"WHAT?"
The word came out sharp and loud.
The agent stared at Min-ji as if she had misheard her.
"What did you just say?" she asked again, disbelief clear on her face.
Minji did not flinch.
"You heard me clearly," she replied. "I am not signing the contract."
Before she could finish the sentence, a low sound echoed through the room.
The door opened.
Everyone turned.
Two men walked in calmly, both dressed in dark suits, their expressions professional and unreadable. They did not look confused or surprised. They looked prepared.
The agent frowned. "Who are you people?"
One of the men stepped forward and placed a file on the table.
"My name is Attorney Han," he said. "And this is Attorney Lee."
He glanced briefly at Min-ji before continuing.
"We represent Mrs. Min-ji. We are here to formally terminate her contract with this agency."
The room went silent.
The agent's eyes widened.
