 17]

Listening to the system prompts, Rorschach was ecstatic and couldn't help but burst into laughter.

A bountiful harvest! This was definitely a bountiful harvest!

Five abilities acquired, four abilities fused and upgraded, and points directly skyrocketed to 17!

Now, his strength had significantly improved; even against Homelander, he had a fighting chance!

Rorschach felt the new abilities within him: lightning danced at his fingertips, strength filled his entire body, regeneration rapidly operated, and Immortality kept him eternally youthful.

Now is not the time to use the current points, and the Transmigration (Transmigration) function currently has no sign of appearing, or the points are insufficient, or his own ability level has not met the standard.

So, he would first harvest all useful abilities he could, then upgrade as needed before dealing with Homelander, and only then consider other matters.

He looked down at Stormfront's corpse on the ground, without a trace of pity in his eyes, then turned and left the safe house, disappearing into the night.

The hunt was complete. Next, he would return to Vought, continue to stir up trouble, and harvest more abilities.

Chapter 28: Shapeshifting and Tenderness

After Rorschach dealt with Stormfront, he quietly returned to the city center, lurking near Vought International.

He activated his Shapeshifting Ability, changing his appearance and physique, avoiding all surveillance cameras. He moved through the city like an invisible ghost.

Now, with 17 points and powerful abilities, he was incredibly relaxed. Having resolved the major problem of Stormfront, the next step was to wait for Vought International to release Soldier Boy, allowing Homelanderand Soldier Boy to fight each other, and then he would reap the benefits.

Before that, he planned to relax and visit his girlfriends to enjoy some tender moments.

His girlfriends, Queen Maeve, Starlight, and Kimiko, were some of the few things he cared about. His scoundrel nature allowed him to pass through a field of flowers without a single petal clinging to him, yet he could make every woman feel his tenderness.

Rorschach first went to Queen Maeve's residence.

Maeve had just returned home from a mission, sitting exhaustedly on the sofa, her heart filled with worry and helplessness over Homelander. Just then, the doorbell rang.

She opened the door and saw a handsome, unfamiliar man, frowning, "Who are you?"

Rorschach smiled, instantly deactivated his Shapeshifting Ability, revealing his original appearance, and said softly, "Maeve, it's me."

"Rorschach?" A hint of surprise flashed in Maeve's eyes, and she quickly pulled him inside. "Where have you been all this time? I couldn't reach you, I was so worried."

"I went to take care of some things, and now I'm back." Rorschach reached out and hugged Maeve, feeling her tenderness. "I'm sorry, I made you worry."

Maeve leaned into Rorschach's embrace, feeling his muscular physique, and her fatigue instantly vanished. She knew Rorschach's identity was special and that he acted mysteriously, so she didn't ask much, just held him tightly.

After a night of intimacy, Rorschach used his tenderness to soothe all the fatigue and unease in Maeve's heart. His powerful masculine ability immersed Maeve in happiness.

The next day, Rorschach activated his Shapeshifting Ability again and went to Starlight's residence.

Starlight was initially wary when she saw the shapeshifted Rorschach, but when Rorschach revealed his true face, Starlight instantly broke into a sweet smile and threw herself into his arms.

"Rorschach! You're finally back!" Starlight was overjoyed. "Homelander has been getting crazier lately, I'm so scared."

"Don't be afraid, I'm here." Rorschach gently stroked Starlight's long hair, comforting her softly, "I'll protect you, no one can hurt you."

Starlight nodded, feeling completely safe. In her heart, Rorschach was a more reliable presence than Homelander, her support.

Another night of pleasant companionship, Rorschach's tenderness gave Starlight the greatest sense of security.

Afterward, Rorschach found Kimiko. When Kimiko saw Rorschach, her eyes instantly filled with joy, and she threw herself into his arms, expressing her longing through body language. Rorschach gently accompanied her, brought her favorite snacks, played with her, and they spent some warm time together.

Over the next few days, Rorschach used his Shapeshifting Ability to move between his three girlfriends, enjoying their tenderness and giving them some companionship. The scoundrel's tenderness was always just right, making every woman willing to stay by his side.

While Rorschach was enjoying the tender moments, the conflict between Vought International and Homelanderhad reached an irreconcilable point.

Stormfront had disappeared, neither alive nor dead, and Vought's top brass directed all their suspicions towards Homelander.

Chapter 29: The Scapegoat and the Choice

In the Vought International headquarters conference room, the atmosphere was extremely heavy.

