Luck landed softly on the ground as numerous beasts immediately surrounded him.
*Bang**Bang**Bang*...
Gunshots rang out as the seemingly dangerous beats collapsed onto the ground like sock puppets. A small hole on their forehead was the only thing that showed how they died.
Luck glanced at Tara, who winked back.
(Metal and Lightning affinity) Luck said inwardly (Noted).
He turned back to the battle as his shadow began to wriggle behind him.
"Separate"
The shadow obeyed with stunning abruptness as a scythe quickly formed in its hands.
(A scythe is almost like my shepherd's staff, right?) Luck mused as he watched his shadow slice down monsters left and right.
Luck smiled to himself. His shadow was truly amazing
Before his Shadow Figure, which was what he was calling it, could barely cut the wall.
Now it was slaughtering beasts like a butcher. Although it was only truly dominant on F ranks, it was still a plus on Luck's current prowess.
He stepped to the side as an E rank pray mantis struck the space where he previously was.
With a flick of his dagger, he beheaded it almost immediately.
His shadow appeared by his side as it encircled him, leaving behind a clear message: Anyone who comes dies.
Like that, twenty minutes passed as piles of bodies surrounded them, the stench of blood almost palpable in the air.
(My Mana Regen seems to be covering me well) Luck observed with obvious satisfaction, seeing his tank was full once again.
If it wasn't for the bodies surrounding him, one would have thought he hadn't fought at all as he looked as fresh as ever.
Luck smiled coldly. "Since these animals have been so kind enough to give me a break I might as well use it".
If any of the villagers heard what he was thinking, it would be difficult to tell how they would react.
"Gave you a break my ass!) Harry hollered as he struck a grey-furred wolf, flinging several of meters back. " Even animals know that they should avoid bullies".
Luck chuckled. Bully? He was even being nice if u considered it.
Luck's shadow attached itself back to its rightful position as several black whips manifested from it. He was still to weak to use other shadows for his use.
Surprisingly that wasn't the end of his spell. Using Shadow Manipulation, the end of the whips began to distort as the once dull end became as sharp as a knife.

*Flash**Flash**Flash*...
They raced through the air , catching several beasts unaware as their bodies quickly began to bleed from the rapidly accumulating cuts.
Almost immediately, the majority died from blood loss.
(It seem Shadow Manipulation is more handy than I thought) Luck thought with a smile.
It vanished with immediate effect though as he abruptly leapt back, conjuring up a Skeleton Shield.
*Boom*u
The surroundings, along with the shield instantly. Fortunately for Luck though, he managed to escape as a small inconspicuous shadow moved along the grass.
Within the shadow and out of his attacker's sight, Luck ran his Appraisal on his new opponent.
