The ground trembled violently, sending shockwaves through the fog-shrouded city. A dazzling rainbow of light burst forth from the remnants of the particle energy.
This was the result of Xu Fu harnessing his own energy field, forcibly counteracting the Cause Particle. Structures nearby crumbled under the relentless tremors, and even the distant Taiwushi River quivered with terror.
When the rainbow faded, the particles that had once connected the Nine Star Domains turned to dust, vanishing into nothingness. Xu Fu absorbed the expanding particle energy effortlessly—but the remnants still clung to Matt Jisi's body.
Xu Fu fixed his gaze on the dark elf emerging from the dissipating particles.
Matt Jisi's expression twisted in disbelief. "How… is this possible?!"
The Blue Starers before him had actually caused such catastrophic disruption to the Cause Particles.
Matt Jisi had poured all his strength into annihilating the Nine Star Domains. He had sacrificed himself recklessly to destroy the Reality Gem—the domain power of the Cause Particle. By all accounts, his impact should have been devastating. The surrounding space even began to tear under the strain.
Yet now, this young man from Blue Star—barely twenty, no less—had undone it all with ease.
Matt Jisi's confidence wavered. He had relied on the Infinity Stones, one of the most powerful cosmic weapons, believing he could fulfill the long-cherished ambitions of the Dark Elf clan. But now, he questioned Xu Fu's true identity.
Even with the knowledge he had collected over millennia about superpowers on Blue Star—the Avengers, low-key mutant groups—he never imagined someone could confront fully awakened Infinity Stones alone.
Matt Jisi's face contorted in disbelief. "No… this cannot be! On Blue Star, or anywhere in the Nine Star Domains, no one could do this! Not even the God-Lord of Asgard, past or present!"
Desperation clawed at him, and he redoubled his efforts, forcing the Cause Particles to their limits. Rough green tendons bulged along his body, revealing the extreme strain.
The dark elf's physical strength was no longer sufficient to withstand the cosmic-level power of the Infinity Stones.
And yet, Matt Jisi pushed on, sacrificing himself to try to maximize the gem's energy. He was like a balloon on the verge of bursting, yet still being blown fuller, veins standing out, on the brink of collapse.
Even so, his efforts were futile. Not a single strand of Xu Fu's hair was harmed.
Bang!
With calm precision, Xu Fu struck. The Cause Particles Matt Jisi had poured two lifetimes into resisting were shattered by a single punch.
"No!"
Matt Jisi screamed in agony as the particles he had spent countless years seeking, the foundation of his ambitions, were destroyed before his eyes. His plans to annihilate the Nine Star Domains were gone in an instant.
To make matters worse, he had no strength left to resist. Everything he had done until now had been for nothing.
Rumble!
The shattered particles exploded, sending shockwaves in all directions. Matt Jisi, caught in the initial blast, was thrown clear, narrowly avoiding total annihilation.
The fog-shrouded capital, once dominated by the Cause Particle's energy field, cleared, revealing open skies for the first time in ages.
Matt Jisi stared around, devastated. The dark elf spaceship he had brought was now a battered ruin, riddled with holes.
"How… how is this possible?!"
His mind raced, recalling the boundless energy, the years of ambition, the long-cherished dreams—all crumbling in mere seconds.
