Chapter 335 – Some People Are Born Already in Rome
"My dear daughter, call me Father."
Inside a quiet room, a handsome white-haired man wearing black sunglasses held a small toy in his hand, gently teasing the baby lying in the cradle.
The baby had white hair as well, along with a pair of large crimson eyes and a chubby little face that looked like a porcelain doll, decorated with a bright, cheerful smile. Her tiny plump hands kept reaching toward the toy.
"Yi-ya, yi-ya."
Little Chiba, still unable to speak, made indistinct sounds, her eyes filled with longing as she stared at the toy in Yusuke's hand.
"My dear daughter, you love Father the most, don't you?" Yusuke said as he continued teasing her.
"Yi-ya, yi-ya."
Little Chiba looked at him happily.
"Alright, this is for you."
Yusuke handed the toy to Chiba's tiny hands. The little girl began playing with it, but after a short while, she lost interest. She lifted her head again and stretched out both hands toward Yusuke. It was very clear—she wanted to be held again.
Yusuke picked her up once more, carrying her as he walked from one room to another, playing with her along the way. The little girl burst into delighted laughter, clearly enjoying every moment of their time together.
Not long after, Kakashi entered and informed Yusuke that if he didn't act soon, he might disturb his niece's nap time. Hearing that, Yusuke—who had completely transformed into a daughter-obsessed father—decided to settle the matter immediately.
"I'll warn you first. Those evil birds aren't as simple as you think. To be precise, they aren't actually birds," Yusuke said.
"Then what should we do?" Kakashi asked.
He knew very well that the number of powerful individuals in Konoha was limited. Even Ōtsutsuki Kaguya herself didn't have many methods to deal with those creatures.
In his previous life, Kaguya had hated those 'birds' immensely and had ultimately used Yomotsu Hirasaka to transfer them all into a magma dimension.
"Just kill them outright. But honestly, those bastards in the ninja world still exist. A power like this… it seems someone has been revived," Yusuke said with a faint smile.
"Alright, good girl. Father still has a small matter to handle. Wait for me for a moment, okay?" Yusuke said as he looked at little Chiba.
After that, he stepped out of the room.
In an instant, terrifying heat erupted from Yusuke's body. The surroundings transformed into a horrifying sea of magma.
"Hell's Vein."
A colossal river of magma shot into the sky, instantly swallowing the strange birds hovering in the air. The creatures were devoured by the boiling magma and vanished without a trace above Konoha's sky.
"All done. Time to go back and see little Chiba," Yusuke said casually before his figure disappeared from the air.
"Alright, it's settled. Just do what you're supposed to do," Yusuke said with an annoyed tone.
"Nii-san, can you give us a hint?" Kakashi asked.
"You can ask Kaguya. She should know. And the one revived by that coffin isn't the original body. To be more precise, what was revived is only a replica," Yusuke said.
"Understood, Nii-san," Kakashi replied as he walked toward Kaguya.
It wasn't that Yusuke was unwilling to explain. The truth was, he himself only remembered the general outline and didn't have complete clarity either.
Yusuke shook his head and stopped thinking about it. Instead, he returned to accompany little Chiba and continued playing with her.
On the other side, Tsunade, Yūhi Kurenai, and Konan were strolling outside. They were buying tiny clothes and little shoes.
After all, as the young daughter of the Hatake family—and with such an unbelievably adorable appearance—little Chiba was truly loved by everyone.
"I seriously never expected that bastard could become such an obsessed father," Tsunade complained with a helpless expression.
Since little Chiba was born, the busiest person had clearly been Yusuke. The moment the child cried, Yusuke would immediately wake up.
What was even stranger was that, for some reason, every time little Chiba cried, the moment she was in Yusuke's arms, she would stop crying and start laughing instead. This made Kurenai, as her biological mother, feel a bit jealous.
"Come on, Tsunade-nee. By the way, aren't you afraid to tell him that news?" Kurenai interrupted Tsunade's complaints.
"Hmph. His mind is completely focused on little Chiba right now. How could he possibly care about me?" Tsunade said with a hint of jealousy.
"Hahaha, Tsunade-nee, Yusuke isn't that kind of person. Besides, it seems Nee-san isn't exactly in a position to say that either," Konan said with a soft chuckle.
"That's right. Who doesn't know how important Nee-san is in his heart?" Kurenai added.
"Alright, alright. I'll tell him later," Tsunade said in an annoyed tone.
Kurenai and Konan exchanged glances and smiled in amusement at Tsunade's attitude.
Not long after, news arrived that brought immense joy to the entire Hatake family—Tsunade was also pregnant.
Upon hearing the news, Yusuke was overjoyed. He deliberately cooked an entire table full of dishes, and his diligent, attentive behavior left everyone speechless.
But they all understood why. Yusuke still remembered how painful the process had been for Kurenai before.
Time passed quickly.
In the blink of an eye, several years had gone by.
Today was an incredibly joyful day. The Hatake family once again welcomed two new members—a boy and a girl, a pair of dragon and phoenix twins.
Hatake Sakumo was so happy that he could barely contain himself.
Their names were given directly by Yusuke.
The older sister was named Senju China, in accordance with a promise he had once made to Tsunade.
The younger brother was named Hatake Ryoha.
What surprised Yusuke the most was that little Ryoha had actually inherited his Six Eyes. However, strangely enough, the ability manifested only after birth. When not activated, his eyes returned to a normal state.
Meanwhile, his eldest daughter inherited Yusuke's crimson Rinnegan, and his other daughter inherited the Tenseigan.
This was something Yusuke had accidentally witnessed when he used his time-related power. He couldn't help but fall silent, recalling a certain saying—
Some people are born already in Rome.
There was still another piece of joyful news.
Naruto was getting married.
The elders who had good relationships with Naruto began planning his wedding. Minato and Kushina were extremely happy, and Uzumaki Kushina was very satisfied with Hinata.
At one point, Minato felt a bit awkward because he had thought Naruto would choose Sakura, but clearly Naruto was different from him.
There was also one interesting detail—Naruto invited Yusuke to be the witness at his wedding.
Naturally, Yusuke did not refuse. So, under Yusuke's arrangements, the wedding became somewhat… strange, although the entire process went smoothly.
Sakura felt extremely jealous as she watched Naruto and Hinata, and she unconsciously thought of Sasuke. Tsunade, as her sensei, had given her some advice. Whether she listened or not was entirely up to Sakura herself.
It was worth mentioning that Hyūga Neji, who was supposed to die in the original story, did not die. He and Tenten became a couple. One of them became a jōnin team leader, while the other opened a private ninja weapon shop.
Ino, for some reason, did not end up with Sai as in the original story and chose to remain single.
Shikamaru simply stared deeply at Temari, who stood beside Yusuke, then shook his head and said nothing more. The strangest thing was the wedding gift he gave Naruto—
A soak in the hot springs.