Edgar sat at the head of the table, looking at the executives before him, his face cold: "Stormfront has been missing for seven days, and all clues point to Homelander. He must give us an explanation!"

An executive quickly nodded: "That's right! It must be Homelander! The previous investigation showed that the two of them had a big fight in the suburbs. Stormfront's disappearance is definitely related to Homelander!"

"Homelander is getting more and more out of control. Now he even dares to kill a member of The Seven. If we keep him around, all of us might die too!"

The executives discussed animatedly, all unanimously pinning the blame for Stormfront's disappearance firmly on Homelander.

Soon, Vought's senior management sent someone to contact Homelander and question him directly about Stormfront's whereabouts.

Homelander, upon being questioned, became furious and directly denied it: "Stormfront's disappearance has nothing to do with me! I just fought her, she was injured and ran off. I have no idea where she went!"

"Homelander, even now, you're still quibbling!" Vought's representative said coldly. "Besides you, no one has the ability to make Stormfront disappear without a trace! Mr. Edgar said you must bear the consequences, otherwise, Vought International will no longer tolerate you!"

"Bear the consequences? What consequences do you want me to bear?" Homelander laughed in extreme anger, his Laser Eyes instantly lighting up. "I'm telling you, I didn't kill Stormfront, don't even think about pinning this on me!"

"Whether you killed her or not, it no longer matters," the representative said coldly. "Now, everyone believes you did it. If it wasn't you, it is you now."

After speaking, the representative turned and left, leaving Homelander to roar in fury, yet helpless.

It seemed he was destined to be the scapegoat.

Just then, all Vought International executives received an anonymous letter in their inboxes.

The letter clearly stated: Homelander already knows Stormfront's full identity, knows about the Super Soldier program, knows about the existence of Soldier Boy, and he already knows all of Vought's past secrets.

Seeing this anonymous letter, Edgar and all the executives instantly turned pale.

Their worst fears had come true.

Homelander knows about Soldier Boy's existence, knows about Vought International's ultimate weapon. He will surely try every means to stop it, and he will act preemptively!

For a moment, the conference room fell into a dead silence.

After a long while, Edgar slowly spoke, his voice carrying a hint of helplessness and ruthlessness: "At this point, we have no retreat. Homelander knows all the secrets and is completely out of control. He is more dangerous than we imagined."

"Although Soldier Boy is brutal, disregards laws, tramples on moral bottom lines, and has no bottom line, making him worse than Homelander, he is our only weapon against Homelander."

"Now, we have no choice but to activate the plan, release Soldier Boy, and use Soldier Boy to fight Homelander!"

All the executives exchanged glances and finally nodded.

This was their only choice.

Releasing Soldier Boy might bring greater disaster, but it was better than being killed by Homelander.

Thus, Vought International made its final decision and began secretly preparing to send people to the former Soviet Union's underground laboratory to release the ultimate weapon sealed for many years—Soldier Boy.

All of this was overheard clearly by Rorschach, who was lurking near Vought, through his Telepathy Ability.

Rorschach leaned against the wall, a sly smile playing on his lips.

Perfect.

Everything was going according to his plan.

Vought releases Soldier Boy, Homelander and Soldier Boybattle, both suffering heavy losses.

And he, Rorschach, with his powerful abilities and 17 points, only needed to wait for the best moment to strike again, plunder superpowers, and become the ultimate winner.

Soldier Boy, Homelander, Vought International, let your fight begin quickly.

I am ready.

Chapter 30: Soldier Boy

The biting cold wind, carrying a Siberian blizzard, lashed against the outer walls of a former Soviet military base, abandoned for over half a century.

This secret laboratory, buried deep beneath the permafrost, was once the most terrifying superhuman research center of the Cold War. Now, only crumbling ruins and endless silence remained.

Three modified black armored vehicles crunched over the thick snow, silently stopping at the base entrance. The doors opened, and a dozen agents, clad in black combat uniforms and bearing the Vought International special insignia, streamed out. They held the latest pulse rifles, their faces expressionless, like cold killing machines.

Rorschach also secretly followed the team; after all, it was most beneficial for him to have everything proceed as much as possible according to his script. He casually tugged at the tactical scarf around his neck, a playful smile playing on his lips as his gaze swept over the dilapidated base.

The leading agent captain turned to his teammates: "This is the company's highest secret. According to intelligence, Soldier Boy was ambushed by the Soviets back then and sealed here in cryogenic stasis. He is still alive to this day. The boss has ordered that he must be brought back intact."

