Crowds gather around the arena, cameras flash, and the atmosphere feels lighter than it has in years — though a strange tension hides beneath the laughter.
Gohan, now older and stronger, prepares to enter alongside Videl and his energetic little brother, Goten, who has grown remarkably powerful for his age.
> Goten (grinning): "I can't wait to see what kind of fighters show up!"
Gohan (smiling): "Just remember, no going Super Saiyan during the kids' division."
Nearby, Sonic leans against a wall, watching the reunion with his usual easy grin.
> Sonic: "You know, I've got a feeling today's gonna be interesting. Last night, I sensed something weird — a white-colored hedgehog, kind of like me."
Goten (eyes wide): "Really? There's another one like you?"
Sonic (nodding): "Yeah. Fast too. But I couldn't tell if he's friend or foe."
Before they can say more, a bright flash of golden light fills the sky. The crowd gasps as Goku appears — his halo faintly glowing, his energy calm but immense.
> Goku (smiling warmly): "Hey, everyone! Long time no see!"
Gohan rushes forward to hug his father, his eyes bright.
> Gohan: "Dad! You're really here!"
Goku (laughing): "Just for one day — better make it count, huh?"
Sonic steps up, folding his arms with a grin.
> Sonic: "Been a while, Goku. Seven years, to be exact."
Goku (smiling back): "Yeah, and you haven't aged a day! Still the same hedgehog who helped save the world."
Sonic: "Guess speed keeps me young."
The two clasp hands, their friendly rivalry instantly rekindled.
As the others gather, laughter and old memories fill the air — unaware that somewhere beyond the arena, new powers are already watching… waiting for their moment to strike.
Screen 2 – The Junior Division and the Sneaky Plan
The Junior Division begins, and all eyes turn to the youngest fighters — Trunks and Goten. Despite their age, their strength and speed shock the entire audience.
They breeze through the matches, laughing and having fun the whole time. Even Mr. Satan, watching from the stands, can't believe what he's seeing.
> Mr. Satan (sweating): "T-Those kids are freakishly strong! What are they feeding them?!"
The final round comes down to Trunks vs. Goten. Their fight is fast, playful, but still explosive — shockwaves ripple across the arena every time their fists collide.
In the end, Trunks wins after a clever feint and a last-second punch.
Both boys laugh and shake hands, proud of their fight.
> Goten (grinning): "You got me this time, but next tournament's mine!"
Trunks (smirking): "We'll see about that."

Later, as the Adult Division prepares to start, the two boys sneak into the locker area wearing oversized cloaks, hoping to blend in with the older fighters.
They pull down their hoods and whisper.
> Goten: "Do you really think this disguise will work?"
Trunks: "Trust me, nobody's that observant."
Just outside, Sonic is lounging on a bench, munching on a chili dog and watching the preparations. He glances toward the disguised pair walking by.
> Sonic (thinking): "Huh… those two look kinda familiar."
He squints, rubbing his eyes.
> Sonic: "Wait a sec… is that— nah, I must be seeing things again. My eyes are playing tricks on me. Should've brought my sunglasses."
The boys walk past him unnoticed, trying not to laugh.
> Trunks (whispering): "That was close."
Goten (grinning): "He totally didn't recognize us!"
Sonic stretches and leans back, unaware that the two "mystery fighters" are about to shake up the Adult Division — and maybe even get him caught in the chaos that's coming.
Screen 3 – The Adult Division Begins
The Adult Division of the World Martial Arts Tournament kicks off under a bright blue sky, the crowd roaring with excitement. Familiar faces step into the ring — Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Krillin, Android 18, Gohan, and Sonic, all ready to test their strength after years of peace.
The announcer's voice echoes through the stadium:
> Announcer: "Ladies and gentlemen, we've got a legendary lineup today! Earth's greatest warriors — and, uh, one blue hedgehog — are back to show us what true power looks like!"
Sonic flashes a grin, waving to the cheering fans.
> Sonic: "Guess I'm the celebrity guest this year."
Krillin (laughing): "You've got fans everywhere, man. Half the crowd's holding signs with your face on 'em!"
> Sonic (smirking): "What can I say? Speed sells."

But the lighthearted mood changes when two unfamiliar fighters enter the arena — Shin and Kibito. Both move with calm precision, their eyes sharp and focused.
Sonic immediately senses something off.
> Sonic (quietly to Gohan): "Those two… they don't move like normal humans. Their energy feels different. Heavy… like it's from somewhere else."
Gohan (nodding): "Yeah, I can feel it too. It's calm but deep — like space itself."
Piccolo narrows his eyes, tension rising.
> Piccolo (thinking): "That small one… Shin. His energy… it's ancient. I've only felt something like that from the Kais…"
The two strangers take their positions silently, watching the others with a composed, almost divine expression.
> Shin (softly): "So these are the warriors of Earth. Strong… but unaware of the storm that's coming."
Kibito: "Should we intervene?"
Shin: "Not yet. Let's see how events unfold."
