(a few minutes later)
"So, you think that we are from different worlds?" Adonis tells Clad as they walk along a barely lit path inside the cave.
"Yeah, that would explain why you've never heard of the Naroth kingdom and how you were in the year 219."
"Yeah..." Adonis nods to what Clad is talking about, although he barely understands anything he is saying.
As the two walk further into the cave, they run into a monster, monkey-like in appearance, way bigger than any monkey when it comes to size, and with dark green scales all over its body and piercing yellow eyes.
"A giant scaled monkey, what's that doing in a cave?" Clad says, surprised at seeing such a creature here
The creature suddenly charged in, leaping towards Adonis. Its jaw widened, ready to bite him the second it was near his neck. But fortunately for him, Clad, using his sword, cuts its head clean off its shoulders.
"Let's move," he says, slowly tilting his head towards Adonis.
"Right..."
Clad and Adonis move deeper into the cave and start hearing noises of water, and decide to go towards the source of that sound. and notice a pink-haired woman in ragged clothes, lying on the ground unconscious.
"That's the slave me and Jill freed a while ago." Clad said, shocked by the fact that she is still alive.
"Slave? Motherfucker you own slaves!?" Adonis said, completely baffled by what Clad said.
"I don't, I didn't buy her either," Clad replies, wondering what made Adonis this angry.
"I thought Slavery was abolished years ago, so why the fuck would you guys own slaves!?" Adonis shouts at Clad angrily.
"I was working under an organization called The Union under a man named Andras to abolish it and we ran into her during an auction and my teamate bought her with the plan of freeing her later."
"So I don't like you assuming that I am a bad person." Clad replies with a piercing look on his face.
Adonis stayed silent for a few seconds but understood what he meant and apologized for acting like that, but Clad didn't mind saying.
"It's fine, let's just avoid becoming enemies."
Clad walks towards the slave and wakes her up, and she recognises him, calling him "master's friend." But Clad tells her not to call him that and that he finds it weird.
