Wong at least believed Peter somewhat and remembered the Ancient One mentioning not to be surprised when Peter mentions his powers.
Putting away the questions he had in mind, Wong did not continue asking Peter and said, "Peter, if you want to formally join Kamar-taj and learn sorcery, you will have to meet the leader of Kamar-taj."
Peter only lingered for a moment before answering affirmatively.
"Follow me" with Peter's confirmation, Wong stood up and led Peter out of the room and brought him to meet the ancestral.

Peter gave another nod to confirm the question and Ancestral continued.
"Then you should know that if Kamar-taj needs help with protecting the land, you must give it," the Ancient One said, not taking her eyes off Peter.
It seemed like he was looking straight into his soul, waiting for Peter's answer.
Peter didn't even hesitate for a moment before answering.
He nodded, and after swallowing the sandwich they were eating, he said:
"Wong has informed me of the threats Kamar-Taj faces in protecting the land."
"It's my home planet, of course I'll help however I can."
Ancestral gave a satisfied settlement and continued.
"I'm glad to hear that, then Peter Parker, you're welcome to be part of Kamar-Taj."

Ancestral fired Peter after talking to him for 1 hour.
He asked him basic, non-private questions about his life and tested his magical knowledge.
To say Ancestral was surprised by Peter's talent was an understatement.
