Chapter 1 - "The Transmigrated Uchiha."

-----

-----

On Blue Star, Rukawa opened his eyes and realized—he'd transmigrated. His first stop? The world of Naruto.

His new identity: son of the Uchiha clan head, younger brother of Itachi, and older brother of Sasuke.

Uchiha Rukawa.

And the worst part? He landed at possibly the most awkward moment in the timeline.

Because in just a little while, the infamous "Night of the Uchiha Massacre" was about to happen.

When that day came… damn!

If Sasuke were still around, at least he wouldn't be alone.

But three years ago, Sasuke had gone off with some masked weirdo to train—and never came back.

Now it was just him, facing Itachi's blade.

That was a nightmare waiting to happen!

Just as Rukawa was mentally cursing his luck, a sudden mechanical voice echoed in his head.

[Ding…]

[Binding successful. Congratulations, Host, you've obtained the God-Tier Sign-In System!]

[Since the Host has successfully transmigrated, you've been awarded a sign-in chance. Would you like to sign in now?]

Rukawa's face lit up.

Sure enough, when God closes one door, He opens another.

He might've ended up in the body of a tragic side character, but with a system like this? That changed everything.

Without hesitation, he shouted in his mind:

"System, sign in immediately!"

[Ding… Sign-in successful. Congratulations, Host, you've obtained Indra's full-power attributes!]

Hell yeah!

Indra at his peak—Rukawa's entire body trembled with excitement.

With Indra's strength at full power, the so-called "Night of the Massacre" was nothing but a joke.

Itachi? Obito?

Even the old schemers Hiruzen Sarutobi and Danzo, waiting to swoop in?

He could crush them all with a flick of his wrist.

The system voice chimed again.

[Ding… Congratulations, Host. Indra's full-power attributes have been successfully integrated!]

As the words faded, a surge of burning energy roared through every vein in his body.

Most of all—his eyes. A terrifying force flooded into them, pushing them through a complete transformation.

His left eye: Six-Tomoe Rinnegan.

His right eye: Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.

Of course, Rukawa didn't reveal either of them. Outwardly, his eyes looked perfectly normal.

No need to spoil the surprise for the Third Hokage and Danzo just yet.

Either way, his small frame had undergone an earth-shaking change.

"So strong! Too damn strong! This is Indra's full power?!"

His heart raced, and he couldn't stop grinning.

"Rukawa! Uchiha Rukawa! What the hell are you smiling about?! Didn't you hear me call you to the arena?!"

Iruka's face was dark with irritation.

He'd called Rukawa's name over and over, but the boy just stood there laughing to himself.

"Iruka-sensei, sorry! I just thought of something funny, didn't mean any disrespect."

Rukawa quickly smoothed his expression.

Honestly, he'd gotten so caught up—first the sudden transmigration, then the system—that he almost forgot where he was.

Right, this was still the middle of his first practice spar at the Academy.

And now, it was his turn to fight Hyūga Shishu.

"Well, if there's no problem, hurry up. Don't keep Shishu waiting."

Seeing Rukawa finally respond, Iruka urged him on with a sigh.

"Sorry, Iruka-sensei. I'm suddenly not feeling well. I'd like to go home and rest."

He paused, then added casually:

"As for the spar, just count it as his win."

The Uchiha massacre was about to go down in a few days.

Time was short, and he had no interest in playing ninja tag at school.

Better to get back to the clan compound and start preparing.

He turned to leave without even waiting for Iruka's approval.

Really, it wasn't so much asking for leave as it was informing.

Whether Iruka agreed or not made no difference.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk!"

A mocking laugh cut through the air behind him.

"Some people can't even make up a proper excuse!"

"Obviously, you're just scared you'll lose to me, so you're running away. 'Not feeling well'? What a joke!"

"Hahaha! And this is the son of the Uchiha clan head? With that cowardly attitude, your clan's a disgrace compared to the Hyūga!"

"That's right! The Hyūga are clearly Konoha's true Number One clan. Uchiha are nothing but trash!"

Rukawa froze mid-step. Slowly, he turned, locking eyes with Hyūga Shishu's sneering face.

"Are you begging to get your ass kicked?"

His voice was icy cold.

He didn't care about insults against the Uchiha—the truth was, he had no real sense of belonging to them yet.

