Chapter 11 - [11] As Expected, I'm a Specialist

"That Aoki Hiroshi the Chairman mentioned?"

Miss Bisky rubbed her chin, recalling the phone call she received last night, and couldn't help but grumble:

"Not only did he awaken under malice, but right after awakening, he mastered the Four Major Principles and advanced techniques without any guidance, and even defeated a cat girl of my caliber without a scratch."

"No matter how you look at it, that's just too absurd!"

"Even that monster Ging wasn't this freakish."

Bisky found it hard to believe.

When she received the Chairman's call last night, she even wondered if the old man had gone senile.

Even innate Nen users weren't this outrageous.

And what's more, what's left to teach such a freak?

He's already figured out all the techniques he needs to learn!

But Netero said Aoki hadn't yet developed his own unique Nen ability and hoped she could guide him.

After some thought, Bisky agreed.

"Well, after all, [Hatsu] isn't something so easily mastered."

"Even a genius would need a long time to figure it out without knowing the right methods."

"Not to mention, [Hatsu] is deeply tied to one's will. Those who don't understand their own hearts can't develop a unique Nen ability."

Bisky crossed her arms and nodded repeatedly.

Among the Four Major Principles, [Hatsu] is the technique for developing one's unique Nen ability.

Nen users infuse their emotions, will, desires, and aspirations into their aura, triggering a qualitative transformation to form their unique Nen ability.

But those who don't understand their own thoughts or evade their true selves can't complete [Hatsu].

This is where a wise mentor steps in to provide guidance.

"Hehe, let me, Bisky, guide this young man!" she declared proudly, grinning.

Though she appeared small, youthful, and adorable.

Her true age was 57—old enough to be Aoki's grandmother.

"Let's go! Let's go!"

Bisky replied to the Association via phone, confirming her acceptance of the request, then packed her bags and set off for the NGL Autonomous Region.

...

...

NGL Autonomous Region.

In a luxury suite at a hotel near the Association.

Aoki placed a cup in front of him.

He filled it with water, then placed a leaf he'd plucked from the roadside on its surface.

"Water Divination."

"A method to determine which Nen category one's abilities lean toward."

"Increased water volume, taste change, color change, crystallization change, and leaf movement correspond to Enhancement, Transmutation, Conjuration, Emission, and Manipulation respectively."

Aoki wrapped his hands around the cup, releasing his aura.

The next moment.

The clear water in the cup overflowed, emitting a sweet fragrance, turned golden in color, formed internal crystals, while the leaves began swimming like fish.

All five Nen system transformations appeared simultaneously!

"As expected, I'm a Specialist," Aoki said without surprise.

When changes beyond the five basic systems appear in the cup, it indicates the Specialist category.

His aura had simultaneously triggered all five transformations in the cup.

This didn't belong to any single system, but to the unique Specialist category.

"Also, peeping isn't a good habit, Miss Bisky," Aoki suddenly looked up toward the window.

Three hundred meters away, atop a building.

Bisky was holding binoculars, secretly observing Aoki through the window.

But before she could watch for long.

Aoki suddenly looked up, his gaze directly meeting hers, his lips moving as he spoke.

Through lip reading.

Bisky understood he was telling her to stop spying.

"Eh!?"

This shocked her greatly, "That's nearly three hundred meters away!"

"His En range is that large?"

"You've got to be kidding me?"

Bisky couldn't believe it.

Yet Aoki's words were clearly directed at her.

Moreover, he'd accurately called her by name, forcing Bisky to accept the truth.

"Monster!"

She sighed deeply and lowered her binoculars.

She'd planned to secretly observe and assess what kind of person Aoki was.

Never expecting to be discovered immediately.

"Seriously, even top-tier Nen users only have about fifty meters of En range," Bisky muttered as she walked toward Aoki's hotel.

"Even that old geezer Zeno only reaches three hundred meters."

"But Zeno has trained for most of his lifetime."

"How can a newly awakened rookie like you match Zeno's range?"

Bisky kept grumbling, growing more exasperated the more she thought about it.

Her own En only extended about a hundred meters.

What kind of freak was this Aoki Hiroshi?

...

Soon after.

A knock sounded at the door.

"Come in."

Aoki said without turning around.

Creak.

The door opened, revealing a petite, adorable golden-haired girl.

"Hey! I'm here to teach you Nen, the least you could do is open the door properly!" Miss Bisky complained as she entered.

Aoki glanced at her, "I'll double your payment."

"Really?" Bisky's displeasure instantly vanished, replaced by delight.

But then she felt this compromised her image, her expression turning awkward.

"Ahem, let's first examine your Nen ability."

Bisky cleared her throat and walked seriously to the cup, "I didn't get a proper look through the binoculars... What's this?"

She stared at the cup, momentarily stunned.

All five system transformations were present simultaneously.

"A Specialist then?"

Bisky nodded in understanding, "That explains why a genius like you needs a teacher."

"Specialist Nen abilities are indeed harder to develop than the other five systems."

Everything suddenly made sense to Bisky.

Developing unique Nen abilities is highly subjective.

Even Aoki, who had mastered all techniques without a teacher, would get stuck at this step.

"No, I don't need your help in developing my Nen ability," Aoki shook his head.

Bisky looked puzzled and asked, "Why?"

"Because I've already developed my Nen ability," Aoki replied calmly.

"When?" Bisky asked in surprise.

"Just as you were walking over," Aoki answered.

Bisky: "..."

This guy is so pretentious!

A vein throbbed on Bisky's forehead.