Rorschach smiled, sensing the tactical team's conversation from a distance. He shook his head, thinking, "This old geezer, nearly a hundred years old, just woke up; his temper must be terrible. It would be the best outcome if he doesn't tear them all apart."

The Vought International personnel did not stop, leading the way into the base. The passage was filled with the pungent smell of rust and coolant. Dim emergency lights flickered, and the walls were covered with bullet holes and old bloodstains. Decomposed remains of Soviet soldiers were visible everywhere, silently narrating the brutal struggle that took place here years ago.

The team delved three levels underground, where a heavy alloy blast door blocked their path. The password lock on the door was long rusted shut, covered with the marks of time.

"Blow it open," the agent captain ordered.

Two agents immediately stepped forward to install plastic explosives. With a dull roar, a large hole was blasted in the blast door. After the thick smoke cleared, a massive cryogenic chamber appeared before everyone.

The cryogenic chamber was transparent throughout, filled with light blue cryogenic gas. A burly man in a retro World War II military uniform lay inside with his eyes closed. His face was resolute, his muscles taut. Even after more than half a century of sleep, he still exuded a chilling sense of oppression—he was Soldier Boy, the first superhero, and Vought International's most successful yet most failed experimental subject.

"It's him," a hint of excitement flashed in the agent captain's eyes. He immediately directed his subordinates to operate the control panel, "Deactivate cryogenic stasis, initiate awakening protocol!"

Rorschach hid far away, watching everything with interest. His Telepathy Ability quietly activated, and his 1.0 version Telepathy power probed into the cryogenic chamber, instantly sensing the violent, angry, and murderous energy within the sleeper, like a dormant volcano ready to erupt at any moment.

"Interesting," Rorschach murmured, his cunning mind working rapidly. Soldier Boy, this is a good thing; if I can extract his abilities, I'll definitely make a fortune. And Homelander, that self-righteous false god, once this old man wakes up, there will be a good show to watch.

The awakening protocol started, and the gas in the cryogenic chamber slowly dissipated, with the temperature gradually rising. Soldier Boy's eyelashes trembled slightly, and his tightly closed eyes slowly opened. They were bloodshot eyes, filled with murderous intent and confusion, as if a god of war had returned from hell.

"Cough... cough cough..."

He coughed violently, a hoarse roar escaping his throat. His stiff body slowly began to move, every muscle awakening and releasing terrifying power.

"Mr. Soldier Boy, we are Vought International..." an agent stepped forward, attempting to calm him.

But before he could finish speaking, Soldier Boy suddenly raised his hand, and a violent burst of energy erupted from his palm, directly blasting the agent away, slamming him into the wall and turning him into a puddle of flesh.

"Vought International? Soviet scum? All of you deserve to die!"

Soldier Boy roared, rising from the cryogenic chamber like an out-of-control beast, and began to slaughter. His strength far surpassed ordinary superhumans; his fists could easily smash steel, and energy rays swept through the entire laboratory. The Vought International agents had no time to resist and were instantly severely casualties.

"This old geezer goes berserk as soon as he wakes up?" Rorschach watched coldly from a distance, showing no intention of helping.

Screams, explosions, and the sound of crushing bones intertwined. In just one minute, all the Vought Internationalagents in the entire laboratory were massacred by Soldier Boy, blood flowing like a river.

Soldier Boy stood in a pool of blood, looking around the unfamiliar environment, his eyes filled with anger and bewilderment. He remembered being ambushed by his teammates, captured by the Soviets, and sleeping for an unknown number of years. Now that he was awake, the world had long since changed.

He suddenly looked towards the laboratory exit, stomped his foot, and shot out like a cannonball, his speed leaving afterimages. In a moment, he disappeared into the depths of the base.

Rorschach dispelled his invisibility, looking at the scattered corpses on the ground, a cunning smile playing on his lips: "Go on, go on, the bigger the mess, the happier I'll be. Vought International, Homelander, your troubles have arrived."

He found a working communicator among the messy pile of corpses, dialed the number of a Vought Internationalexecutive, and, changing his voice to feign tension, reported: "Report, an accident occurred during the mission. Soldier Boy woke up and immediately went on a rampage. The tactical team is currently unable to resist."

After speaking, he hung up the phone. Rorschach whistled and turned to leave. He didn't pursue, because he knew that Soldier Boy's path of revenge had only just begun, and he only needed to reap the benefits.

