Chapter 13 - [13] Chidori Stream... Cough, I Mean [Transmutation Type: Electricity]

Though inwardly grumbling, Bisky still followed along.

Aoki led her to the forest outside the town.

The two stopped deep in the woods.

"Elemental transmutation types are actually quite rare," Bisky said with her hands behind her back, shaking her head. "Most transmuters alter their aura's hardness and toughness—only a few deal with elements."

"In the past century, only you and the Zoldyck family's Killua have developed electricity-based transmutation."

At this point, Bisky wore a reminiscent expression.

After pondering for a moment, she nodded affirmatively. "That's right, just you two."

"The last one was 120 years ago—only a name remains, with no detailed records."

"What a pity the Zoldycks don't sell knowledge," Bisky couldn't help but shake her head again.

If they had Killua's insights, Aoki might quickly master [Electricity].

Unfortunately, that path was closed.

They'd have to start from scratch and figure it out slowly.

"Prepare yourself mentally, Aoki," Bisky shook her head. "Normal development speed is measured in years."

"Even if you're a genius, it'll take months."

"To fully master it would require at least three to five years—and that's an optimistic estimate."

Bisky had been talking at length, but received no response.

She couldn't help but glance at Aoki.

To her surprise, Aoki seemed lost in thought, completely tuning her out.

"Hey!"

Bisky glared at him angrily—here she was, earnestly teaching, and this guy had the nerve to zone out!

"Stop daydreaming!"

"I'm teaching you how to develop Nen abilities!"

"Hey! Aoki!"

Aoki continued staring into the distance, as if he hadn't heard her.

Bisky was so frustrated she simply crossed her arms and stepped aside.

Fine.

She wanted to see how well Aoki could develop his abilities without guidance from an experienced mentor like her.

...

'For lightning, I have excellent references to imitate.'

Aoki's mind was entirely focused inward.

One after another, figures surfaced in his thoughts.

Hatake Kakashi…

The Fourth Raikage, A…

The Fifth Raikage, Darui…

These individuals had already perfected lightning-based techniques—all he had to do was emulate them.

With this realization,

Aok's eyes glazed over.

He had unlocked the First Stage of the Gene Lock.

Instantly, the already familiar flow of aura became even more fluid and effortless.

"Huh?"

Bisky, standing nearby, let out a surprised sound.

To her senses, Aoki had suddenly become extremely dangerous.

Cold, violent, ruthless…

A savage, bloodthirsty aura radiated from him.

"What's going on?" Bisky frowned, her hair standing on end as a chill ran down her spine.

It felt as though, if she didn't flee immediately, she would die at Aoki's hands.

But how was that possible?

Bisky couldn't help but inwardly refute the thought.

Her strength was among the top tier of Hunters, second only to the Five Great Nen Users.

Could Aoki really pose a threat to her?

She refused to believe it.

Zzzzt!

A sharp crackle of electricity suddenly filled the air.

Thin streaks of blue-white lightning flickered across Aoki's body, growing denser and brighter by the second.

Before long, torrents of electricity cascaded around him like a waterfall.

Aoki stood draped in a curtain of lightning, his entire body crackling with energy.

"That's…!?" Bisky's eyes widened in shock.

Screeeech!

The furious cry of a bird rang out once more.

In Aoki's right hand, vast amounts of electricity condensed, forming a blazing white orb of plasma.

Whoosh!

Aoki vanished.

The next instant, he reappeared fifty meters away, his hand outstretched.

The white-hot plasma elongated like a spear, violently piercing through a massive boulder ahead.

CRACK!

The enormous rock exploded.

Countless smaller fragments scattered across the ground, charred black and trailing wisps of smoke.

"High heat, extreme speed, piercing force?"

Bisky stared in disbelief. "He's using lightning to stimulate his body, achieving ultra-high speed."

"At the same time, the plasma provides scorching heat and penetration."

"Once unleashed, it's like a spear—brutally impaling any enemy in its path!"

Her jaw dropped.

This technique already bore traces of both Manipulation and Enhancement.

Though not fully developed, it was practically at the threshold of mastery!

"Aoki, you—" Bisky started to say.

Zzzzzzt!

Aoki didn't stop. Instead, he raised his plasma-wreathed hand and swung it lightly.

Swish!

A razor-sharp bolt of lightning shot straight forward.

Instantly, it pierced through several towering trees, leaving behind blackened, smoldering holes—the edges of the wood completely carbonized.

"Emi... Emission type?!" Bisky's eyes widened even more as she couldn't help but exclaim in surprise.

Then, Aoki continued to mimic other techniques.

Chidori Blade!

Chidori Sharp Spear!

Chidori Senbon!

Chidori: Earth Flow!

Chidori Stream! (Electric currents expanded outward from his body, forming an electric field)

...

Bisky was utterly dumbfounded, completely stunned.

She never expected Aoki to develop a series of techniques without any reference.

"Is he even human?"

Bisky couldn't help but say, "I think I understand a bit of Kite's feelings now."

Witnessing someone who couldn't use Nen awaken on the spot.

And mastering the Four Major Principles and advanced techniques without any guidance.

No wonder Kite's report was filled with such intense wording.

If Bisky were to write a report now, her words would be just as fervent!

"Bisky, Miss Cookie."

Aoki exhausted his aura, exiting the Gene Lock state, and wearily walked toward Bisky.

"Coming, coming." Bisky summoned her Nen beast, Miss Cookie.

Aoki immediately lay down, allowing Miss Cookie to massage him.

He felt a pair of dexterous hands moving across his body, massaging every muscle.

Aoki closed his eyes in comfort.

Soon, he drifted into sleep.

Half an hour later.

Aoki woke up right on time, checked his body, and a look of joy flashed in his eyes.

The backlash from the Gene Lock was gone!

This exceeded his expectations.

He thought it would only reduce the backlash, but it completely eliminated it.

'I can go all out now!'

Aoki thought excitedly.

"Don't get your hopes up too much," Bisky poured cold water on his excitement, saying, "The human body's recovery has its limits."

"Each person can only receive three massages a day."

"Any more, and the body will break down."

Hearing this, Aoki was momentarily taken aback but didn't feel disappointed.

After all, it wasn't the real Main God's restoration. Being able to have three sessions a day already satisfied him greatly.
