Thor knew what he could not allow: if he waited, countless lives in Asgard would perish. So he had a plan—to take the initiative. He would hunt down the Dark Elves, destroy the aether particle before they could harness it, and then strike the elves themselves.
"Thor, the Nine Realms Passage is sealed. How do we proceed?" asked a young swordsman.
"That's why we must ask for help from one man," Thor replied.
There was a pause. Some faces grew pale.
"Are you… talking about that bastard?" one whispered, eyes narrowing.
Rumors had long surrounded Loki's strange methods. Few trusted him, and many feared the consequences.
"Loki can't be trusted," a warrior in armor said.
"I know," Thor admitted. "But for the sake of my mother, I believe Loki would act—and my father would not question it."
In Asgard's dungeon, Thor approached Loki.
"Loki, remove your illusions," Thor commanded.
The phantom shimmer vanished. Loki sat in the corner, his expression tired and pessimistic, the floor around him in disarray.
"Thor… my eldest brother. Have you come to see my folly?" Loki asked wryly.
"No, Loki. I came to give you a hand, for our mother's sake," Thor said. "You want revenge, don't you?"
"Revenge?" Loki's eyes glinted with determination. "Of course."
Soon, Loki arrived aboard an Asgardian warship, carrying Thor and Jennifer Sler. This was the former Dark Elf stronghold, now repurposed for their mission.
Thor knew the gravity of the act—they were breaking Asgardian law. Even if they defeated the Dark Elves, punishment awaited them. Yet for Asgard, and for Jennifer, he had no choice.
"Thor, will you release my chains now?" Loki asked.
"Yes. The Dark Elves will soon reveal themselves. You cannot remain shackled," Thor replied.
Loki's chains were removed. Together, they prepared for both the best- and worst-case scenarios.
"I thought I came with you this time to die," Loki admitted.
"According to our plan, we can succeed," Thor reassured him.
Loki's scheme was cunning. Disguised as Thor, he would manipulate Mattheth, the Dark Elf commander, convincing him to attack Asgard. In the chaos, they would seize the aether particle, turning the tables on the Dark Elves.
But Thor's calculations failed. The particle, like an Infinity Stone, could not be controlled. In the end, Mattheth seized it, using the convergence of the Nine Kingdoms to plunge them into eternal darkness.
Loki perished at the hands of the Dark Elves. Thor and Jennifer were left stranded in Waller's Sea, facing both grief and danger.
"Thor, there must be a way forward," Jennifer said, seeing his resolve falter. The pressure of the past days—the Dark Elves' assault, the loss of Thor's mother, Loki's death—had weighed heavily. Yet Thor remained steadfast.
"Jenny… thank you," Thor said quietly, his expression betraying reluctance but gratitude.
Suddenly, Jennifer's phone rang. She answered, surprised to receive a signal so far from Blue Star.
"Thor, come with me," she urged, pulling him toward the source.
They entered a cave, finding scattered objects—commonplace yet out of place, remnants from Blue Star.
"Now we need to find my partner," Jennifer said, determination in her voice. "And make sure the Dark Elves are here too."
"Jenny, lend me your phone," Thor said.
"What are you planning?" she asked, wary.
"This time, Blue Star may be darkened. We'll need reinforcements."
Together, they prepared to call for aid, their mission far from over.
