Chapter 336 – Madara vs. Isshiki: The Final Deciding Battle
As time passed, within a special dimension, two white-robed figures stood facing each other. Around their bodies, black spheres slowly rotated, drifting between the two of them.
They stood opposite one another in silence.
"Uchiha Madara, do you truly have no intention of joining me?" Ōtsutsuki Isshiki asked as he stared at Madara.
"I have absolutely no interest in the ambitions of someone like you who wants to destroy the ninja world," Uchiha Madara replied coldly.
"Ambition? The great Uchiha Madara can actually say something like that? Ambition? Join me—let us unify the ninja world, and then conquer ten thousand worlds. Wouldn't that be far better?" Ōtsutsuki Isshiki shouted loudly.
"Hahahahaha!"
Madara did not respond immediately. Instead, he burst into loud laughter.
"You truly think that by working together with me, we can dominate the ninja world? Don't joke around. As long as that man still exists in this world, no one would dare make a move," Madara said in a cold tone.
"Hmph! I admit he is indeed very powerful, but he is still just a mortal human. Once we devour all the chakra in the ninja world, that man will only meet death," Ōtsutsuki Isshiki said as he recalled the man who had once left him in such a miserable state.
Especially because Yusuke hadn't killed him, Isshiki's pride had been completely shattered. As if in Yusuke's eyes, he was nothing more than an ant that could be crushed at any moment.
"You don't understand. That man's power is no longer something that can be defeated by numbers. Even with you added in, defeating him would still be impossible," Uchiha Madara said with a tone of disdain.
"To think Uchiha Madara could be this disappointing. You truly disappoint me," Ōtsutsuki Isshiki said.
"Say whatever you want. After I kill you, I'll extract the Ten-Tails inside your body. I will defeat that man," Madara declared with unwavering resolve.
"That depends on whether you have the ability to do so," Isshiki replied arrogantly.
Since their conversation led nowhere, the two immediately moved and began to fight. There were no world-shattering jutsu unleashed.
Instead, the battle was dominated by taijutsu. With the Rinnegan possessed by both of them, ninjutsu became far less effective. Because of that, they could only exchange physical attacks.
However, it was clear that Isshiki, who had become a Ten-Tails Jinchūriki, was far stronger. Madara, who was only an imperfect Ten-Tails Jinchūriki, even though he had fused with the chakra of the ninja world, was still in a weaker position. At the very least, the Rinne Sharingan on his forehead had yet to open.
As the battle unfolded, Yusuke had already sensed it. Two beings at the Six Paths level, even if they were in a different dimension, still emitted extremely clear auras.
"Pa… Papa, what's wrong?" asked a little white-haired girl with an adorable face, looking at Yusuke with large, innocent eyes.
"It's nothing. My dear daughter, what do you want to eat today? Father will take you," Yusuke said as he looked at Chiba.
"I want to eat Papa's cooking," Hatake Chiba said in a soft and sweet voice.
"Alright. Father will take you home and cook something delicious for you," Yusuke said as he gently stroked Chiba's soft white hair.
"Let's fly, Papa. Chiba doesn't want to go straight home," the little girl said as she puffed her lips.
Her tiny cheeks puffed up adorably, making her look irresistibly cute. Yusuke smiled faintly. A small request like this was something a good father would naturally fulfill.
"Zeus!" Yusuke called out.
A white cloud quickly appeared in the sky and floated toward them. The cloud opened its large eyes and looked at Yusuke and Chiba.
"Master, Young Miss," the white cloud greeted softly.
"Da Bai, you're here!" Chiba exclaimed happily.
She jumped down from Yusuke's arms and ran toward Zeus with her short legs, then hugged the cloud's soft body.
"Young Miss, are we going home?" Zeus asked patiently.
Zeus had originally been created by Yusuke as a means of transportation. Although its strength wasn't weak—even without any restraining power, even a Kage-level shinobi might not necessarily defeat it—Zeus had been given to Chiba as a birthday gift.
"Yes! Papa, hurry, let's go home. Make Chiba something delicious. Chiba also wants sweet food," Chiba said.
Yusuke smiled warmly, then climbed on together with Chiba. Zeus did not dare relax and immediately gathered moisture in the air, forming a barrier around them to block the wind ahead.
"Papa, look! That mountain is so beautiful," Chiba said as she pointed forward with her chubby little hand.
"Yes, it really is beautiful. If Chiba likes it, Father will bring it home for you," Yusuke said with a smile.
"No, it's too big," Chiba said as she shook her head.
With Zeus's speed, father and daughter soon returned home.
"Moms! Chiba's home!" Chiba shouted before Zeus even fully landed, then jumped down.
"Little Chiba is back," Konan said as she lifted Chiba into her arms.
"Mom Konan, hehe. Chiba saw many big mountains, and oceans, and also animals bigger than Grandpa White Hair's big toad," Chiba said as she waved her hands around to illustrate their size.
Konan listened attentively and responded patiently to every story Chiba told.
"Mom Konan, where are my little brother and little sister?" Chiba asked curiously.
"Your little brother and sister are still too small. They're sleeping," Konan replied.
"Oh… I see," Chiba said with a slightly disappointed tone. It was obvious she wanted to share her stories with them.
"Later. Wait until your little brother and sister wake up," Konan said gently.
Meanwhile, the battle between Madara and Isshiki had reached its final stage. The horn on Madara's head had been broken, while Isshiki had lost one arm. Both of them looked heavily battered.
Although Madara's taijutsu was weaker than Isshiki's, his Rinnegan dōjutsu was extremely effective at countering Isshiki's eye techniques.
On the surface, their strength appeared evenly matched, but Madara knew that if this battle continued, he would inevitably lose. However, this time, he could not afford to lose.
"Summoning Technique!"
Nine massive clouds of smoke appeared, and soon nine enormous shadows slowly revealed themselves on the battlefield.
"That… the Tailed Beasts!" Isshiki's eyes filled with greed.
If his Ten-Tails devoured the chakra of the Tailed Beasts, he would surely become an unprecedented being—extremely powerful.
But Madara would never give him that opportunity. Chakra chains immediately appeared from Madara's body and instantly pulled the Tailed Beasts into him.
As the Nine Tails entered his body, all of Madara's wounds fully healed. However, the horn on his head did not return—it was clear he had intentionally left it that way.
Not long after, the closed eye on his forehead reopened.
A pair of blood-red Rinnegan appeared.
"To think Kaguya's power could reach this level. If I devour that eye, and add two Rinnegan on top of it, I could open the golden Rinnegan," Isshiki said greedily as he stared at Madara.
Madara was naturally aware of Isshiki's intentions, but he ignored them. Now, not only had his stamina fully recovered, he had also grown far stronger.
"This bastard… can't he be a little gentler?" Kurama's irritated voice echoed from within Madara's body.
"Silence," Madara snapped coldly. He could not afford to lose focus even for a moment.
"Hmph," Kurama snorted.
Now they were in a state of mutual connection—if one benefited, both benefited; if one suffered, both suffered.
Although Naruto still possessed backup chakra, if Kurama's main body were devoured, that chakra would also disappear.
