It didn't take long before the leather bag was filled to the brim. Fortunately, all his cores and carcasses managed to fit into it.
As soon as he was finished, Luck turned as he began to walk through the battlefield slowly towards the village.
The majority of the kids were injured to different degrees, as many were severely wounded to the point of partial limb loss.
Fortunately or unfortunately, they managed to stay conscious as the medical team quickly arrived on the scene.
His teammates soon joined, having collected their loot as they quickly arrived at the village.
They split ways, with each of them headed to their different abodes. It seemed that none of their parents bothered to wait at the edge of the village with the others.
Weirdly enough, none of them felt bad about this. In fact, they seemed excited about this prospect.
For them, it meant their parents had faith in their abilities, which was saying a lot considering their power levels.
Moreover, waiting at the edge of the village to monitor them and step in if they needed help was a bit overkill for existences at their level of strength.
They could be at the edge of the continent and still be able to watch them and jump in when necessary.
Luck and Luke arrived at home. No one seemed to be around, but they were already used to it.
They were the village heads of Clearwater Village. As much as they were isolated from the continent, they somehow still had neighbouring villages.
Their village might not have been the only one to be attacked by the horde. Which meant that the other village heads would have called a meeting as expected.
As they were not bothered by this, the fatigue accumulated from almost sixteen hours of battle hit them in waves, causing them to fall unconscious as they hit the sofa.
....
Luck woke up to find his brother still sleeping. His parents were seemingly still not around as he couldn't sense their mana or presence.
Not that he could before. His parents were one of the few whom he could not only not sense their mana signature but also their presence.
It was baffling. He sat back on the sofa as he stared blankly at the wall.

(I really need to start thinking of names before I get these notifications) Luck thought as he breathed a sigh of exasperation. "I guess Dwayne should be an okay fit for a Golem."

50% increase to all stats after death. Increases by 10% every time he is killed by the same entity.
Luck smirked as he read this.
He basically gained an unkillable heavy hitter that gains strength every time it's killed.
Luck unsummoned Dwayne as he pondered what to do. HE was about to start absorbing beast cores when a thought crossed his mind.
(I gained access to a 'skill shop' as one of my rewards) Luck thought to himself. He was honestly confused, as with all his research on awakeners, he had never heard the term 'Skill Shop'.
"Skill Shop"
