Thor took a deep breath before speaking.
"You mean…" Jennifer Sler hesitated, thinking of the mysterious figure known as the "Fishing Boss." "…Brother Xu?"
"Yes. Brother Xu," Thor confirmed.
"How could he…?" Jennifer asked, still puzzled. Her knowledge of Xu Fu was limited.
"Jenny, you know too little about Brother Xu. What I'm about to tell you… you can't share with anyone," Thor warned.
"I understand. No problem," Jennifer nodded. Her curiosity about Xu Fu's secrets burned within her.
Fog Capital, Taiwushi River.
"Tick! Backbite! Backbite!"
"Master, there's a call from Fog Capital. The owner is Jenny Fursler, Thor's girlfriend—or friend," Monday, who had been assisting Xu Fu, informed him, tapping into big data to identify the unknown number.
"Put it through," Xu Fu said, smiling.
On the other end:
"Brother Xu," Thor's voice came through clearly.
"Thor? Tired of spending all your time with your girlfriend?" Xu Fu teased.
"No, I'm near Fog Capital now… with Jenny," Thor replied.
"With your woman there? How could you even call me?" Xu Fu laughed, enjoying skewers handed over by Monday.
"A lot has happened in the past two days," Thor began. Then he recounted everything: the attack on Asgard, Loki's death, the Dark Elves' assault, and the dangerous aether particles that could devastate the Nine Kingdoms.
"Thor, what exactly do you want from me?" Xu Fu asked once Thor finished.
"Brother Xu, I need your help. We can't face the Dark Elves alone. Please, fight with us," Thor pleaded.
Xu Fu smiled knowingly. "No problem, Thor. It's just a matter of the particles. I can handle that."
Though he had previously claimed to be merely "fishing," Xu Fu's power was immense. He sensed the convergence of the Nine Kingdoms across Blue Star and realized Thor's call made coordinating easier and faster.
"Once the location of the gathering is determined, I'll send it to you," Xu Fu promised.
Three days later.
"Is it finally happening?" Xu Fu mused, watching the energy vibrations across Blue Star. After a few days of quiet fishing, nothing extraordinary had occurred—until now.
The energy readings were chaotic. The Nine Kingdoms were converging. Monitors across nations were sounding alarms. The rebirth of the Dark Elves, led by Matteeth, aimed to use the aether particles to plunge the Nine Kingdoms into eternal night.
Thor had wisely sought Xu Fu's help. Even if the Dark Elves acquired the particles, they could not unleash their true potential without guidance. Xu Fu, however, could locate the aggregation point and reach it instantaneously.
Xu Fu's current level of power—Silver Cesium Superman—combined with the Infinity Stones, allowed him to absorb terrifying amounts of energy. The stones' primordial power amplified his abilities, allowing him to act faster than anyone could anticipate.
"This is a sight I can't miss," Xu Fu said, setting aside his fishing rod. With a swift motion, he vanished, teleporting toward Fog Capital.
Fog Capital, Ge Long Micro Governance.
Here, the Nine Kingdoms would meet. Hammer Gothor (Thor) and Jennifer Sler led Darcy and the team, setting up the instruments they had fortified from the previous encounters with the Savo Singers.
The convergence was imminent. The balance of the Nine Kingdoms—and indeed, the future of Blue Star—was about to be tested.
