"Brother Xu… you're leaving?" Jennifer Sler asked, stunned. The way he had handled the enemy was seamless.
"Yes, Jenny. Brother Xu is truly a master," Saul said.
"That's right," Sol added, thinking of future proceedings. "When the time comes, Jenny, this matter will be handed over to the Eagle Nation Certificate."
"Thor, where are you headed?" Jennifer asked.
"I'm going back to the Divine Domain Immortal Palace. I must report the Dark Elves' situation to my father," Saul replied.
"Understood," Jennifer said.
Thor then disappeared in a glimmer of light. The chaos of the astronaut sneak attack in the Fog Capital had come to a sudden end.
Soon, the Eagle Nation secured the battlefield, and Jennifer Sler submitted a brief report of events. The people of Wudu breathed a collective sigh of relief—the world had not ended.
New City – Inside a Courtyard House
After cleaning up his fishing rod from the Fog, Xu Fu returned home with the help of his portal skills. The starlight of the black-robed pickets was already waiting for him.
Since Xu Fu had killed the brutal Dark Elf Commander, Starlight, a hero-worshipper, naturally came to see him.
"Xu Fu, do you know? There was a huge incident in the Fog… like an alien sneak attack!" she said, eyes wide. "TikTok is flooded with short videos about it, and Hammer Gosol was fighting on the other side."
"The fighting has ended," Xu Fu replied calmly.
"Ended?" Starlight was stunned. "Why? Where did it end? The reports just came in… and the aliens' sneak attack hasn't even been fully confirmed."
In this, Starlight was not wrong. The Dark Elves had invaded the Fog Capital, Hammer Gosol had battled them, and then Xu Fu himself had eliminated the Dark Elf forces. It all happened incredibly fast.
From her perspective, Xu Fu's return from the Fog seemed almost instantaneous. Britain had yet to announce or even acknowledge what had happened.
"Starlight, look closer at the news from the other side of the Fog," Xu Fu said with a small smile.
"Oh… wait." Starlight returned to the couch, checked her computer, and a moment later said, "Indeed, Xu Fu! The red light in the rumored Fog has dissipated, as if Britain is about to announce… something."
She was surprised—Xu Fu's words were accurate.
Starlight eyed him curiously. "Xu Fu… how do you know this? Were you fishing again these past two days? Don't tell me you didn't even leave a trace."
Xu Fu merely smiled. With Starlight, he didn't need to hide any of his secrets. Unlike Avengers-style heroes, he preferred to move quietly, without the attention of bystanders constantly watching for spectacle.
Xu Fu then recounted his journey: venturing into outer space to confront the Planet Devourer, and returning to the Fog Capital to eliminate the invading Dark Elves. The enemy's goal had been to bomb the Nine Star Fields, with Blue Star among their targets.
"That's… incredible," Starlight said, jaw dropping. She hadn't expected Xu Fu to become so powerful. Not only had he entered the legendary Hell, he had also battled a creator god and killed the Dark Elves.
Xu Fu, truly, was formidable.
A thin beam of light appeared in Starlight's eyes—an expression that only manifested in moments like this. In her eyes, her new boyfriend was the strongest being in the sky and on the earth.
"That's just natural… I'm your man," Xu Fu said with a strange smile.
"Xu Fu… what does the Planet Devourer look like? And the Dark Elves… aren't they terrifying? Why did they attack the Nine Kingdoms?"
"And now, if we go there, you can take me with you instantly? Travel through the past, just like that?"
At this, Starlight's mind overflowed with questions. She kept asking Xu Fu relentlessly. Their relationship was more like comrades-in-arms than a romantic partnership at first.
Xu Fu, though slightly helpless, still respected her courage and curiosity.
"That's right," Starlight said, suddenly remembering. "Something…"
"Something," Xu Fu replied calmly.
"A while ago, Director Fury came to see me. He said he had something to discuss with you," Starlight added idly.
"Nick Fury?" Xu Fu's expression brightened. He didn't think much of Fury discovering his home; after all, the Heavenly Sword Bureau had been reorganized and was busier than ever since dismantling the old ruined organization.
