However, she was a little apprehensive. She'd done plenty of undercover work, but this was the first time she'd been an undercover agent knowing the other person knew who she was, but still pretending they didn't.
"Prepare some information, preferably something he'll be interested in," Nick Fury instructed.
He wouldn't just send Natasha, but she was the best candidate, and he pinned a lot of hope on her.
However, Nick Fury had barely sent off Natasha when Coulson hurried in and said, "Boss, something's happened!"
"What is it?" Nick Fury frowned and asked.
"In a small town in New Mexico, someone saw a hammer fall from the sky. According to the video taken by the agents at the scene, it's very likely... Thor's Mjolnir!" Coulson said cautiously, glancing at Nick Fury.
"What? Mjolnir?" Nick Fury immediately shot up from his seat, as if his ass was on fire.
He had specifically instructed Coulson before; anything related to Mjolnir was of utmost importance.
The reason was simple: it concerned the safety of Earth, literally.
In the diary video, after Thor died, Loki led an army to invade Earth. Although the subsequent events weren't revealed, just thinking about it was suffocating.
They had done some degree of deduction based on that video, forming some speculations about Asgard and the Aesir.
Either they were the so-called legendary gods, possessing unimaginable powers that humans couldn't fathom, dealing with concepts like fate, time, and death.
Or, these so-called gods weren't that terrifying; they were just a group of technologically advanced aliens. But even so, for an alien civilization capable of interstellar travel, teleportation, and conquering the universe, Earth was insignificant.
Neither is something that present-day humans can even dream of.
Regardless of which of the two Asgard belongs to, if they decide to go to war with Earth because of this, Earth will be finished immediately.
Just like the Americans' extermination of the Native Americans!

Hearing this, Nick Fury gasped.
The test results were a hundred times more terrifying than he had imagined.
This wasn't just an indication of how dangerous the thing was; more importantly, it showed how unfathomable the power of Asgard itself was, capable of sealing such immense energy within the hammer.
Whether it was magic or technology, it was all unimaginably terrifying.
"But the most troublesome thing is that no one can lift that hammer. We've tried all sorts of methods. People can't lift it, trucks can't move it, and tanks are useless. In short, it's incredibly heavy!" Coulson said.
"But if it's so heavy, how can it rest so peacefully in front of such a pile of dirt?" Nick Fury questioned.
"Um, it's hard to explain. There are many things that current science can't explain. So, I think it might be some kind of magical ability!" Coulson said with a wry smile.
"Alright, let's keep an eye on it. Because we should soon be welcoming the guest we've really been waiting for, Thor!" Nick Fury said, also with a headache.
He'd dealt with all sorts of monsters and ghosts in his life. He'd even seen demonic possession. But a god descending? He'd never seen that before.
Before, there was Wonder Woman Diana, who was only a demigoddess. But the one about to appear was a real god.
Meanwhile, Lin Feng, the boss who was interviewing new recruits, was also meeting someone who left him dumbfounded.
