Chapter 6 - Chapter Six

"So what do we do, Mister?" Violet asked looking at the camera feed

Victor smiled, "Don't worry. There's another way out."

He picked up their bags and led them toward a bookshelf. Victor pushed the shelf aside and revealed a door.

"Why?" they asked

Victor grinned, "Dunno. The previous owner made it. I left it in case of emergencies, we'll have a quick exit"

"So. Where will we go next?" Alexander wondered

Victor smirked, " Weren't your curious? The last living family members is is Eastside Hospital"

He watched the children's eyes spark with determination and laughed heartily. The door led downstairs to a garage filled with cars.

"Pick one." He offered walking to the rack of keys

"BLUE!" Alexander smiled

Violet frowned, "WHITE"

"So, light blue. Come one." Victor nodded grabbing the keys

They entered the light blue sports car, buckled the children tightly and started the ignition. Victor drove out into the road, passed Vanessa's car and briefly glanced through his black tinted windows toward her.

The thirty minutes journey was a long since the Hospital was a the only one that wasn't in the town's boundaries. After fifteen minutes of trees, the children marveled at the large decorative gate and label nearby: Eastside Hospital, a home like no other.

"Listen here, you are now my beloved children who have dyed your hair. We are here to met one, Elizabeth Moor, our long lost aunt." Victor informed

Alexander smirked, "Trust us, they won't suspect a thing."

After parking the car, they went to the reception and Victor wore a warm smile.

"Excuse me. Is there a lady name Elizabeth?" Victor asked

The woman at he corner answered, "Surname, please. And can I know who you are and the purpose of your visit?"

"Ah." Victor took out his phone

Violet interrupted, "It's Elizabeth Moor...our aunt!"

"Yes, my father hid it from us and we just want to meet. Just for a moment." Victor smiled

The receptionist smiled brightly and gave them a map attached to the brochure of the hospital. She told them how happy she was that Ms. Moor had family.

"Let's go." Victor grinned

The walked to room: 285 and met a woman whose bed was near a bed. Her gaze was fixed outside and Victor sat on a chair nearby.

"Hello, Ms. Moor." Victor began

The woman didn't look at them. Her hair grey and barely any muscle on her bones revealed the shape of the bones beneath.

"We stay at your old house." Victor told " These two have been curious about the shed, they keep taking about some strange things and I'm hear for some insight."

The woman was now looking at him pale blue eyes were staring daggers into his. Victor's deep voice echoed throughout the room ignoring her reaction.

"So Ms. Moor...what's in that shed? I want to deal with the problem at the root." He told

Elizabeth spoke, "Don't...don't go into that shed."

"We need what's in that shed." Violet interrupted

The elder woman screamed, " LEAVE!! Don't put a target on your back and leave as fast as you can."

Victor picked up Violet before she spoke more.

She was balanced on his shoulder and Victor smiled, "Until next time, Ms. Moor."

"LET ME GO!" Violet huffed

Victor sighed, "She won't tell us anything. No need to push her."

"How do you know that?" Alexander frowned

He answered, "Her eyes. Something serious must happen or else she's taking her secret to the grave."

Alexander looked around while Violet and Victor spoke to each other. It was quiet...no nurses quietly moving place to place but as though no one was here.

"Isn't it too quiet?" Alexander asked

Victor countered, "It's an elder hospital and accommodation. It's supposed to be quiet."

Alexander opened the brochure on the schedule section.

"Three thirty in the afternoon on Wednesday...pill time. There isn't a single nurse here." Alexander told

stomp...stomp....

"So...who's that?" Victor frowned

A voice echoed softly, "Young lions...where are you?"

"This way...there's a fire exit." Alexander whispered

The voice exclaimed happily, "There you are!"

"Run." Victor ordered

The children dashed in front of him with Victor was behind. He pulled nearby furniture into the hallway. Alexander led the way and took a sharp right and the exit was in front of them.

The voice echoed, "We just met. You can't leave just yet..."

Alexander pushed back and looked at the hammer that cracked the ground where he once stood. A man with a kind smile was holding the weapon and his green eyes were filled with happiness.

"I'm Jeffrey. Let's get to know each other." he beamed

Victor pulled his collared back and jabbed a needle into Jeffrey's approaching hand but the metal snapped. It only made a tiny dot on his tanned skin and he frowned deeply.

"Who are you?" He smiled

Victor smiled, "A really big lion. Can't you see hos majestic I look?"

He sprayed hand sanitizer spray into Jeffrey's face and swiftly took his lighter from his pocket. Victor light the gas ablaze and the enemy screamed loudly.

Violet tried to fire petals at him but they wavered and the enemy swatted them away. Jeffery looked at them angrily.

Alexander created icicles and propelled it toward the man. Although he hesitated as well the second it was about to hit his head and Jeffrey used them to quench the flames on his face.

Victor picked up the two children placing them on both his shoulders and ran. Violet and Alexander were swallowed up by frustration. It was easy fighting the moving armor what was wrong with her!

They managed to shake off Jeffery and hid in a room. Only the sound of their breathing and echoes of Jeffrey rampaging around.

"Why....why?" Violet muttered in panic "I thought...I..."

Victor pulled their heads so they were looking directing into his eyes. He saw the fear in theirs and wished he could tuck them away somewhere safe yet reality was a cruel mistress.

"You're good kids. It's not working because...you don't want to hurt him." he whispered like a secret

Violet wanted to denial but the thought of such an action made her body run cold.....The word "I can't" repeated in her head like a broken record. Just what...why did she have to do this?

Alexander frowned, "Before we fought moving armor, we can-"

"No...but I can." Victor told

Alexander couldn't...he just can't imagine his creation stabbing the man. He knew that he was going to hurt them but....

Victor pulled the children into tight hug and determination blazed in his eyes. They gripped onto his clothes like a lifeline

"I saw what you did back there. You need to trust me and make me some weapons." Victor told "We're getting out of here even if we need to bring this hospital to the ground."

"Found you...."
