"Is that... Mo Wang?"
Kiana and the others stared at the figure shrouded in a black aura, looking like a demon god, and subconsciously gulped.
No matter how you looked at it, that great demon king-like appearance had absolutely nothing to do with his usual lazy-fish persona.
If it weren't for the fact that Mo Wang's Honkai energy level wasn't off the charts, Kiana and the others would have thought he had already turned into a Herrscher.
At the very least... when Mei had turned into a Herrscher, she wasn't nearly as terrifying as Mo Wang was right now.
"Mo Wang!"
Kiana stood up, wanting to rush over and check on him.
"Don't be rash." However, Bronya stopped the impulsive Kiana.
"Why?!" Kiana asked Bronya anxiously.
"The Bronya feels that something is very wrong with Mo Wang right now. It's best not to go over for the time being," Bronya said to Kiana with a serious expression.
"That's right, Kiana. Be careful," even Mei chimed in, reminding her.
"But..." Kiana wanted to argue, but the words died in her throat as she involuntarily recalled a scene from a manga she had read:
The mighty hero finally slays the demon king. But just as his companions are about to celebrate, the hero suddenly turns evil and kills all of them.
"Don't tell me Mo Wang is going to suddenly turn evil and stab me?"
Thinking of this possibility, Kiana no longer rushed forward.
After all, she couldn't say for sure about others, but given how she usually treated Mo Wang, even if he didn't turn evil, there was an eighty percent chance he would stab her anyway, right?
"Wait, Mo Wang... he's moving."
Mei, who had been observing Mo Wang, noticed that his body was faintly trembling.
"Ouch, ouch, ow~ My old back, it's gonna break!"
Just then, Mo Wang's moans reached the ears of the three Valkyries.
"Somebody! I can't move! Someone give me a hand!"
Mo Wang painfully turned his head and looked at the three Valkyries behind him with a grief-stricken expression.
Seriously? He had been standing here for ages, and not a single one of them had noticed he couldn't move?
"It's Mo Wang!"
Hearing Mo Wang's voice, the three of them no longer hesitated and rushed to his side.
That cheap-sounding voice... who else could it be but Mo Wang?
"Ouch, ouch, ouch! You guys, be gentle! My bones are about to fall apart!"
Mo Wang was now being supported by Kiana and Bronya on either side.
But because Bronya was too short, he couldn't even get his arm around her properly.
"Stop complaining. What happened to you? Weren't you just fine a moment ago?"
Kiana looked at Mo Wang strangely.
How did this guy go from looking like he was about to fight the heavens and the earth to an eighty-year-old man who had thrown out his back in the span of a second?
"Tch. As expected, ten-plus times gravity is still too much for me right now. I'm still just a little bit away from becoming Super Mo Wang."
Now that Mei had taken Bronya's place, Mo Wang's other side finally felt a little better.
But even so, every movement was still excruciatingly painful.
"What Super Mo Wang? Still making jokes at a time like this, honestly."
Kiana gave Mo Wang a light slap, but the next moment, she heard a crisp sound.
CRACK!
Hearing the sound of Mo Wang's bone breaking, Mo Wang sucked in a sharp breath.
"S-so painful... I think it's broken!" Mo Wang's face was exceptionally pale, and his trembling hand seemed to be pointing at the culprit.
"A-are you okay? Is it serious?" Seeing that Mo Wang had broken a bone from a single touch, Kiana waved her hands frantically, trying to check on him.
However, this undoubtedly made things worse for the already grievously wounded Mo Wang.
"M-my King's Power!"
Mo Wang looked at his broken arm, feeling like he wanted to cry but had no tears.
You white-haired girl! I kindly saved you, and you try to murder me! What are your intentions?! Don't tell me you want to inherit my credit card debt?!
"I-I didn't mean to!" Kiana panicked and quickly tried to help again.
"D-don't! I... I can manage."
Mo Wang gritted his teeth and said to Kiana.
"Kiana, you should just go stand over there and play."
Even Mei couldn't watch anymore. You have to know when to be serious, even if you are unreliable!
These two were really...
"I'm taking Mo Wang to the infirmary now. You two should go help the Class Monitor. Those mechs over there still haven't been cleared out."
Mei shooed the two of them away, sending them off to deal with the Titan mechs.
"Wait! I have one more thing to say."
Just then, Mo Wang suddenly stopped Mei, who was leading him away.
He pointed to the pile of mush on the ground and said to Kiana and Bronya.
"This pile of stuff, remember to tell the Principal that I killed it. And, make sure she doesn't throw it in the incinerator and cremate it!"
"This thing can be sold for a good price later. Remember not to let that spendthrift woman waste it!"
Kiana and Bronya watched Mo Wang as he slowly walked away, and they couldn't help but look at each other.
In each other's eyes, they both saw deep guilt.
"Mo Wang... is he okay? He... he'll be fine, right?" Kiana looked at Mo Wang, who was stumbling with every step, and couldn't help but worry.
"It's hard to say. The Bronya thinks that Mo Wang must have used some very dangerous technique. The Bronya once read in a book that in the Class Monitor's country, some martial arts are very dangerous."
"For example, using suicidal techniques to briefly become stronger to kill the enemy, or techniques that require you to harm yourself first before you can harm your opponent."
"Perhaps Mo Wang used such a method as well."
Hearing Bronya's words, Kiana's face grew even more worried.
"However, The Bronya has also heard that in the Class Monitor's country, there is a saying that good people don't live long, but bad people live for a thousand years. If it's Mo Wang, he should be able to live for a very long time, right?"
Hearing this, Kiana's expression brightened a little.
"That's right. That bad guy, Mo Wang, will definitely be fine."
Although both of them were very worried about Mo Wang, they hadn't forgotten what Mei had said.
Soon, the two of them started running towards where the Anti-Entropy mechs had appeared.
Unfortunately, it seemed that Mo Wang had forgotten to remind them not to completely dismantle all the mechs before he left.
After all, even as scrap metal, they could still be sold for some money.
And after the two of them left, what no one knew was that from the bushes by the side of the road, a middle-aged man with glasses emerged.
No one knew how long he had been standing there.
"Cocolia, so you've really gone this far?"
The man looked at the pile of mangled flesh on the ground, his brow tightly furrowed.
After much deliberation, a power identical to the one Joyce's clone had used appeared in his hand.
With a twist of space, the pile of mangled flesh vanished without a trace.
