"What's wrong, Hodoel?" Thor asked.
"Miss Foster… missing. No longer in sight," Hodoel replied.
"Send me to that location immediately," Thor said urgently.
In the vast emptiness of space, scattered among countless missing star stones, life seemed nonexistent. Yet, here floated a magnificent spaceship—its origin unknown, and no one knew how long it had been adrift.
Inside the ship, a device slowly activated, revealing a figure within. Angular features, thick connected eyebrows, and a sharp, strange visage marked him immediately.
If the King of Asgard were present, he would have recognized him: Matteeth, commander of the Dark Elves.
Since his defeat thousands of years ago, Matteeth had left his realm with the remaining Dark Elves, retreating into the deepest corners of space to hide.
The commander watched as aether particles were revealed—their power capable of fulfilling his and his people's wishes. Yet, deep down, Matteeth harbored little hope of truly destroying Asgard. He knew that if space itself fell into eternal darkness, Asgard would inevitably fall.
"The aether particles have appeared," the Dark Elf murmured, his eyes glinting. "The time has come. For the future of our kind…"
Within the massive starship, the Dark Elves, who had been in deep slumber, slowly awoke. This time, the stakes were higher than ever—they must succeed for the aether particles.
Meanwhile, on Earth, Jenny Fursler awoke, disoriented, lying in the remnants of an old factory.
"Where… am I?" she whispered, looking around.
"Jenny, what about them?" she asked herself as she saw familiar equipment nearby. Her partner, Darcy Luis, was there.
"Darcy!" Jenny called.
"Jenny! You're finally back," Darcy said with relief.
"What happened?" Jenny asked, confused.
"You were missing for hours, so I called the police," Darcy replied.
"Hours?" Jenny was stunned. She hadn't realized she had been unconscious for so long. Her mind flashed back to the strange dark-red substance from before—it had to be the cause.
Outside, rain poured heavily, yet curiously, not a single drop fell near Jenny. Darcy knew immediately—someone with incredible power was present.
"Thor?" Jenny turned and saw Hammer Gothor approaching. She ran into his arms.
"Jenny!" Thor held her tightly, relief evident.
"How did you get here?" Jenny asked.
"I was in Asgard, trying to send Hokkadale to find you, but you were nowhere to be seen. So I came myself," Thor explained seriously.
Jenny nodded, sensing that something strange had indeed entered her body—likely the aether particles the Dark Elves had sought.
A policeman approached. "Are you Jenny Fursler, who disappeared earlier?"
"Yes," Jenny replied, stepping forward.
"We need to take you in for questioning," the officer said.
"I can't go with you right now," Jenny said firmly.
As the officer reached for her, Jenny unleashed a shockwave, knocking over carts and forcing the officers to back off. Thor caught her, shielding her from the chaos.
"Release the lady at once," a policeman ordered.
"What if I don't?" Thor growled. The sheer intensity of his presence made the officers falter. With a flash of red light, Thor and Jenny disappeared, leaving Darcy stunned but reassured—Jenny was safe with Thor.
Meanwhile, in Asgard, the Dark Elves launched an assault to steal the aether particles. Though they failed, the attack caused significant damage—claiming lives, including a key figure: Warden's wife, Fuliga, Thor's mother.
It was now clear: the entity that had entered Jenny's body was an aether particle. The Dark Elves, reduced to shadows seeking eternal night, had attempted to manipulate space itself. Warden's grief and anger would ensure Asgard prepared for their inevitable return.
