(To Naraku)
(Naraku's POV)
"Hmm. Very interesting, Kanna. I've dispatched you, Kagura, Goshinki, Juromaru, and Kageromaru, and not a single one of you were able to put an end to Inuyasha. Hmm." I stated as I watched the mirror with a smirk.
"Let's give this Ryukotsei a try, shall we?" I ask as I glance away.
"Was there no one else... You wished to see?" Kanna suddenly questioned, causing me to turn to her with my narrowed.
"What do you mean, Kanna?" I ask, while furrowing my brows, but she stared at me vacantly. "I know exactly who she means..." I think with a scoff.
"Leave me, Kanna," I demand, causing her to walk away. "My focus should be on trying to get rid of Inuyasha, not that Mortal, she is none of my concern." I think while beginning to create a new demon puppet.
(To Naraku's Demon puppet)
Naraku's puppet appeared on top of the giant claw that was pieced into the dragon named Ryukotsei.
"Naraku!" Inuyasha calls out as he spots the puppet, which leads it to stand up, while laughing.
"Naraku, what are you doing here? Actually, more importantly, where the hell is (Y/N)?! WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO HER?!" Inuyasha exclaims, and I scoff.
"That mortal... I no longer had use for her." The puppet insists as it bends down and places its hand on the claw, causing it to begin disintegrating.
"However, if you somehow survive this, you should ask your brother for that girl's whereabouts rather than me." The puppet declares, while disappearing.
"Damn, you," Inuyasha calls out as Ryukotsei began to slightly move, causing the clouds to blacken, along with lightning to shine through them. The puppets' laugh rang out, causing Inuyasha to look over to see it standing on a nearby cliff.
"Ryukotsei, over yonder stands the son of the demon who hurled you into dormancy. Do with him as you please." The puppet proclaims, causing Ryukotsei to begin moving, making the rocks and overgrowth collapse around him and Inuyasha.
"This is terrible, we must flee, master Inuyasha!" Myoga, the flea resting on Inuyasha's head, shouts.
"What? You must be out of your mind. This is much better than slaying a defenseless demon like I was some kind of pathetic coward." Inuyasha states as he grabs his sword.
"If I'm gonna make the Tessaiga lighter. Then I want to face him head-to-head." Inuyasha adds as he draws his sword.
"I'm gonna take you out!" Inuyasha declares, while glaring at Ryukotsei, who was staring down at him.
"Little man, you think that you can destroy me? How very entertaining. This shall prove amusing." Ryukotsei points out as he began to laugh with an amused expression.
"Amusing?" Inuyasha asks, but then Ryukotsei quickly rushes towards Inuyasha, who dodges his advance by jumping up and onto Ryukotsei's back he began running on it.
"No! It's hopeless!" Myoga cried out as he was holding on to a stand of Inuyasha's hair for dear life. Jumping off of Ryukotsei's back, Inuyasha began running on the side of these cliffs.
"Such an eyesore." Ryukotsei declares as he opens his mouth, causing a light to form from it and shoot towards Inuyasha. Jumping up once again, Inuyasha dodges it with a chuckle and a smirk. However, Ryukotsei then laughs, causing Inuyasha to look over towards where the attack was heading to see the puppet be engulfed by the white light and disintegrate.
(To Naraku)
I look over to see my demon puppet being burnt up by blue flames.
"Ahh. That demon is remarkable." I insist with a smirk. "It should be easy for him to overcome Inuyasha. Instead of keeping an eye on some human woman, this performance shall be much more enjoyable." I think as I narrow my eyes at the puppet's ashes.
(To (YN) )
( (Y/N)'s POV)
"What is this terribly strong demonic aura I'm feeling...? It's so strong, there's no way it's Naraku." I think, as I stated, that the dark cloud was quite a distance away.
"(Y/N), is something wrong?" Rin asks, causing me to pop back into reality and look over to see her riding on A-Un, but she was facing towards me.
"You'll be left behind!" Jaken calls out, causing me to see how far away from them I was.
"I'm coming!" I shout as I rush over to them, feeling a bit uneasy. "I'm certain whatever's creating this horrible energy is over there where the dark clouds are, but what kind of terrifying beast could manage this?" I wonder as I glance over to see that Sesshomaru was stopped and looking back at me.
"You feel it?" Sesshomaru's questions cause my eyes to widen, but I nod as I stop walking.
"Feel what?" Rin questions as she looks between us with a confused expression, as A-Un and Jaken stop in their tracks.
"What is it, milord?" Jaken asks.
