"It freaking burns!" Aiden shouted, clutching his eye's wound, and blood was rushing down his face.
He opened his remaining eye, but he instantly jumped up in surprise.
The captain of the royal guards stood in front of him.
Glaring daggers into his soul.
"Captain? What's up with you…?" Aiden said, taking a step back.
"I must guide you back to the castle." The captain of the royal guards muttered, his voice resolute.
"Huh? No way! I can't let all these people die like this!" Aiden shouted back, standing his ground.
"I apologize, your highness, but these are direct orders from his majesty; even you, the crown prince, cannot defy his command. Choose the easy way or the hard way?" He said, his eyes fixed on Aiden.
"Over my dead body!" Aiden muttered under his breath, clutching his sword's hilt tightly.
"I'm afraid I have to bring you back, even if the only thing that remains of you is a rotting corpse." He mumbled, unsheathing his sword.
"Crap." Aiden thought to himself, awkwardly unsheathing his sword.
In a flash.
The captain's sword is inches away from Aiden's throat.
CLANG!
He managed to block it.
But that wasn't the end, the guard struck him with a brutal kick to the stomach.
"GAH!" Aiden couldn't even see the attack.
After a second, he regained his balance.
Recovering his swordsmanship stance.
Aiden lunged at him, aiming for the heart.
The guard dodged gracefully; in his eyes, Aiden was just a weakling.
But, he missed one thing, which was a feint.
Aiden spun around and jumped high off the ground.

The captain retaliated by manifesting his aura.
An ethereal aura enveloped his sword; its aquamarine color shone brightly, seemingly trapping any enemy in its beauty.
Suddenly, the captain disappeared into mere mist.
"Wait, what? Where did he go!" Aiden thought to himself, worried about himself.
"You really think I'd lose to someone like you? Many people have challenged me, and won't you guess what happened to them? I tore them piece by piece; they never escaped my sight, and none will be able to stay alive after confronting me! And to those that managed to defeat me, I slowly devoured them, from their precious ones to sabotaging their relations, I slowly broke them, DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT MISTAKE YOU HAVE GOTTEN YOURSELF INTO, DO YOU?" He laughed like a maniac, his voice echoed strangely, as if he wasn't even human.
Out of nowhere, the captain materialized in Aiden's blind spot, his injured eye.
Aiden wasn't able to react at the time; he wasn't even able to follow his own movement with his eyes.
THUMP!
Aiden fell on the hard, rocky ground.
With just his bare fist, the captain was able to overpower him.
"You remember when I said, I'll bring you back, even if you were just a rotting corpse, well, that's exactly what I am going to do." He shouted maniacally, and he prepared to end Aiden once and for all.
"Goodbye, Crown Prince. With your death, the kingdom shall crumble."

The Guard intentionally let go of his sword for it to pierce Aiden's back and end him.
But it didn't go as he planned; the sword bounced right off his back.
A Golden Light Shielded Aiden's back.
"What?! How did you-"
Aiden stood up, glaring at the guard.
"Just because you managed to get up, doesn't mean you can beat me-" The Guard mumbled, but was cut off by Aiden: "Cut the crap."
Aiden unsheathed his sword. And lunged towards him.
The captain braced for impact, but unexpectedly, he hadn't felt it.
When he opened his eyes, he was met with a slash straight to the face.
"AGH! How dare you!"
Black blood poured out of the injury.
"Now you've done it!" The captain screamed out, retaliating with a thrust.
In the last second, Aiden managed to dodge with nothing but a graze to his side.
But that wasn't it; the captain's sword glowed with an aura, trying to end Aiden with one last attack.
But Aiden did the same; his sword got enveloped with a golden aura.
In a split second, both of them clashed with their auras, and both were being overwhelmed. It was a tie; both were at the same level of strength, or at least aura.
They continued to trade blows.

Both sides had sustained heavy injuries, some to the face, some to the legs, some to the chest.
Blood was everywhere; they were pushing themselves to their limits.
"You won't live to see the next day!" The captain said, laughing like a maniac.
"Oh, you think so? We'll see about that."
Suddenly.
Aiden stepped back.
The captain was confused by his enemy's move.
"So you're running away now? Aren't you?"
He didn't receive a response from Aiden.
He was just standing there, holding his sword, golden aura floated around him.
"NOW!" Aiden shouted, pointing his sword at his opponent.
The guard puts his arms in front of him as an act of defense.
But once again, he hadn't felt anything.
"Not again!" The guard shouted out.
He opened his eyes, but no one was in front of him, as if nothing was there in the first place.
He looked around him, left, right, west, south.
Then he looked up.
"Huh? Is that a meteor? Wait, isn't that the Crown Prince? How did he get there?!" The guard exclaimed, flabbergasted by Aiden's action.
"Here we go!!!" Aiden was falling, his sword was directly aimed at the captain's head.
