Lucas stared at the door to his class, his eyes flickered with mild interest as he glanced upon the sign.
[A25]
The class that was filled with all the main characters, 'Is this a coincidence or something else. ?'
Lucas wondered quietly.
There was no way that someone like him—an E grade talent with no stand out skills could just happen to be placed in the class filled with protagonists.
Lucas lingered awkwardly at the door, when a sharp voice cut through the corridor. "Hey, doorblock! Could you move it!"
A brown haired girl with milky white skin said, her tone laced with sarcasm. She wore a green turtleneck and a pair of black jeans. She wore a pair of thinly framed glasses, which further emphasized her sharp blue eyes.
"Doors weren't made for standing around like you're guarding some ancient treasure. Unless you're the treasure—spoiler alert: you're not." The girl said with a snarl as she passed by.
Her words left Lucas stunned, as he blinked in silence. "Did you actually get bullied by a girl?" A teasing voice echoed in his head.
"Hey I didn't get bullied!" Lucas objected in his mind, his protests made Bellie laugh more as he violently chuckled.
Lucas let out a sigh as he nudged himself to move along. The room buzzed with noise, murmurs and laughs echoed throughout the room, as the class hummed with energy.
He could overhear the other students comparing each other's potential, the sword art and skills they had.
The more Lucas listened, the more he realised something—school was tiring.
Lucas looked around the class with an expectant gaze, "Now where should I sit?" He muttered to himself slowly, his eyes drifting away.
Lucas walked around the class for an entire minute, but the only place he could find was an empty seat next to the sharp girl he had seen moments ago.
It seemed that the sarcastic girl he had seen before was truly unbearable.
'Melissa….really? Is someone controlling my life?' Lucas asked himself, but in the end he didn't offer up any resistance and slid into the seat.
Melissa glanced at him briefly, her expression vague. Her eyebrows pricked up as she gazed at him indifferently.
"Don't expect me to help you if you slack off." She said bluntly, as Lucas looked at her awkwardly, his expression numb. "Great, I have a bumbling idiot as my partner." She complained to herself as Lucas suppressed his urge to lunge at her.
He put his hands in his pockets and took out an iPod—something he found in a pawn shop while wandering the streets of Ashton City.
Lucas turned the old relic in his hands, the metal back had been dulled with small scratches. He pressed the click wheel and waited.
The screen buffered awake, its screen faintly glitching. Lucas slid his thumb over the wheel, scrolling through a list of pre-downloaded songs.
After a minute, Lucas landed upon a song that drew his interest. His eyebrows raised as his lips slowly curled, 'I didn't think this song would be in here.' He muttered in his mind.
With a soft click of the wheel, he selected the song. The device softly crackled before the melody seeped through the tiny earbuds.
"Back in black.
"I hit the sack."
"..."
Minutes passed by, as Lucas slept silently, the music had lulled him to sleep.
"Attention!" A sharp voice rang from the front of the class, Lucas's eyes fluttered open, the traces of drowsiness on his face was instantly wiped away—one of his better skills.
"Today is your first day, so there won't be anything special planned, but I sure hope you haven't slacked off during the short interval where you were accepted here. How do you expect to graduate from this place if you can't be diligent?"
The instructor announced loudly, slapping her hand on the podium causing a small shockwave to resound in the room.
Lucas was pushed back suddenly, his body colliding against the seat. Except for a select few—Emma, Jin, Amanda, and a couple of other students, almost everyone was pushed back.
Lucas squinted slightly, gazing upon his new instructor—"Donna", he muttered to himself softly. Gods, she was bewitching.
Lucas's heart paced faster as a small warmth arose from his body. She had long black hair which cascaded to her shoulders, and big violet eyes. Pair that with her curvy and tempting figure, she drew everyone's ire.
Every one of her movements was extremely alluring, she was pulling both men and women. The girls leaned forward as their cheeks grew red, while the boys were basically foaming.
Now you might wonder, was Lucas an absolute chad and resisted his impulses and desires.
Nope you were completely wrong, he popped a boner.
Lucas shifted ever so slightly, rubbing his underwear against the seat to hide his massive boner, so that Melissa wouldn't think he was an absolute creep.
But judging by her red face, even she wasn't immune to the Calamity Witch's charm.
Bellie's laughter soon erupted like a thunderclap inside his soul, shaking with so much mirth that Lucas wanted to throttle him.
"I'm going to pee! I'm going to pee!" He wheezed out.
"Oh shut it." Lucas muttered under his breath, as he forced his eyes down. The heat in his cheeks was worse than the heat in his body.
Melissa turned her head sideways and coughed softly. Her face scrunched up as she tried to suppress her reaction.
"I'm sure I don't have to say more as most of you may already know about me"
Donna calmly spoke as she looked around the classroom.
The reddened faces seemed not to affect her, almost as if she witnessed it all the time.
"As it is your first day I won't take too much of your time. I can already see some people who look exhausted in the classroom. Perhaps they did not sleep enough because they were too excited or they trained all night, so I'll make this first session short."
Lucas coughed slightly and removed the earbuds, and placed it back in his pocket. He interlocked his hand together, and placed it on the desk and leaned forward. His fingers covering up everything from her face.
It was a perfect solution.
"Alright first things first, let's take attendance"
Taking out a small tablet, she quickly called out names.
"Rank 1750, Lucas Mikaelson."
Lucas's head snapped up, 'I didn't expect to be last. Well it makes sense, I am an E grade talent after all.' His thoughts raced in his mind as he raised his hand and answered her call.
She nodded softly, before continuing.
"Rank 1749, Ren Dover."
An enthusiastic hand shot up, his voice soft but was also deep at the same time, "Present!"
"..."
"Rank 1, Kevin Voss"
Raising her brow, Donna looked around the classroom and asked once again
"Is Rank 1 Kevin Voss in the classroom?"
Absolute silence. Not even a pin could be heard.
Everyone looked around, but they all shook their head.
Looking at her tablet, Donna frowned. Just as she was about to cross Kevin's name off the list, the door to the classroom slowly opened.
Soon a figure walked out, and instantly the whole room's attention was on him.
Short black hair, deep red eyes, muscular jawline, and well-built body. He was a bane to almost every man.
"Pardon for my tardiness. I had a slight accident before coming here, hence I was not able to make it in time"
Taking a small bow, his eyes never drifted away from Donna's eyes.
Taking a quick look at Kevin, Donna couldn't help but be stunned at his indifferent attitude towards her, who practiced an extremely potent 4-star seductive art.
"Interesting"
Letting out a small grin, she nodded
"Very well find a spot and sit down"
"Thank you"
Nodding his head, Kevin made his way towards the first row on the right side of the classroom and sat down.
Lucas glanced at his perfect looks, his jawline which seemed to cut steel itself and his muscular body and couldn't help but get jealous.
"Damn this world! Damn the protagonists! Damn him!" He cursed under his breath, his teeth gnashing against each other.
