As Peter retreated to his room, breathing a sigh of relief that he didn't make things awkward with May, May was going through her own worries.

Peter spent the entire week doing this, visiting all the libraries he could and recording information from all the books he found on different subjects.
Anatomy, biology, computer science, electronics, mechanics, etc.
If a library had a book that interested Peter, Peter would quickly read it and add it to his mental library.
But even if a person has read hundreds or thousands of books, it doesn't mean that they will understand them or become an expert on the subject.
It takes much more than that to replace the need for a professional teacher or guide that a learning institution like a university or college gives you.
But Peter didn't have time to go to college or university. Even if he did, he'd have to learn at other people's pace.
That's why Peter needed the experience of people who were already specialized in their fields or who had already attended an educational institution.
Using the same method he used on the previous gang members, Peter put a few specific people into a sleep state.
Over the next few weeks, Peter set about doing just that.
The first subject Peter decided to learn was anatomy and biology.
May and his high school teacher were the only ones Peter knew who were knowledgeable on the subject.
But since he didn't want to pry into May's mind and didn't know her schoolteacher's address, Peter had to look for other people.
But Peter did know the address of the hospital where May worked, so Peter was able to take a quick trip at night and find the doctors and nurses who had the night shift at the hospital.
Peter quickly found an unemployed nurse and put her to sleep.
Making sure that no one was around and no security cameras were on him, Peter led the sleeping nurse to an empty room.
If there were even a security camera, they would only see the sleeping nurse, floating quickly into a room.
And Peter remains invisible at all times.
Placing the nurse on a bed, Peter set to work gaining the knowledge he wanted from the nurse.

What Peter did was very simple.
He cast a compulsion spell on the nurse's mind, reviewing all her knowledge of the human body and medicine that she learned at her institute.
After that, Peter gently crept in and spied on the nurse's mind to gain her knowledge and understanding.
Little by little, the nurse's mind reviewed all her knowledge, from her first day at school to the last day of her first trimester.
Peter didn't know if he could accidentally injure the nurse if the dream lasted too long, so he only did it for a period of time.
Peter only did this a few times before, and it was some of the core members of the gang he ended who were his guinea pigs.
Also since they're dead now, Peter wouldn't know if there were any long-term side effects.