"Yes, it would be impossible not to, even if it's so far away," I answer, while looking over at the dark clouds in the far distance, causing Jaken and Rin to look over as well.
"Bad weather?" Rin questions.
"Hmm." I hear Sesshomaru's sound, causing me to look back to see him turn away and begin walking again.
"What are you two talking about?" Jaken asks as he and Rin look over to me. "I'm surprised Jaken doesn't sense this demonic aura even though he's a demon... More importantly, how am I able to sense it so clearly?" I wonder as I shake my head.
"It's nothing, let's go so we're not left behind," I answered as A-Un and I began to follow after Sesshomaru, while Jaken was standing there.
"Hey, wait up!" Jaken calls out as he begins rushing after us. "Sesshomaru obviously knows what's going on, but we haven't altered are course... He must not see it as important." I think, as I then feel a tap on my shoulder, causing me to look over to see Rin.
"Are you hungry?" Rin's question caused me to put on a confused expression, but before I could answer, Rin's stomach rings out.
"Rin..." Sesshomaru trails off, causing us all to look over towards him.
"Yes, my lord." Rin salutes as she stiffens, causing Jaken to let out an annoyed sigh, while we all stop once again. However, I grab Rin off of A-Un with a smile.
"Rin and I are going to go collect some food, right?" I ask, looking over at Rin, causing her to nod.
"Yes, we'll be back!" Rin chirps as I set her down, but she grabs my hand, leading me towards the forest.
"Don't get lost, you two!" I hear Jaken call out, and I slightly shake my head. "It's not easy to get lost in a forest..." I think with a sigh. Once in the forest, Rin and I began to round up food when I began to feel as if I was being watched, but then I started to sense a large quantity of shards along with a familiar demonic aura. "Could it be?!" Before I could stop myself, I rushed deeper into the forest.
"You found me quite quickly..." A deep voice trails off as I finally stop feeling a little out of breath.
"Nar- Naraku." I stutter as I look up at the tree, but then I put on a confused expression. "Wait, why do I feel so desperate in wanting to see him. He threw me away!" I think as I feel anger begin welling up inside me as I stared up in the tree I knew he was in.
"What do you want?" I ask, narrowing my eyes to try and see him in the tree, but I couldn't as I began regaining my composure. "Dammit, I should be angry and trying to pull him out of that tree to get some answers, but it's as if I can't... Be mad at him." I think that the expressions on my face were no longer under my control.
"You shouldn't show such a face, (Y/N)" Naraku trails off, causing me to put on a slightly confused expression. "Dammit, what kind of face am I making?!" I wonder, but then a chuckle sounds out, causing me to glare back up at the trees.
"What's so funny?!" I exclaim, causing him to stop laughing.
"I wonder what face you'll make when you realize something important to you will soon be lost." Naraku declares, but before I could ask him anything, a giant gust of wind blew through my hair, and I could no longer feel his demonic presence or the Jewel Shards.
"Damn it..." I trail off as I fall to my knees, while punching my fist into the ground. "I didn't learn anything from him, but what did he mean?!" I wonder as I punched the ground once more.
"I can't even remember, so how would I know!" I call out as I punch in front of me, but I feel someone catch my fist, causing me to look up.
"(Y/N)." Sesshomaru was in front of me, while having a hold of my fist, causing my eyes to widen.
"I-I'm sorry." I apologize as tears that had already formed began to roll down my face.
"What happened?" Sesshomaru asks with a slightly different expression from usual, causing me to look down from his piercing gaze.
"Here you two are!" I hear Jaken call out before I could say anything.
"(Y/N)!" Rin calls out as she rushes over to us, while Sesshomaru helps me up from the ground. However, instead of setting me on the ground, he sets me on A-Un, who was walking over, causing my eyes to widen.
"Stay..." Sesshomaru trails off as he stares at me for a moment, while his expression turns back to normal. "Stay, oh, he must want me to ride on A-Un for now, right?" I wonder, but he then turns away and begins walking away.
"So cool!" Rin chirps, causing Jaken to scoff as he follows after Sesshomaru, but I then turn to Rin to see her trying to get up on A-Un, causing me to grab her hand and pull her up.
"I'm sorry, Rin." I apologize, which makes her put on a confused expression.
"What for?" Rin questions as she began to pull out the food she gathered, while A-Un began to walk following after Jaken and Sesshomaru. "I left her to go after Naraku, just to be threatened and mocked..." I think as a tear slid down my face, before I could wipe it away, Rin brought her hand to my face.
"It's okay, everything's going to be okay (Y/N)," Rin assures as she wipes my falling tear off my face with a warm smile, causing my eyes to widen, but I then smile.