Chapter 31: Path of Vengeance

Soldier Boy ran wildly, his Super Strength and Super Defense allowing him to easily break through the Siberian snowstorm, heading towards civilization. Images of being betrayed and ambushed by his teammates constantly replayed in his mind. Rage, like magma, churned in his chest, every cell screaming for revenge.

After running for an unknown amount of time, he finally arrived at a remote Russian town. Pedestrians walked the streets, dressed in strange clothes, holding cell phones he had never seen, and unfamiliar languages filled his ears. Everything before him made him feel incredibly strange and irritated.

This was not the world he knew, nor the America he fought for. More than half a century of slumber had completely disconnected him from the era.

"Hey, dressed so weirdly, which mental hospital did you escape from?" A few street thugs noticed Soldier Boy's strange military uniform and approached him, pointing and sneering with mockery and disdain.

Soldier Boy stopped, his icy gaze sweeping over them. That look, like the gaze of death, instantly sent a chill down the thugs' spines.

"What are you looking at? Believe it or not, I'll beat you up!" The leader of the thugs, emboldened, reached out and pushed Soldier Boy.

That push completely ignited the fury in Soldier Boy's heart. Without hesitation, he grabbed the thug's wrist and twisted it lightly. With a crisp 'crack,' the wrist was instantly broken.

"Ah—!"

A scream echoed through the street. Soldier Boy's eyes were cold as he kicked the thug away, sending him crashing into a lamppost, dead on the spot.

The remaining thugs were scared out of their wits and turned to run, but their speed was like snails compared to Soldier Boy. Soldier Boy slowly walked forward, each punch carrying deadly force. In just a few seconds, all the thugs who had mocked him were dead.

Pedestrians on the street screamed and fled, and the town instantly descended into chaos. Soldier Boy stood still, watching the scattered crowd, without a ripple in his eyes. In his view, these ordinary people were like ants, insignificant.

He did not continue the slaughter but found a secluded corner to observe this strange world. He secretly snuck into a house, turned on the television, and watched the news, commercials, and superhero promotional videos playing on the screen, gradually learning about this era after more than half a century of slumber.

Vought International, Homelander, Maeve, Black Noir, Starlight... familiar yet unfamiliar names appeared before his eyes. When he saw the Vought International logo and the scenes of these so-called superheroes acting arrogantly, the killing intent in his eyes almost overflowed.

He understood. The ones who ambushed him back then were people from Vought International, his once-trusted teammates! For profit, to introduce new superheroes, they abandoned him, the one who charged ahead, and sold him to the Soviet Union!

"Vought... Homelander... all who betrayed me..." Soldier Boy gritted his teeth, his fists clenched, knuckles white. "I'm back. Your doomsday has arrived!"

He no longer lingered, but determined the direction and ran wildly towards America. Home? He had no home long ago; only revenge remained in his heart. He would tear all who ambushed and betrayed him into pieces, making them pay the most painful price.

Meanwhile, Rorschach, who had long since returned, was lying in his luxurious apartment, embracing the beautiful Queen Maeve, his fingertips gently caressing Starlight's long hair, while Kimiko and Erin White snuggled beside him, enjoying the tender moment.

He watched the news report about the bizarre murders in the Russian town on TV, a playful smile curling at the corner of his mouth.

"Babies, the show is about to begin." Rorschach leaned down and whispered into Maeve's ear, "An old monster from a century ago is back, specifically looking to settle scores with Vought and Homelander. We just have to wait and watch a wonderful show."

Queen Maeve rolled her eyes at him, reaching out to pinch his face: "What bad idea are you cooking up now? Rorschach, I'm telling you, don't drag us into danger."

"Danger?" Rorschach laughed heartily, "In this world, there's nothing that can make me feel danger yet. Besides, with me here, no one can harm you."

While comforting his girlfriends, he pondered. Soldier Boywas about to return to America, and a major battle would inevitably erupt between him, Vought, and Homelander. He only needed to wait for the right moment to strike, plunder abilities, harvest points, and incidentally get rid of those he found displeasing.

Rorschach's eyes became deep and cunning. A storm, poised to sweep across the entire superhero world, was imminent.

Chapter 32: Preparing a Back-up Plan, Butcher's Plot

On the outskirts of New York, in an abandoned warehouse, the members of The Boys gathered together. The atmosphere was suppressed to the extreme, with exhaustion and determination written on everyone's faces.

Butcher had a cigar in his mouth and took a deep drag. Amidst the swirling smoke, his gaze was fierce and paranoid. Recently, Vought International's crackdown had been getting harsher; they were hiding like rats, constantly facing the danger of being killed, and they could no longer endure such a life.

