His shoulders sagged, guilt carved into his features.

"Tracy, I'm sorry. It wasn't my choice. My parents arranged it. I didn't know how to tell you—I couldn't stand the thought of hurting you."

Tears stung her eyes, but she forced a trembling smile.

"Don't be sorry, Daniel. I understand. This isn't your fault. What matters is that we face it together. We'll find a way."

She nodded, slipping her hand into his. Together, they walked out into the night into there car before driving off, ready to face whatever came next.

Lucian, frown by this: "Fine, I won't touch you."

As Mirabel smirks, "Then I will," she kissed him.

Lucian smiled and carried her to the bedroom.

Tracy got up in the morning, preparing breakfast as the door rang. As she walked to the door with her apron, opening the door, revealing Daisy.

Tracy's smile dropped. "Hello, what can I do for you?"

"Oh, so Brother Daniel is dating a celebrity? Oh, I want to laugh," Daisy mocked.

"Yes, he is. And who are you, by the way?" Tracy asked.

"So you haven't heard? I am his fiancée, for short wife."

"Oh, he tells me about you. He loves me, and yours is an arranged marriage which he can never give you. What you want is his love—which I already have, needless to say," Tracy said mockingly.

Daisy became angry. Then Daniel came to Tracy's side, hugging her, kissing her neck.
