Chapter 91 - CHAPTER 90

"Are you doing here, Daisy?"

"Oh brother Daniel, I just came to inform you—our wedding is tomorrow, and I don't mind you spending your time with this whore till tomorrow. Bye."

Daisy walked away, leaving them both stunned.

Shocked, Tracy walked back inside the room as Daniel frowned, feeling frustrated. Then he decided to call Lucian, who picked up.

"It's Daniel."

"What is it, your sister?"

"What about her?"

"You didn't know? We are getting married tomorrow."

Lucian sat up instantly, his voice loud. "You're getting married tomorrow?"

Mirabel, who was nearby, froze in shock. She came closer as Lucian continued. "Tracy didn't know about this?"

Mirabel scratched her phone nervously and said softly, "Yes."

"How is she now?" Lucian asked.

"What do you mean?" Daniel demanded as he got up and went to Tracy. "Where are you going?"

"Leaving this house."

"Please, you can't leave me."

"Daniel, will you calm down? Who says I am leaving you? It's only right to leave your house since you will marry another girl. And you will want to leave me here, but I will go to Mirabel's house to stay there. I am just going to work before coming back to continue my two-week break. I only asked for two weeks off just to be with you—Since it turned out like this, it's only right that I should leave. Can you give me a ride to their house, or should I just go and come back?"

"I'll take you back," Daniel replied.

"Hello, Daniel, say something," she pressed.

"We'll be coming to your house," he answered, then cut the call.

"Are you really going now? We haven't eaten anything, and the food is ready. Let's sit and eat," he said.

Daniel nodded as Tracy carried her bags, walking down the stairs. She set them aside and sat at the table.

"Tracy, why are you acting so unbothered by this whole thing?" Daniel asked.

She looked at him but kept pushing his food back. "You think I'm unbothered by this? Of course I'm not. I'm sad, depressed, I hate myself. I feel like a loser who can't even get the person I'm in love with, the one I wished to spend all my life with. I feel like I've been stabbed in the heart, and I feel like crying.

But if there's one thing I've learned from all my painful experiences, it's this: there are some things you can have that will make you happy, but there are also things you can't have that will break you. Still, you'll have to move on from it.

Since you can't reach it, you'll cry, feel devastated, feel depressed, but still you'll move on. It's like losing your loved ones — you cry, you feel very sad, but at the end of the day, you move on. Because nothing ever lasts forever. Some things do, but some don't."