"We can't hide anymore!" Butcher slammed the cigar out on the table, his voice raspy and firm. "If we keep hiding, we'll eventually be crushed to death by that piece of trash, Homelander! Instead of waiting for death, it's better to fight to the death!"

Hughie rubbed his hands nervously, his face pale. "Butcher, what do we have to fight Vought with? They have superheroes, an army, and the resources of the entire country. We only have a few people and a few crappy guns."

"Crappy guns?" Frenchie patted the weapon in his hand, a hint of ruthlessness flashing in his eyes. "We also have compound v. After injecting it, we can have superpowers too. Let's fight them!"

Kimiko stood to the side, nodding silently, her eyes filled only with the will to fight.

Butcher looked at everyone, his tone heavy. "The amount of compound v is too small to last long. We must find more, and we also need to find something that can truly counter superpowers. I contacted my old boss, and he gave me a key lead."

He took out a document and placed it on the table; it was a blueprint for the Godolkin Superhero Academy under Vought International.

"This academy is a place for training superheroes on the surface, but in reality, a top-secret laboratory is hidden underground." Butcher pointed at the blueprint, speaking word by word. "There is a special drug in the lab that is Vought's true trump card; it can allow us to easily suppress or even kill supes."

Hughie's eyes widened. "Does such a thing really exist? Then we must get our hands on it!"

"Exactly." Butcher nodded. "But before that, we need more compound v as a hole card. I know of a secret Vought lab where a large amount of compound v is stored. We move tonight."

Just then, the warehouse door was pushed open, and a figure walked in slowly—it was Rorschach. He was wearing casual clothes with a cynical smile on his face. "Yo, a bunch of big guys conspiring to rebel here? Do you need some help from this Vought Security big shot?"

Seeing Rorschach, Butcher's gaze instantly became wary. He knew Rorschach's strength and that this guy was incredibly black-bellied, never doing anything without a profit, but he also knew Rorschach was the only person who could help them right now.

"Rorschach, what are you doing here?" Butcher asked in a low voice.

Rorschach walked to the table, casually picked up the academy blueprint, glanced at it, and a black-bellied smile curled at the corner of his mouth. "I'm here to give you a lead. I know the location of the compound v lab you're looking for. I've already hacked the surveillance and defense layouts for you, ensuring you can come and go as you please."

Frenchie looked surprised. "You'd be this kind? Rorschach, what exactly are you after?"

"What am I after?" Rorschach sneered. "I don't like the look of Homelander, and I don't like Vought. Is that not allowed? Besides, Soldier Boy is coming back soon, and I don't want you small fries getting in the way when he and Homelander fight."

He threw a USB drive directly onto the table. "Inside are all the surveillance permissions and defense passwords for the lab; take them and use them yourselves. Remember, leave once you get the compound. Don't linger; Vought Security isn't a pushover."

Butcher picked up the USB drive, his heart full of doubt, but there was no better choice at the moment. He stared at Rorschach. "Why are you helping us?"

"Helping you?" Rorschach laughed loudly and reached out to pat Butcher's shoulder. Super Strength quietly activated, pressing down until Butcher's shoulder stung. "I'm helping myself. Butcher, don't try to play mind games with me. I can see right through your little schemes with Telepathy. Do your job well, and maybe I'll even let you have a taste of the spoils."

After speaking, Rorschach turned to leave. When he reached the door, he stopped and looked back. "By the way, regarding that laboratory at the Superhero Academy, I advise you not to go by yourselves. There's a professor with psychic abilities inside who isn't a good person. He specializes in controlling students; you'd just be throwing your lives away."

Butcher's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean?"

"Nothing special." Rorschach shrugged. "Once you get the compound, if you want to storm the academy, you can come find me. I'll go with you. After all, I'm quite interested in that professor's ability."

With those words, Rorschach's figure disappeared from the doorway, leaving the members of The Boys looking at each other in bewilderment.

"Is this guy a friend or a foe?" Hughie asked doubtfully.

Butcher gripped the USB drive, his gaze fierce. "Regardless of whether he's friend or foe, as long as he can help us get what we need to fight the supes, I'd dare to cooperate even with the devil! Tonight, we act!"

As night fell, The Boys followed the lead provided by Rorschach and quietly infiltrated Vought's secret laboratory. Just as Rorschach said, the surveillance was completely hacked and the defense system was practically non-existent. They easily found the warehouse storing compound v and returned with several full crates of the compound.

