König wiped his tears and slowly set Henry's body down. His eyes were full of rage as he walked to the front of the house. Before he could leave though, Connie grabbed his sleeve with tearful eyes.
"L-Let me come with you Mr. Wundermann!" She cried as König brought her in for a hug, "Unfortunately, I can't. Putting you in harm's way is the last thing I want to do."
She sobbed heavily into his chest and all König could do was pat her head. When she stopped crying, König made a medallion out of reishi.
"Crush this if you're in any danger. I will immediately come to your aid, I promise." He said with a faint smile. Connie nodded and sniffled, "Be safe Mr. Wundermann! If-If you die too, then I'll never forgive you!"
König nodded, "I wouldn't forgive myself either." His cape fluttered in the wind as he dashed away. Just as he reached the edge of Magnolia he abruptly stopped running and leaned his body to the left.
Milliseconds later, a giant slash was carved into the earth.
"Hoh? I've never had someone dodge my magic before. On top of dealing with Cecily's Soul Hunter in such a short amount of time, no wonder the council is interested in you ." A haughty voice came from the sky and a woman in knight's armor descended.
König could sense 3 other people not far behind her and he drew his blade in anger, "You must be the people behind that monster! I'll slaughter all of you!" Before the woman could reply, König used Hirenyaku to close the distance between them and held his blade high in the air.
The woman was surprised but she still managed to react in time and released another slash attack to counter König. Her slash and his blade collided creating a strong shockwave before sending König flying. He crashed into the ground and rolled for a moment before stopping himself with his blade.
'This woman is strong. That must mean her companions are just as strong or even stronger! If I used my full power I think I could beat her, but all four of them at the same time? I'm afraid that spells my demise.' König thought to himself as he slowly stood up. His Blut Vene snaked across his body and he coated his blade and body in a thin layer of reishi for added defense and offense.
"Getting serious are we? Then I shall do the same, try not to die." The woman chuckled as she drew the katana on her hip. As soon as she drew it, a massive amount of mana exploded out of her birthing a powerful gust of wind.
König was shocked, 'If beating her before was a possibility now those chances just got crushed! She is by far the strongest opponent I've faced. I have to take this seriously, or I'll lose my head.'
The woman took a step forward and she was already standing in front of König with her blade coming down. König could barely react but managed to block a portion of her attack.
*CLANG*
"BLEGH!" Still, her blade reached his body and she landed a devastating vertical slash.
"Aww, I was trying to cut you in half. Guess your reflexes and whatever those blue lines are saved you." She giggled as König fell to his knees.
'I saw her coming but I could barely react! Who is this woman?!'
"W-Who are you…" König weakly asked and the woman made a peace sign by her face while standing on one leg.
"Third in command of the 1st Custody Unit, Lollipop Mars! My team and I are here to take you in Mister mysterious wizard man!" Lollipop theatrically explained.
"Take me in for what?! Killing a slave trader and a potential buyer?!" König yelled and Lollipop gave him a thumbs down.
"Perhaps wherever you're from that's allowed but here in Ishgar, there are laws and rules one has to follow. The Magic Council believes that your wanton actions of justice may lead people to think they don't have to follow the law as long as they are doing something "good". That is not the case and we are here to nip that in the bud." Lollipop said in a serious tone. König gripped his sword in anger and swung upwards at her.
She easily side-stepped his attack and kicked him in the face. He rolled along the ground before crashing into a building. Blood gushed out of his wound so he stopped the bleeding by filling in the space with reishi.
He wobbled to his feet and tightened his grip around his blade, 'I have to win!'
He used hirenyaku to speed out of the house and tried to catch Lollipop off guard. She looked in his direction and sent two invisible slashes at him.
'I may not be able to react to her, but I can still see her attacks!' König exclaimed as he dispersed her slashes and pressed on. Lollipop had a small grin of amusement on her face and allowed him to get close.
König wrapped his blade in blue fire and raised it over his head, "SANKT KLINGE!"
Lollipop's eyes widened and she quickly jumped out of the way.
*BOOM*
König's attack created a huge ravine in the ground. The grin of amusement grew larger on Lollipop's face, 'If I didn't dodge that attack I would've lost an arm or worse. How interesting you are Mister Wizard Man.'
"You are strong but unfortunately for you," Lollipop held her katana to her side and got into a low stance. In a blink, she was behind König and sheathed her sword, "I am stronger."
"BLEGH!" A deep X slash appeared on König's chest making him fall to his knees. He was bewildered, 'Did she get even faster?! I couldn't even see a future where she attacked me!'
He felt her sharp, cold blade press against his neck as she spoke, "Concede or lose your head. Our mission here is not to kill you but I was advised that if you put up too much resistance I can do as I please."
"Is this the justice you strive to preserve?! Justice that incarcerates a man who saved the lives of countless young girls?! Justice that takes an innocent doctor's life and leaves his daughter an orphan?! IS THAT JUSTICE?!" König questioned in rage as his spiritual pressure exploded out of his body, sending Lollipop flying back a few steps.
"SANKT BOGEN!" He yelled as a giant bow fired a giant blue arrow at Lollipop from above. She reacted quickly and cut the arrow in half only to be kicked in the gut by König.
*BOOM*
"You insufferable ant!" She roared as the house she was launched into was diced into oblivion. König held his hand out and another arrow was fired right next to him. He gripped the arrow and it transformed into a crystalline blade.
He dual-wielded his sword and the arrow as he dashed forward. He and Lollipop clashed, creating a giant explosion.
"I'll kill you first and then the rest of your pathetic squad!" König yelled as he kicked Lollipop away. She gracefully flipped in the air and landed on top of a building. The full moon illuminated her figure giving her the appearance of an ethereal Goddess.
"Evisceration: Kai." She mumbled as she lightly swung her sword. König felt the most danger he's ever felt in his life and quickly made several thick walls of reishi. Instantly, all six walls were split in half and König saw his left arm floating in the air.
"W-What?" Those were his last words before Lollipop knocked him out. She sighed and sheathed her sword, "Binding Magic: Level 5."
A golden straitjacket materialized on König and she sat on top of him. A few minutes later the rest of her squad arrived. They saw the destruction and Lollipop's disheveled look, causing Cecily to grin.
"Did he give you a hard time, Cap?" She asked and Lollipop rolled her eyes, "If he fought one of you he probably would've won. I had to use a spell for the first time in forever."
Lollipop stood up and threw König at Kan Guy, "Mission complete, now let's head back."
