Minji remained seated after Dayo finished explaining the offer.
She did not rush to stand up or speak. Instead, she sat quietly, her fingers lightly pressed together as she sorted through her thoughts. Dayo noticed this and did not interrupt her. Over the years, he had learned that important decisions needed silence before words.
After a short moment, Dayo spoke again.
"Speaking of which," he said calmly, "what are the details of your current contract?"
Minji looked up at him.
"You mean with VREX?"
"Yes," Dayo replied. "I need to know exactly what we are dealing with."
She nodded and took a slow breath.
"It is not a high level contract," she began. "It is a C level contract."
Dayo listened attentively.
"I signed a five year deal," Minji continued. "I have already spent a little over two years with them."
"So you have about three years left," Dayo said.
"Yes," she confirmed. "Three years."
Dayo leaned back slightly. "That is manageable."
