If this guy actually attacks me… I'll get crushed!
He was in the most empty, desperate state—half-awakened, half-hungry, teetering on the edge of exhaustion.
So he acted.
He had been clinging to his humanoid form, but now he expanded with all his might, towering over the cosmos. He looked back at his planet-sized body.
I don't want to think about this. Just get out of here.
"You wait for me, damn human!"
The Devourer of Planets spat a final threat—and in the next instant, his enormous figure vanished from the Centaur Arm.
Xu Fu blinked. Speed like this? Faster than I can even open a portal?
This was the Devourer of Planets! Running away like a coward? Pathetic.
Shaking his head, Xu Fu watched the figure disappear, muttering indignantly.
Despite his overwhelming power, the Devourer of Planets had cowered before him. Even Odin, observing the battle from the Divine Domain in Asgard, was stunned.
The supreme god… scared off by a human?
The notion was unfathomable. The Devourer of Planets, a being capable of swallowing entire universes, had been intimidated by a mere mortal—or at least, by Xu Fu.
Far across the universe, on a magnificent, unassuming planet, life thrived in secret.
This planet appeared ordinary, but it was anything but. Every major race in the universe lived here—hostile species coexisting in harmony, some long thought extinct.
At the planet's core stood a towering metropolis, advanced beyond comprehension, with ironclad buildings and countless flying machines. At the center of the capital, a gleaming castle dwarfed even the so-called Asgard Palace of the Ninth Realm.
Inside, two golden sarcophagi stood, transparent glass revealing the forms within. The golden-skinned figures lay dormant, timeless and regal. If Star-Lord had seen them, he would have recognized the Sandar—their unique race, known for their loyalty and power.
But these two were different. Dehumanized, nearly statue-like, their presence radiating supreme authority.
Then, in unison, the golden sarcophagi opened.
The male Sandar sat upright. "100 million years… the long years have passed. I have returned. This time, I will rule the universe!"
He flicked his hand, and a blue cube hovered above him—the Heart of the Universe, an artifact capable of surpassing the limits of mortals.
He and his wife had slumbered for 100 million years, guarding this treasure. Now, with it in hand, the Sandar would become the most powerful race in the cosmos. Even ordinary Sandar could replicate the abilities of the mighty.
"Wake up, my love. It's time. Let's take this universe!"
The female Sandar awoke. Recognizing her husband, she moved gracefully, ready to command.
From the distance, a brightly clad army approached. "Exalted God! Your loyal followers have arrived!"
At their arrival, their appearance shimmered with a divine light. Ordinary troops transformed into elite Sandar warriors in an instant. They fell to their knees, awed and reverent.
"Good. My believers, recall our people. Gather our forces," the male Sandar—Sengulari—commanded, radiating unstoppable strength.
"Exalted God! There has been rebellion in your absence," one leader reported. "Some have defected, ignoring your teachings."
"Damn traitors! Where are they?" Sengulari demanded, fury in his golden eyes.
"They flee from the Halawats across the universe," the leader explained.
"Leave them. Gather our forces. Our next destination is Blue Star—the place where we will rise."
Blue Star… this was no ordinary planet. Eons ago, it had been a divine experimental nursery, spawning powerful Inhumans. According to the Heart of the Universe, this planet was extraordinary—a perfect foundation for the Sandar's return to supremacy.
"Yes! May the gods be forever honored!"
The leader knelt in reverence.
With the Heart of the Universe, the Sandar would not only dominate—they could replicate and surpass any skill or ability, making them the most powerful race in existence.
Soon, fleets and armies of Xanders gathered across the universe. Civilizations unaware of their approach were thrown into chaos. Many leaders and key figures fled, leaving vacant territories ripe for conquest.
The cosmos trembled as the Sandar prepared to rise again.
