After Xu Fu had driven away the Devourer of Planets, the coordinates of the Fish Pond refreshed once again. This time, he returned from Chai Su Star to Blue Star, specifically near Fog Capital.
Unexpectedly, he ran into Thor, the hammer-wielding god, and his current girlfriend, Jane Foster, formerly Jenny Fessler—who was on the verge of becoming his ex. Jenny was here conducting a research project, and due to the Qirita Star invasion, many people had fled to this quieter region.
The Mediterranean countries had grown relatively calm. Unlike the more beautiful but war-prone lands, this area rarely experienced battles or calamities, making it ideal for research—and business trips.
Thor, of course, came to check on Jenny occasionally. Despite his affection, his father, Odin, the All-Father, did not approve of the relationship. The Asgardians were immortal, while humans on Blue Star had short lifespans, and Odin believed Thor's best match was Sif, the warrior of Asgard.
Yet Thor's heart belonged to Jenny, which frustrated Odin greatly. Still, Thor was no longer under his father's direct control, so Odin let matters be.
Meanwhile, reports from Asgard indicated a strange phenomenon: the convergence of the Nine Realms. In a very short span, all kingdoms were spreading strange anomalies to distant blocks of space. This phenomenon had appeared on Blue Star before but remained mysterious.
"Darcy, are you sure something weird is happening?" Jenny asked.
Darcy Luis, an astrophysicist assisting Jenny, had a brilliant expression. "It's approaching… the space there behaves differently. It's… unusual."
Soon, Darcy led Jenny and her team to an abandoned factory. Inside, they met several teenagers demonstrating the factory's strange properties. Even a large truck could be made to drift as if there were no gravity, moved only by the slightest touch.
Jenny marveled, "This is incredible. Space itself… defies logic here."
The teenagers guided them to the roof. Dropping a bottle revealed further anomalies: it vanished into thin air, appearing unpredictably elsewhere. Jenny's instruments confirmed it—a localized warping of space itself.
Curious, Jenny approached the center of the building. Suddenly, a powerful pull drew her and Fessler into a singular space, isolated and dimly lit.
"Where… are we?" Jenny whispered.
Fessler's eyes widened. A stone pillar nearby seemed to radiate an invisible pull. As they approached, a dark red liquid-like substance flowed endlessly along its surface.
"What is this?" Fessler asked.
Unbeknownst to him, Jenny touched it—the Aether Particle, also known as a Reality Gem, one of the legendary Infinity Stones. It could make any wish come true, even defying the natural laws of reality.
In ancient times, the dark elves sought the Aether to plunge space into eternal darkness. Odin intervened, scattering the particle across the cosmos, since Infinity Stones could not be destroyed.
Now, with the convergence of the Nine Realms, the sealed space containing the Aether was unfolding once more. As Jenny reached out, the flowing particles—like tadpoles seeking their mother—entered her body, overwhelming both her and Fessler, who fainted immediately.
Meanwhile, in Asgard Basilica, Thor approached. "Hokudale, I need to speak with Jane again."
"Hokudale?" Jane—or Fessler—looked at Thor with a light smile.
"Yes, Jane," Thor said firmly. "We need to discuss her work and this space anomaly."
Hokudale's expression shifted slightly. Jenny, skilled in astrophysics, had begun experimenting with the effects of the aggregation and reflection of this singular space. The implications were enormous, and even Thor's godly instincts sensed the gravity of the situation.
