After a long time, the pain has disappeared, as if it was never there in the first place.
"I f-feel stronger, much stronger." He thought to himself.
He tightened his hand into a fist and swung it straight to the ground.
What it left was a small crater; he had grown strong enough to leave a hole in to ground with nothing but raw strength.
Suddenly.
He heard footsteps from behind him, ones that sounded not quite right…
He turned around.
His eyes widened, his fist tightened.
"Why is he here…?" He mumbled; his body was shaking just from the presence before him.
It was that same anklered monster from the beginning, mouth all bloody, the one that traumatized him.
The monster opened his mouth; his eyes were blood red. "Foolish human, here you cannot regress. I hold all the power here. Today is the day you're truly dying." Saliva was coming down his lips.
He lunged at Aiden, aiming to gouge out his eyes with his sturdy nails.
But Aiden managed to dodge by just a single thread of hair.
Aiden's eyes twitched. "Wha- I don't remember him being this fast."
His hand reached for his sword, but he didn't get the luxury the unsheathing it.
He got hit with a hard punch to the gut.
Pain ripped through his gut. "How the hell is it this strong?!"
Aiden backstepped, saving just enough time to get his head together. He unsheathed his sword.
Pointing it at the monster, he smirked: "You're too naive to think I'm going to die here."
He charged at him, aiming for his throat.
THWACK!
The monster, with his bare hands, managed to redirect the sword.
He then seized Aiden's neck with his hand.
"Hungry… I want to hear your skull crack when I bite down." The inhuman figure mumbled.
His mouth stretched to a size just enough to swallow Aiden's head whole.
"Wha- What do I need to do here?!"
Its jaws itched closer and closer to Aiden's head..
The heat of his breath brushed against his skin.

The monster dropped Aiden on the ground, holding his hand in pain; it was burned to a crisp.
"Wait? Did I do that? Or was that the system?" Aiden thought to himself, his head spinning from confusion.
"Guess you'll have to starve for another day, hmm, maybe another year!" He muttered with a smirk.
A Blue Light Swallowed Aiden's entire body.
The world started shifting, and everything became distorted.
And seconds later, he was gone.
The monster was left there, standing there with an unusable hand, speechless. "Run all you want, little human. You'll see me in every life you crawl into…" He shouted, wiping the saliva off his lips.
Aiden found himself sprawled, standing, looking at the captain of the royal guard. "I'm afraid I cannot do that, you are not my superior, rather, my king is. I'm merely here to protect you on the order of the king."
He repeated the same lines as before.
But Aiden didn't pay mind to his words.
He looked behind him, and the same reaper that had trapped him in his skill was there, killing every single soul he found in his way.
And once again, the reaper has noticed him. Activating his skill, he mumbled, "Come on, look at my eyes, I'll give you everything you ever dreamed of." His eyes were just a pair of darkness, nothing lived in his sockets.
But this time, Aiden didn't make the same mistake.
He looked down at the ground.
"Right now, my aura is still not depleted." He thought to himself, unsheathing his sword.
He lifted his head and looked straight at the reaper's eyes.
"Ah, yes, you've fallen straight into my trap-"
The monster's eyes widened in surprise.
Aiden's eyes were completely shut. He smirked. "You dumb reaper, do you really expect me to fall into the same mistake two times in a row?!" He muttered under his breath. His fingers clenched around the hilt.
He lunged at the reaper.
But the figure successfully managed to block the attack.
But Aiden didn't waver; his determination only grew bigger.
The reaper countered with a slash, aiming for the throat, but Aiden dodged just in time. And struck the reaper's knee with his sword's hilt, managing to bring him down to eye level.
"Guess you need a knee surgery after this, oh wait, you're not even coming out of this fight alive," Aiden said sarcastically, refusing to open his eyes.
He headbutted the reaper.
He lost balance, but was able to regain it just before hitting the ground.
But all that time was just what Aiden needed to drive his sword straight through his hollow skull.
"Wha- How?! I can't believe I'm dying like this! No! I don't want to perish! I don't want to go to hell! Spare me! The reaper cried out, clutching his head in agony.
"Oh, I'm sorry, but you're not surviving today! Have fun in hell!" Aiden laughed. His lips curved into a smile.
But with a desperate final attempt.
The reaper reached for Aiden's left eye. He successfully managed to open it for just a split second.
"You're going down with me-"
He didn't get to finish his words, as Aiden's sword twisted inside his enemy's skull.
But that split was all that he needed.
Aiden started to feel nauseous.
"Shit."
But he wasn't going to let the reaper control him once again. In a last-ditch effort, Aiden pulled out his sword and stabbed his left eye with it.
"I'll do everyth–ing just to n–ot fal–l into yo–ur awfu–l ski–ll!" He mumbled in a low voice, his hand resting on his left side of his face.
