"Jenny, I'd feel safer if you stayed here," Thor replied.
"No, I'm not jumping into the battle. I'll watch from a safe distance," she countered firmly.
Thor studied her for a moment, impressed by her persistence. "Well… we're about to—"
But his expression changed suddenly.
"What is it?" Jennifer asked.
"Another master has arrived," Thor said, his voice low and tense.
"Master… here?" Jennifer paused, her inner core stirring. "Thor… could it be Brother Xu?"
To be called a master by Thor was no small thing. Whoever had arrived was undoubtedly someone of immense power. And in this situation, apart from Xu Fu, who else could possibly match that description?
"I don't know," Thor shook his head. "Jenny, let's go see for ourselves."
The overwhelming aura Hammer Gosol felt was not Matt Jisi's—it belonged to someone else entirely. Thor sensed it immediately.
"Alright, Thor, let's go," Jennifer said, not waiting for further explanation. She followed him toward Matt Jisi, ready to confront whatever lay ahead.
Matt Jisi's eyes glowed with anticipation as he unleashed the cause particles with terrifying intensity. "Soon… the Nine Great Realms will fall into eternal night," he whispered with exhilaration. Thousands of years of waiting were about to bear fruit.
And yet, a voice suddenly pierced through the roaring energy.
"Who's there?" Matt demanded, startled.
From behind him came a narrow, calm tone. "Oh, I'm over here. You probably can't see me."
Matt's eyes narrowed. "Whoever you are, you have no reason to interfere. I will let the Nine Realms descend into eternal night."
"Actually…" the voice continued with a playful undertone, "I need to rush back. My fishing rod hasn't been retracted yet. I can't afford to lose my precious bait… Maybe I'll grab your black bumps and return home?"
Matt's glare hardened. "If you have the ability, then come stop me yourself!"
The voice seemed to penetrate directly into Matt's mind—a skill beyond ordinary means.
"Personally stop me? Very well…"
Suddenly, the energy of the cause particles began to sway uncontrollably. Matt Jisi's pupils widened as a silver-white light, streaked with verdant green, flashed across the sky.
It was Xu Fu.
Though traversing the galaxy with a portal was trivial for him, the fog capital of Grandway was nearly enveloped in the field of cause particles. Even Xu Fu had to respect the overwhelming force at play. He combined his Silver Superman speed with the blessing of the green light, reaching the battlefield in an instant.
Xu Fu's eyes scanned the chaotic sea of cause particles, each cluster radiating incredible energy. Matt Jisi was not in control—these particles amplified themselves, and he was merely a conduit. At the critical moment, Matt would sacrifice himself to fully activate the Reality Gem, attempting to plunge the Nine Realms into eternal night.
Xu Fu's golden gaze glimmered. "Eliminate particles."
He extended his cosmic connection, channeling divine power, cosmic energy, and the extraordinary strength of his Silver Superman form. His palm reached toward the pillars of light—the cause particles—and colorful rays spiraled around them, neutralizing the chaotic energy.
The particles swayed violently, but Xu Fu's control was absolute. Compared to the cosmic devourer of a creation god's planet, Matt Jisi was insignificant—merely a reptile standing before a master.