And in Butcher's heart, that crazy plan had already taken shape. Obtain the special drug from the academy's lab and take down all the superheroes. Even if it meant making a deal with the devil, he would do it at any cost.

Chapter 33: The Academy, The Professor

After successfully seizing the temporary compound v, The Boys returned to their hideout. Several boxes of blue vials were on the table, emitting an alluring yet dangerous glow. This was their only leverage against the Supes.

Butcher looked at the vials with complex emotions. He knew the side effects of temporary compound v—that after injection, one would become violent, lose control, and even sanity. But for revenge, to take down Homelander, he had no other choice.

"These vials are enough to sustain us through a major battle," Frenchie said excitedly as he counted the quantity.

"Go head-to-head?" Butcher scoffed. "The power of temporary compound v is nothing before Homelander. Our real target is the Superhero Academy's laboratory; the drugs there are the true killing blow."

Hughie said worriedly, "But Rorschach said there's a Telepathy professor at the Academy who's very dangerous. We're no match for him at all."

"So, we need to cooperate with Rorschach," Butcher said through gritted teeth. "Although I detest that guy—he's mysterious, sinister, and full of lies—his strength is our only reliance."

He immediately took out his phone and dialed Rorschach's number. When the call connected, Rorschach's lazy voice came through, mixed with the light laughter of a woman in the background. Clearly, the guy was enjoying himself in a lady's embrace.

"Butcher, calling so late, do you miss me? Or have you got the compound and want me to take you to the Academy?" Rorschach's teasing remarks were as irritating as ever.

Butcher suppressed his anger and said in a deep voice, "Rorschach, we've got the temporary compound v. Now, come with us to the Superhero Academy to get the drugs from the lab. Name your price."

"Name my price?" Rorschach laughed. "I don't really want anything, but coincidentally, I'm bored lately, so accompanying you on a trip wouldn't hurt. Besides, I've wanted to deal with that Academy professor for a long time. He's been using his powers to control students for his own pleasure. Such scum deserves to die."

Butcher was stunned, not expecting Rorschach to agree so readily. "When are you leaving?"

"Tonight," Rorschach said. "The Academy's defenses are weakest at night, and the students are resting, so it's a good time to act. Wait for me at the Academy's back gate. Don't play any tricks, or I'll kill all of you first."

Hanging up the phone, Rorschach got out of bed. Queen Maeve, who was beside him, reached out and grabbed him, asking doubtfully, "Where are you going?"

Starlight also sat up and said softly, "Rorschach, be careful. Vought Academy is very dangerous."

Rorschach lowered his head, kissed both their foreheads, and said with a light tone, "Don't worry, my darlings, I'm just going to deal with some trash and pick up some good stuff. You two wait for me obediently at home, and I'll spend time with you when I get back."

He put on a Vought Security uniform, activated his invisibility ability, and instantly vanished. Kimiko and Erin looked in the direction he disappeared, their eyes filled with worry and trust. They knew their man was the strongest person in the world.

Late at night, Vought Super Academy was silent. This seemingly glamorous academy actually hid countless filth and evil. Students were strictly controlled, subjected to Vought International's brainwashing education, becoming tools for their profit.

Rorschach and The Boys met at the back gate. Butcherlooked at the empty spot, and just as he was about to speak, Rorschach's voice came from beside him: "Don't look, I'm right here, invisible, so I don't get caught on camera."

Butcher jumped in surprise and said in a deep voice, "What's the plan?"

"Split up," Rorschach said. "You go find the lab, and I'll deal with that Telepathy professor. Remember, don't touch the students; most of them are innocent. If you encounter resisting security or researchers, kill them directly; don't hold back."

"You're taking on the professor alone? Are you sure?" Hughie asked worriedly.

Rorschach: "No problem. In front of me, he's not even an ant."

With that, Rorschach's figure completely vanished, heading towards the professor's office building. Butcherlooked in the direction he disappeared, his eyes cold, and waved to the others: "Move out! According to the plan, find the underground laboratory!"

The group immediately infiltrated the Academy. With Rorschach having hacked the surveillance permissions, they moved unhindered. Rorschach, meanwhile, easily arrived at the professor's office door, activating Telepathy 1. at full power, instantly probing the situation inside the office.

A middle-aged man was sitting on the sofa, using his psychic abilities to manipulate a female student, his eyes lecherous, his behavior vulgar, engaged in indecent acts.

"Heh, trash," Rorschach sneered inwardly, a dark killing intent instantly rising as he pushed the door open and walked in.