"Thank you." I thanked her as I hugged Rin, which made her giggle.
"I wasn't able to gather much, but here." Rin insists after we pull away from each other, and she holds out some berries to me.
"Then the next time we search for food, I'll make sure to get three times more than this, okay?" I ask, causing a bright smile to spread across Rin's face.
"Mm-hmm!" Rin sounded as she placed some food she gathered, which caused me to look up into the sky to see that there was no more demonic aura raging around or dark clouds anywhere to be seen. "I feel a lot more at ease now, but why did Naraku have to be so cryptic? I mean, he already threw me out of his castle and now he comes here threatening something I can't even remember..." I think with a confused expression.
(To Naraku)
(Naraku's POV)
"Every time, I see her... These human emotions grow stronger. Damn it!" I think, but I shake my head and put a smirk on my face.
"If I can't kill her, then I'll crush everything she cares about, even if she can't remember." I think as I stare at the Shikon Jewel that appeared in my hands. "This is your punishment, (Y/N). You, a mere mortal, to think you can make I, Naraku, feel such sentiments." I think as I close my hand, gripping the Shikon Jewel.
(To (Y/N) )
( (Y/N)'s POV)
"How about some Cotton Candy?" A familiar woman's voice rings out as a big ball of furry candy is in my face, causing me to look up to see Mom and me smiling.
"Thank you!" A childish voice rang out from my body as I looked back down at the "Cotton Candy". "Is this another memory?" I wonder as I'm lifted all of a sudden.
"Anything for my (N/N)." A familiar man's voice rings out, causing me to look over and see that Dad is the one who picked me up.
"Which ride shall we go on first?" Mom asks, causing me to look around to see a bunch of weird contraptions, but I then point over to one with a bunch of Horses.
"Oh, the Merry-go-round?" Dad questions, and I nod.
"I want to ride on the horsey!" I chirp, causing both Mom and Dad to chuckle. "I was probably pretty young when we came to this place." I think as they made their way to the Merry-go-round.
"Wee! I sound out as we began to spin around on the horses we had chosen, but I was sharing one with Mom, so as not to fall off. "I must have had such a happy childhood." I think I, Dad, and Mom went on many more attractions. However, the next thing I knew, I was alone, standing in a vast darkness.
"Mom? Dad?!" I call out as I begin to walk through the emptiness.
"(Y/N)" A voice rings out, causing me to look over, but a hand wrapped around my throat. Suddenly, bright red eyes appeared, and a heinous chuckle sounded out.
"You'll lose everything, I'll make sure of it!" Naraku declares, causing a chill to run down my spine as tears begin to sting my eyes.
"Why?" I ask as Naraku appeared in front of me, and his eyes widened.
"What did I ever do to you?!" I exclaim as tears begin running down my face, causing him to let go of my throat.
"You existed..." A different voice rang out as Naraku's appearance completely changed.
"Dad?" I question as my eyes widen to see that he was standing in front of me instead of Naraku with an angry expression.
"You're Mother and I are dead... BECAUSE OF YOU!" His voice ran through my head, causing me to quickly sit up, drenched in sweat.
"What did he mean..." I trail off as I get up and begin walking away from A-Un, who had Rin sleeping on top of him and Jaken sleeping against him. "The beginning was obviously a memory, but it turned into a nightmare." I think as I then look up to see the big bright moon, causing me to stop in my tracks.
"That dream," I say as I sat down and continued to stare up at the moon. "It's probably thanks to Naraku that the dream turned into a nightmare." I think as I let out a sigh.
"(Y/N)." Sesshomaru's voice sounds out, causing me to glance over to see him sitting beside me.
"Oh, Sesshomaru-"
"Another dream?" Sesshomaru asks, completely catching me off guard, but I then nod.
"Yes, it was of my parents," I answer, but he narrowed his eyes at me.
"It turned into a nightmare, probably thanks to my encounter with Naraku," I add, causing Sesshomaru to look away from me and up to the moon. "He had asked me earlier what happened, but he knew I was with Naraku before." I think as I look down at the ground.
"Stay." Sesshomaru insists causing me to quickly look over at him.
"Sesshomaru?" I question, but he then turns to me. "Did I hear him right?" I wonder, but a slight smile appeared on his face for an instant.
"You may stay as long as you'd like." Sesshomaru responds as he stand up, while the wind blew through his silver hair that danced in the moonlight.
"Thank you." I thanked, while standing up causing Sesshomaru to nod and began to walk away. "I needed to hear that." I think as I took one last look at the bright big moon and then followed after Sesshomaru.
