Chapter 11 - Did You Just Blow Up My Nest, You Bastard!

Mutants are a very powerful group.

If you were to ask who is the most powerful within this group, most mutants would say it's Magneto, the leader of the Brotherhood of Mutants, and Professor Charles, the leader of the X-Men.

One has the power to control magnetic fields, and the other has the power to control minds.

The forces they control are also the two largest factions among mutants.

The only difference between the two is this:

Magneto is extremely hateful towards humans, wanting nothing more than to eliminate all of them, while Professor Charles is much more gentle in comparison.

But when it comes to mutants, Magneto is an absolutely gentle leader.

Even mutants like Raven and Toad faced prejudice based on their appearance, even from Professor X.

Only Magneto didn't care. He saw every mutant as his brother or sister.

Because of this, many mutants served Magneto.

Mystique, Toad, Sabretooth, and others were all under Magneto's command.

With this ragtag group, Magneto brazenly arrived behind the Mutant Academy.

Even so, the Mutant Academy was on high alert.

A piercing alarm immediately blared.

The teachers ushered all the students into the incredibly sturdy underground shelter, leaving only Charles and the X-Men to confront the enemy in front of the academy.

Cyclops Scott, Phoenix Jean, Storm Ororo, and Wolverine Logan, along with Professor Charles, comprised the main fighting force of the Mutant Academy.

On the surface, their strength was definitely far superior to the rabble led by Magneto, yet the X-Men were still on high alert.

It was all because of Magneto.

He alone was a powerful army!

He was one of the most powerful mutants discovered to date! "Erik, you promised me you wouldn't come here."

Professor Charles sat in his wheelchair, his face ashen, and spoke.

"Give me Rogue, and I'll leave immediately."

"We won't harm the children here."

"Charles, you can trust my word."

Magneto said with utmost sincerity.

Even though his tone was very calm, Wolverine's hairs stood on end.

"Impossible!"

"Erik, you should know, I will never hand over the children here."

"You've already broken your promise by coming here."

Charles spoke with great displeasure.

Magneto was also very helpless; if it weren't for dire circumstances, he would never bring the war to the Mutant Academy.

He also contributed to the construction, donating a large sum of money!

He didn't want to destroy his hard work.

But he was willing to sacrifice his own life to achieve his great goals.

He couldn't worry about that now.

With a thought.

All the metal objects around him seemed to come alive, dancing with his movements.

"Charles, I don't want to destroy your hard work."

"Don't force my hand!"

Magneto spoke.

Professor Charles also moved his mind.

Magneto suddenly felt a tightening in his arm, only to find Sabretooth and Raven, who were standing behind him, had grabbed his shoulders.

Judging by their expressionless faces, the situation had become a stalemate.

"It seems neither of us can do anything to the other, right?"

Magneto said.

"You understand. You should leave now."

Professor Charles also spoke.

"Heh."

Magneto's lips curled into a smile.

Professor Charles felt something was wrong.

Before he could react, a great force struck him from behind, sending him tumbling out of his wheelchair.

In his peripheral vision, he saw Wolverine, like a stone, flying through the air and knocking him away.

No matter how hard Wolverine struggled, he couldn't break free from that powerful restraint.

"Professor!"

Jean immediately led several X-Men to help Professor Charles.

And Wolverine was held up in front of Magneto.

"You're really easy to handle."

Magneto smiled and reached out a hand, and the steel railings in the small garden beside them bent like noodles.

These steel bars directly pierced Wolverine's body, binding him and making him unable to move.

"Argh!"

Wolverine let out a scream of immense pain.

But in front of a strong opponent like Magneto, he had no ability to resist at all, and could only roar powerlessly.

Swish! Wolverine flew out far away like a stone.

And at this moment.

Xu Fu was still fishing.

The events happening at the entrance of the Mutant Academy didn't catch his attention at all; his focus was entirely on the pond in front of him.

His face was filled with anticipation, hoping a fish would take the bait.

But he hadn't been waiting long when a shadow suddenly fell from the sky.

Boom! It was like a bomb had been thrown into the pond, and a huge splash erupted from the water's surface.

"Damn it!"

"Who the hell blew up my spot!"

Xu Fu was furious.

As everyone knew, fishermen generally had good tempers; they were usually amiable unless provoked.

The only exception was when someone ruined their fishing spot.

Xu Fu was in that state right now.

"How am I supposed to fish now!"

"I want to see who the hell did this!"

"They won't even let me fish! Is there no justice in this world? No rules at all!"

Xu Fu gritted his teeth and spoke.

The Joker's Thought Network began to operate, and in the blink of an eye, he determined the trajectory of the approaching black shadow.

And he confirmed that the thing falling wasn't anything else, but a person.

However, he didn't have time to consider why someone was falling from the sky. Seeing the red blood in the lake, it seemed this guy definitely didn't do it on purpose.

Charging towards the direction where the person had fallen, Xu Fu resolutely rushed forward.

Everything that stood in his way was directly destroyed by him. Trees half a meter thick were directly broken by his impact, and a string of holes were left on the ground.

It was clear how furious he was at the moment.

In less than a minute, he had charged to the gates of the Academy.

Then he saw the X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants already engaged in battle, having deployed their abilities.

Magneto had the upper hand. Wolverine was taken down immediately, and Professor Charles was injured. At this moment, the Brotherhood of Mutants had the advantage.

Xu Fu didn't care who these two groups were.

"Stop it!"

Xu Fu roared. It was like thunder exploding. The immense sound shattered the glass on the academy walls, as if he were using the Lion's Roar technique.

The X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants, who had been fighting in a heap, were stunned by his shout.

They couldn't even focus on the battle anymore and looked up.

"Tell me, who just threw something?"

Xu Fu sneered, cracking his knuckles.

The sound of his bones popping and cracking filled the air.