But being called a coward?

That he couldn't let slide.

Even if the punk was just a seven- or eight-year-old brat, Rukawa was ready to teach him a lesson.

Before he could move, though, another angry voice rang out beside him.

"Hey! What's wrong with you?! Didn't you hear Rukawa-kun say he's not feeling well?!

He already gave you the win, but you keep pushing him. What are you trying to do—kill him?!"

It was Sakura. The pink-haired little girl glared at Shishu, her face full of outrage.

"She's right! Shishu, you've gone too far! Rukawa said you won, but you won't let it go. You must have bad intentions!"

Ino chimed in, her tone sharp.

"Yeah! You're out of line!"

"You're disgusting, Shishu!"

"…!"

Soon, half the girls in class had surrounded Rukawa, chirping angrily and scolding Shishu like a pack of sparrows.

Rukawa stared at the circle of little girls and couldn't help feeling speechless.

So the original body was this popular, huh?

If he'd had even half this charm in his past life, he wouldn't have been single for over twenty years!

The other boys in class gritted their teeth so hard it was audible.

Damn it! Rukawa wasn't that handsome. Why were all the girls flocking around him?!

Argh, they wanted to swap places with him so badly!

Across the room, Shishu's face turned pitch-black. His teeth ground together in fury.

All he'd wanted was to provoke Rukawa into fighting.

How the hell did he suddenly become the public enemy of all the girls?!

"Uchiha Rukawa, are you really just a coward who hides behind women?! Come out here and fight me like a man!"

Shishu roared in frustration.

"Yeah, fight him, Rukawa!"

"Don't tell me you're just a turtle hiding in its shell!"

The other boys jumped in, eager to see him fall.

"Rukawa-kun, don't listen to them! You're not feeling well, so don't push yourself. Here, let me walk you home."

Sakura's voice was full of concern, her eyes brimming with worry.

But deep inside, she was laughing like crazy.

"Hahaha! Finally! This is my chance!

If I can walk him home, getting close to the Uchiha clan will be a piece of cake!"

Meanwhile, Shishu kept shouting.

"Uchiha Rukawa! If you're just gonna hide behind girls, you're nothing but trash! Come out here and die!"

"The weaker they are, the louder they bark."

Rukawa's face was expressionless as he slipped his arm free from Sakura's grip.

Pushing past the cluster of little girls, he strode into the center of the sparring field, standing opposite Shishu.

"Heh! Finally! Once I beat you into the dirt, everyone will see that you're nothing but a pretty face!"

Shishu licked his lips, trembling with anticipation, already imagining Rukawa groveling at his feet.

Rukawa ignored him. Instead, he glanced at Iruka and asked calmly:

"Iruka-sensei, can we start? I don't have all day."

Iruka shot him a look but didn't argue.

"Both sides, take your positions. Uchiha Rukawa versus Hyūga Shishu. Form the Seal of Confrontation—begin!"

Shishu quickly formed the seal, his Byakugan flaring wide.

Rukawa, hands stuffed in his pockets, didn't bother.

"Rukawa, in a proper spar, you're supposed to form the seal. It's a sign of respect."

Iruka frowned.

"Don't get it twisted. Trash like him doesn't deserve my respect."

Rukawa's voice was calm, steady.

"You… Uchiha Rukawa!"

Iruka's temper flared. This kid had ignored him one too many times.

But before he could scold him further, Shishu roared in fury.

"You arrogant bastard! I'll make you pay! Witness the power of the Byakugan!"

"Byakugan—activate!"

The veins on either side of Shishu's temples bulged grotesquely as his dojutsu awakened.

For his age, it was an impressive feat. No wonder he'd been so cocky.

He just couldn't believe Rukawa could have awakened the Sharingan already.

A genius with a bloodline limit versus someone without one—it was obvious who'd win.

At least, that's what Shishu thought.

But before he could finish that thought, Rukawa's figure vanished from his sight.

"Huh? Where—?"

The question barely formed when a sharp, searing pain exploded across his cheek.

It felt like half his face had been ripped off.

Smack!

The sound of the slap echoed across the entire training ground.

Shishu's face twisted grotesquely as his body was flung through the air, slamming into a massive tree over ten meters away.

Blood and broken teeth sprayed into the air.
