Chapter 1 - König.

A strong storm washed over the Kingdom of Fiore. Wetting the streets, people, animals, and a man standing in an opening of a forest. He was dressed in a white double-breasted trench coat, white pants, boots, and a long black cloak. On his hip was a long silver broadsword with a five-pointed cross engraved on its hilt. His black and blonde hair was drooping over his face due to the rain, covering his unusual eyes. Instead of having one pupil like most people, both of his eyes had 3 pupils.

"I can see everything," He looked at a nearby tree, "In six days that tree is going to be cut down." He then looked at a deer that was looking at him through the treeline, "In one month that deer will be slaughtered for its meat."

"I have no recollection of how I arrived here. All I have are memories. Memories of leading a powerful army against…shinigami? And memories of simply getting ready for school. Why do these memories differ? Who am I?" The man paced in circles repeatedly asking himself that question.

"I'm aware of my name, König. But nothing else comes to mind. No father, no mother, no country of origin, nothing. It's like…I was just born today." König sighed and shook his head, "My questions will be answered. Perhaps not now, but in the distant future."

"If I stay here a red-haired boy will find me in 3 days. But I'd rather not wait on him, so I will travel into the city nearby." König said to himself before he remembered what his eyes looked like, "On second thought, I should find a way to cover these eyes of mine."

König opened his palm and a flash of blue energy was born. This was reishi. He could feel this energy wasn't native to the world he currently inhabited, so he was a bit confused on how he could use it.

"I will figure that out soon." König said as he shaped the reishi in his palm into a blue blindfold. He covered his eyes and watched as all potential futures vanished from his vision.

"The Almighty is very dependent on my vision, I know this. But I didn't think it would completely shut me out the moment I closed my eyes." König said to himself with a faint smile. He figured that The Almighty should still work in some capacity, so he thought of the deer again and saw every possible future for that deer.

"I see. So when my eyes are closed, instead of seeing every future for everything, I can only see every future for something I'm focusing on." König then began his walk to the nearest city he saw a future of arriving at, Magnolia.

"I can use this travel time to discover more about myself and the power I hold." König said faintly before stopping his tracks.

"Come out. I will not ask a second time." König's tone was frosty. He drew his blade and waited for his assailants to show themselves. He gave them 30 seconds and within that time, no one revealed themselves.

"So be it." König had a faint smile on his face once again. He could use this opportunity to test himself against the natives of this world. He preemptively moved his head to the right, dodging a blue bolt of energy. He then stepped to the side dodging a large spike of earth. König then swung his blade at the air behind him.

"AAAHHHHHH!!!" A man screamed in agony from his arm being removed. His body was enveloped in shadows but they were slipping off due to him losing focus.

"I gave you a chance. It would've been wise for you to take that chance, now you are without an arm." König practically mocked the man, "But be glad, I am not without mercy." König covered the man's stump with reishi before knocking him out.

"Now, will you three relax or will I have to disarm you as well?" König asked the two bandits in front of him as well as the one in the air. The bandits looked at each other for a moment before deciding not to lose their lives.

The bandit in the sky floated down and immediately prostrated himself in front of König, "PLEASE FORGIVE US!"

A faint smile crept onto König's face. He knew the bandit leader would surrender after disarming his subordinate. The outcome would've been the same if he had killed him, but König felt no desire to needlessly shed blood.

"You have earned my forgiveness. As a thank you for not continuing your assault, I will return your subordinate's arm." König walked over to the unconscious man and touched his chest. König released a piece of his soul and placed it within the man. His arm was instantly healed striking awe into the bandits.

"Be well. I hope you will not continue this way of life after this encounter." König said as he walked away. As he left, the bandits couldn't help but gulp in fear. They fucked with the wrong guy today. This affected them so much that they decided to stop being criminals and try and lead a life worth something more.

König on the other hand was smiling. He could feel a piece of his soul within that man and soon the seed he placed will begin to sprout. König knew that once that seed bore fruit the man would die, but that was the debt he had to pay for König not killing him then and there.

It wasn't needless bloodshed now, it was a purposeful death and König felt the man should be proud to die in such an honorable way. The honor of becoming a stepping stone for König in this world.

König continued to walk until the sun was beginning to set. At his current travel speed, he would reach Magnolia in two days so he wanted to speed up this process.

"Hirenyaku. A movement technique that hails from the memories of the king within me. By gathering reishi under my feet, I can travel at speeds the human eye cannot follow." König did exactly that and began zooming through the forest. All that was left in his wake were strong winds and an ear-piercing noise.

Within an hour, König was looking at Magnolia from a nearby hill. He didn't have any money to enter the city legally and he knew that down the line him being there illegally would cause him some trouble. So, König pointed his finger at his abdomen and blasted a hole in himself.

"BLEGH!" König vomited up blood and held his side in agony, "My first serious injury was inflicted upon me by me, how funny."

König then tore his cloak and dirtied his clothes with the mud beneath him. With this, he was ready. König slowly limped to the gate and made sure to lose as much blood as possible. Once he was close to the gate and in earshot of the guards, he yelled, "SOMEONE, PLEASE HELP ME!"

The guard at the gate quickly ran to König's aid, "Sir!" He saw that König was bleeding profusely and quickly supported him up.

"T-Thank you…" König passed out but not before lining his wound with reishi, so the bleeding could slow down.

[Magnolia Hospital]

When König awoke, he noticed his blindfold had vanished. He made another one and surveyed the room he was in.

"I'm in Magnolia hospital and the nurse will walk through the door in five seconds." König muttered to himself and in five seconds a nurse walked in.

"I'm glad to see that you're awake sir. I will let the doctor know and he'll be here shortly." The nurse said as she bowed and left. A faint smile crept on König's face again. His plan had worked, in all of the futures he could see, no one ever suspects his story.
