She didn't believe a word of Aoki's nonsense.
It hadn't even been five minutes since she walked over—how could he have already developed his Nen ability?
And of the most difficult specialization type, no less?
"Do you think I'm easy to fool?" Bisky rolled her eyes.
Aoki didn't respond. Instead, he channeled his aura, pouring his will into it.
Zzzt!
Tiny blue arcs of electricity crackled across his skin, flickering and dancing.
"Huh?" Bisky froze.
Zzzzt!
The electric currents intensified, growing denser and more numerous.
Within moments, Aoki's entire body was wreathed in dazzling, blinding electricity, as if engulfed in a storm of lightning.
He raised his hand, and a massive surge of current gathered in his palm, coalescing into a searing white orb of plasma.
Screeeech!!
The plasma emitted a deafening noise, like the cries of a thousand birds.
Lightning Release: Chidori…
Cough, wrong franchise—this was [Transmutation · Electricity]!
"You actually developed a Nen ability?!" Bisky gasped in shock.
The blazing white plasma in Aoki's hand sent shivers down her spine, every hair on her body standing on end.
Her instincts screamed that even if she transformed into her muscular form, she wouldn't survive this attack.
"And not just any ability—Transmutation-type lightning! Its offensive power and lethality are absolutely top-tier!" Bisky stared at Aoki in disbelief.
She could already imagine how terrifying his combat prowess would become with electricity at his disposal.
For someone specializing in combat, this was undoubtedly one of the strongest Transmutation-type Nen abilities.
"It suits you well, Aoki," Bisky said sincerely. "If you refine it properly, your strength will skyrocket."
Aoki nodded in agreement.
Lightning was undeniably one of nature's most formidable elemental forces.
With this power, his combat capabilities would receive an astonishing boost.
"Wait a second!"
Bisky suddenly realized something was off and glanced down at the water cup on the ground.
The five-system transformations on the cup hadn't fully faded yet.
Her expression twisted dramatically as she shouted, "Transmutation-type, my ass! You're a specialization-type Nen user—since when could you use Transmutation abilities?!"
"Who says a specialization-type can't use Transmutation abilities?" Aoki countered calmly.
"Bullshit!"
Bisky couldn't hold back anymore. "Specialization is the most troublesome category! You can only master your own system—training in others is so inefficient it's practically useless!"
She had almost fallen for it.
This brat was clearly a specialization-type, so how the hell did he pull off a Transmutation-type ability?
It made no sense!
"No, this is my specialization-type Nen ability," Aoki said, dispersing the plasma in his hand. "I call it [The Complete One]."
"[The Complete One]?" Bisky's eyebrows shot up.
Just the name alone carried an air of ambition and grandeur—as if it sought to eliminate all weaknesses and achieve conceptual perfection.
But in reality, perfection didn't exist.
Every person, every species, had their own flaws and strengths.
That was the law of natural evolution.
"Yes, [The Complete One]."
Aoki nodded slowly and said, "I don't possess a unique Specialization-type Nen ability, but I can learn Nen abilities from the other five categories."
"Enhancement, Transmutation, Manipulation, Conjuration, Emission..."
"These five systems—as long as I study, experience, understand, and experiment with them enough—I can develop or mimic them."
As he spoke, a complex emotion flickered in his eyes.
In the infinite worldview, Nen abilities were considered a premature manifestation of the embryonic form of the Light of the Soul.
And the Light of the Soul was the embodiment of one's inner self.
It could also be called the landscape of the mind.
Aoki had long since clarified his own heart.
Unlike other Nen users who painstakingly sought to develop powerful Nen abilities,
Quite the opposite!
Aoki believed any Nen ability was irrelevant.
Because his path was the Gene Lock system.
Nen abilities, as a supernatural system, were merely tools to assist in unlocking the Gene Locks before the fourth stage.
This was the common belief among Reincarnators—the Gene Lock was the core!
Supernatural systems were just means to an end—as long as they worked and were useful.
'At the early fourth stage, one can absorb the genes of myriad races and deeply optimize oneself.'
'At the mid-fourth stage, the Light of the Soul can forcibly manifest from one of the four domains—[Matter], [Energy], [Time], or [Space]—defying physical laws.'
'At the high fourth stage, atomic-level precision manipulation allows free use of the four fundamental forces.'
Thoughts flashed through Aoki's mind.
As for the fifth stage, it went without saying.
Saints could simulate ninety-nine percent of supernatural systems—they toyed with the rules themselves.
'Not to mention, deep down, I actually look down on Nen abilities.'
'No, I look down on all supernatural systems.'
'Without the protection of the Great Light Sphere's Main God, any supernatural system might become incompatible in another world, rendering it useless.'
Aoki couldn't help but inwardly laugh bitterly.
He saw Nen abilities as something disposable, something to be discarded at any moment, with no reverence whatsoever.
To other Nen users, this would undoubtedly be heresy.
"The Complete One? That's a terrifying Nen ability."
Biscuit's mouth hung open in astonishment. "Sacrificing immediate effects for nearly limitless growth potential!"
"Combined with your monstrous talent, Aoki..."
"Given time, you might truly become The Complete One, mastering all systems!"
She was utterly awestruck.
In a way, this Nen ability was as pure as it could get.
Like a person baring their soul with complete honesty.
It perfectly embodied the essence of the Shingen-ryu school!
'The Chairman was right.'
Bisky gazed at Aoki, her heart surging with emotion.
'This guy will definitely surpass the Chairman and become the strongest Nen user ever!!'
Seeing Bisky lost in thought, Aoki stood up and left.
He went into the bathroom to freshen up.
After changing into a clean jacket, he called out to Bisky, "Let's go, Biscuit."
"Wait, where to?" Bisky snapped out of her daze, puzzled.
"Training."
"Training?"
"What else did you think I invited you here to guide me for?" Aoki said bluntly. "It's all for your Cookie-chan!"
Bisky: "..."
So I wasn't here to guide at all—I was just here to provide labor!
