This was a land once ruled by many gods, the god would give blessings to those chosen and sent them on the quest to slay the demon lord… But this was all in the past now.
Nowadays, the land is peaceful. Ever since both races signed a contract, they have agreed to cease all war. Since the world is now peaceful, there was no need for God's blessings anymore. So the god left the world, it is said they went to a different world to give their help. But before they leave, they share a portion of their power to nine residents of the world. That's why there are currently nine elemental deities who have control over their respective elements.
There are many different names the residents of the world gave the blessing. It is most commonly referred to as spells, and they have categories for each of the spells that are known to the world. From the lowest to the highest, low ranked spells, mid ranked spells, high ranked spells, legendary ranked spells, mythical ranked spells. There are also some special spells, but they are too dangerous so they have a separate category, mostly known as "Forbidden Spells", the spells that are categorised in this category are said to be capable of destroying the world if not handled well.
How did the fight between the human and demon stop? It was all thanks to the legendary heroes, they managed to confront the demon lord and have made a truce to cease all fighting. After the news was spread that the hero team had won and made a truce, the world was in cheers. Celebrating happily as the long awaited peace has finally come.
The hero team was said to consist of 5 people, a human warrior, a demon wizard, a dwarf blacksmith, a beastkin saint and an elf archer. But after those celebrations, they all disappear like they never existed in the first place. No one knew where they went but they were eternally grateful for their contribution.
Rumours said they have ascended to the heaven realm and became god, or maybe they have returned to their original life, or the heroes were not real and so on. But no one knew the truth.

"That's it?! But I want to hear more!" (Kid)
The kid was upset at the sudden stop of the story. His mother beside him comforted him.
"It's already quite late, so you should sleep now so you can have a refreshing morning." (Kid mother)
Said the mother with a kind tone while patting the kid's head.
"I wonder what happened to the heroes, did they continue to bring a hero? Or did they split apart?" (Kid)
"Haha, I wonder as well. I personally think that they returned to their family after the war." (Kid mother)
"I hope so too! They must have a family to go back to!" (Kid)
"Alright alright, don't get too excited now." (Kid mother)
*Kiss* the mother kisses the kid on his forehead.
"Goodnight mom…" (Kid)
"Goodnight sweetie." (Kid mother)
"I will read you another story tomorrow, as well as prepare your favourite food!" (Kid mother)

The mother put out the fire in the lantern and left the room. The kid turned to the window while lying inside his blanket. Gazing into the starry night sky before drifting into a dream world with a smile. A world where he became a hero and fought alongside the heroes he looks up to.

A giant that was holding a large sword confronted the person that was wielding a burning scythe.

"Too scared to talk? I will make sure you die a gruesome death, to avenge all my brother and sister!" (Giant)
The giant said loudly while the person's eye was full of what seemed to be tears made out of hatred, agony, pain and was staring… blankly? at the giant, there was no sign of emotion in that person's eyes as if the person had lost all meaning of life.
"Grr… stop staring at me! Your gaze is making me shiver!" (Giant)
The giant was intimidated by the uneasy gaze and attacked the person with full force. Seemingly trying to hide his fear for them.

There is a saying that goes, "When you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes back."
"How unpleasant." (?)
Before the giant could even land a hit on the person…. No…. Before the giant could even realise what happened.
*Shing!*
His head has already been cut off.
"What?" (Giant)
It all happened suddenly, even though the head of the giant had already been cut off. The giant still has consciousness.
"How did you-" (Giant)

Before the giant can finish his word. The person then follows up with a rapid slash on the giant head, cutting it to pieces.

Peter was angry at me.

"Sigh… Anyways, we're already late. So we must get going now." (Peter)

I grabbed Peter and he fell onto my chest.

Peter immediately pushed me aside. Blushing heavily before turning around.
Hmph… if you want to do that. Wait until we finish our quest first you dumb dragon." (Peter)
"Sure. Whatever you say my dear." (Zacky)
"Cut it out! Let's get going already!" (Peter)
Peter then grabbed my hand and ran off.
"What took you guys so long?" (Helix)
"Yeah… it was pretty long." (Lujr)
Helix and Lujr were sitting on a bench.
"No time to waste! Let's get moving! Zacky?" (Peter)
"Yes yes, I'll open the portal right now." (Zacky)
*Click!*
With a snap of my finger, a portal appears right in front of us.
"Let's go!" (Peter)
"Finally…" (Helix)
Everyone jumped into the portal.
"... Heh. How did I even fall in love with you in the first place? Even though you fell for me first but… I fell even harder for you. Like we are destined to be together…" (Zacky)
With a smile, I also jumped into the portal, joining them on the upcoming adventure.
