(Back to Clad)
As the trio continues to walk the White hallway path, Adonis starts to converse with Clad about the woman currently carrying him.
"Clad"
"What is it?"
"For how long did you know that the slave girl was a demon?"
"Since the second I saw her, why?"
"I couldn't tell at all, thought must have been something else to it." Adonis adds, while scratching his head.
"Hmm, then its probably because I am a dryad."
"A dryad? What's that?"
"Uhhhh." Clad tries to find words that could fit the description.
"A half-human, half-tree person"
"My kind are more sensitive to energy after all."
"Oh, and her name is Lylia, by the way." Clad adds
"Thanks, Lylia, mind putting me down please?" Adonis says
The second Adonis asks her to put him down, she lets go of him, causing him to fall onto the cold floor of the hallway.
"Ow!?" Adonis shouts as he falls, hitting his head on the ground.
"Could have been more gentle, man!"
"Sorry" Lylia replies.
Adonis gets back up, and the three continue to walk for a bit before running into another room, but this room, unlike the other, was barely lit, had a few broken pillars, and water up to their ankles. As the trio marched into the room, the entry behind them quickly closed, making the room have barely any light at all.
!!!
"Stay on guard." Clad says, as he unsheathes his sword, preparing for any upcoming encounter. And Adonis unleashes an unknown energy from his body, yellow in color but bright as a small light.
"He's an aura user?" Clad thought before his thoughts were interrupted by a subtle noise of multiple footsteps in the water coming towards the group.
Suddenly, a huge bug-like monster launched itself towards them at incredible speeds from the dark areas of the room. But Clad, who was prepared for an ambush, quickly positioned his sword for a counterattack, cutting it cleanly in half.
Another bug lunges towards Adonis, but Adonis quickly handles it by rapidly punching it using one of his techniques, sending it flying.
[BULLET FIST]!
But as he repositioned himself, he noticed something. Something very alarming, a horde of creatures is running directly towards them, and they are closing in fast. Adonis told Clad and Lylia about it, but it seems like they already noticed, as Clad seems to have sheathed his sword again, but his energy is concentrating at one point, his sword.
"Adonis, Lylia, get down!" he shouted as his sword started to materialize flowers
The two of them quickly crouch, then, with a swift motion, Clad unsheathed his blade. As he swung his blade in a full circle motion, an immense amount of pink and white flowers followed his blade, making it seem like a smooth and calm dance.
[FULL BLOOM]!
The monsters stopped moving as they all fell to the ground, revealing that they have been cut in half, spilling blue blood in the water, which disgusted Adonis a little bit.
"ew"
Clad cleans his sword with the water from the floor. As he does so, he sees a staircase with an entrance at the end of it. Clad sheates it back then tells the rest of the group that they should check it out, and they agree as there's nothing else to do.
As they walk toward the new pair of stairs, they hesitate before climbing, remembering the last time they climbed stairs in this place.
"Ladies first." Adonis says, with a harmless smile on his face.
Lylia is slightly irritated by what he said, but doesn't feel like making a scene, so she goes up the stairs, and like last time, nothing happens.
Clad and Adonis follow and are surprised that nothing happened to them as well. A few minutes of walking later, they can feel stronger winds coming from the path, so they continue to walk forward and see an open entrance with blinding light, which they walk through. The trio walked out and paused for a moment. They saw an immense amount of flowers and green grass. The beautiful scenery left them in awe as they were stuck in a cave for an uncertain number of days.
