In the fog capital, citizens gazed skyward in fear and awe. News of an alien invasion had spread rapidly. The massive spaceship hovering above, unmistakably alien, sent panic rippling through the city.
The dark elves were unmistakable, their appearance unlike any native of Blue Star. Memories of past calamities—rebellions in the New City, Ultron's shadow—only intensified the fear.
Questions ran through the minds of the citizens: Where are the Avengers? Hawkeye? Spider-Man? Tony Stark? Can Hammer Gosol handle this alone?
Chaos erupted. Frightened residents fled the city in every direction, desperate to escape.
Meanwhile, the Eagle Council, aware of the threat, scrambled to deploy bombers to Grandway. But interference disrupted their signals, sending some craft astray. The council's plan faltered. Their only hope now lay with Brother Hammer—Hammer Gosol.
Matt Jisi's confidence grew. He gazed at the heavens, seeing the convergence of the major realms, and smiled smugly.
"Come on," he whispered, spreading his arms wide as if to embrace victory.
From his body, fountains of crimson energy poured forth. The Tide Particles swirled around him like a hurricane, surging toward the nine realms.
Matt intended to infuse the cause particles into the nine realms, plunging them into eternal night. Even if this release killed him, he deemed it worth the sacrifice—a culmination of his dark elves' lifetime ambition.
The crimson torrent expanded, a magnificent and terrifying display, filling the sky. Anyone attempting to enter the particle field would be annihilated instantly. Ordinary beings could not survive the intensity.
Citizens of the fog capital watched in horror as the red liquid-like energy stretched toward the heavens, a river of destruction connecting earth and sky. Even without understanding the true nature of the cause particles, the sheer scale of the phenomenon radiated danger.
"What is happening?""Can Hammer Gosol stop them?""Is this the end of the fog capital?"
Panic spread as the crimson energy continued to expand. This was no ordinary battle; the entire city seemed to tremble under its influence.
At Grandway, Jennifer Sler raced toward the spot where Thor had fallen.
Thor lay unconscious, battered by Matt Jisi's overwhelming attack. The force of the cause particles had nearly crushed him.
"Thor! Thor, don't scare me like that!" Jennifer shouted, panic in her voice.
Hammer Gosol slowly regained consciousness at Jennifer's call. His gaze swept across the sky, where pillars of light—formed by the cause particles—arched like a rainbow bridge across the city, pouring energy into distant realms.
"This isn't good," Hammer Gosol muttered, rising to his feet. "Jenny, I have to fight the dark elves now."
"But Thor, you're so injured! How can you possibly fight them?" Jennifer pleaded, gripping his arm.
"This is my responsibility," Hammer Gosol said firmly, taking a deep breath. "I provoked this. I have to fix it."
Even battered and weary, the resolve in his eyes burned brighter than the crimson storm above.
