Chapter 71 - Chapter 71 – The Situation in Infernal Realm

The reason why Sadius chose to take his Earth God clone and Destruction God clone along with his true body to the Infernal Realm…

First, it was because Doehring Cowart's soul pearls were nearly exhausted.

There was no easy way to obtain new soul pearls, so Sadius planned to take Doehring to Infernal Realm.

With the Coiling Dragon Ring, a damaged soul-defense Sovereign Artifact, it was far more cost-effective to use amethysts than soul pearls.

That was why he chose to bring the Earth God clone.

As for the Destruction God clone, it was the one most compatible with the Oblivion Sword Intent, making it his strongest combat clone.

Bringing the Destruction God clone to Infernal Realm was naturally a given.

Nearby, Liya nudged Nien with her elbow.

It was clear she also wished to leave the Yulan Continent.

"Lord Alliance Leader, can we go to the Infernal Realm with you?" Nien asked.

Sadius glanced at the two of them, slightly surprised.

If they went with him to the Infernal Realm… and if Bebe were no longer born on the Yulan Plane, what would Beirut think when he found out?

"Anyone can come. But think carefully before you decide."

Then he turned his gaze.

"Dolantell, you lived in the Divine Realm of Life before. You should have some understanding of the Four Supreme Planes. Can you explain the situation to everyone?"

Dolantell nodded.

After losing two of his clones in the past, he had since comprehended the Laws of Darkness.

As long as he continued to train diligently, he would eventually regain Divinity, so he was no longer obsessed over refining Divine Sparks.

"Everyone, you should already know this—through planar teleportation arrays, one can reach the Four Supreme Planes and the Seven Divine Planes."

"The Four Supreme Planes were created at the dawn of time by the Four Supreme Overgods. The Seven Divine Planes were created by the seven Sovereigns of the Seven Laws."

"On the Four Supreme Planes, elemental essences are far denser than in material planes. The Seven Divine Planes, however, only have their corresponding element in great concentration."

Dolantell smiled faintly.

"Next, I'll explain some of what I know about Infernal Realm, the Supreme Plane of Destruction. It's all secondhand knowledge—after all, I only lived in my material plane and the Divine Realm of Life."

"Infernal Realm is the plane with the heaviest killing and slaughter among the Four Supreme Planes and the Seven Divine Planes. Every single day, countless divine experts die in battle there."

The others couldn't help but gasp in astonishment.

"Infernal Realm consists of five continents and two seas: the Violet Flame Continent, Baluoke Continent, Muya Continent, Blood Ridge Continent, and Bluefire Continent; and the Starmist Sea and the Chaotic Sea. Altogether, it is divided into 108 prefectures, each prefecture spanning more than a billion kilometers in radius!"

A billion kilometers… and there were one hundred and eight such territories?!

To put this into perspective, the entire Yulan Continent was only about twenty to thirty thousand kilometers across.

Just one prefecture of Infernal Realm was countless times larger than Yulan. It was terrifying beyond words.

"Usually, when someone from a material plane first enters Infernal Realm, the Sovereign Legion stationed at the teleportation arrays will send them to some prefecture.

Most will join a family clan or tribe, because if you wander Infernal Realm alone without understanding the situation, you're most likely to be killed by bandits."

"Infernal Realm also has bandits?"

"Of course," Dolantell replied.

"Even in the Divine Realm of Life—where conflict is the least—there are still bandits. They move in groups, ambushing passing Gods.

Even Midgod experts can easily perish at their hands."

Everyone fell silent.

Infernal Realm truly was a dangerous place.

"Next, let me tell you about the three greatest powers in Infernal Realm. Strictly speaking, there are more than three, but they are generally categorized into three major ones: The Sovereign Legions, the Prefecture Armies, and the Fiend Fortresses scattered throughout Infernal Realm. Of course, there are also many powerful family clans in Infernal Realm, such as the legendary Four Divine Beast Clan, but I don't know much about them."

"The Sovereign Legions, as the name suggests, was created by the mighty Sovereigns themselves. They oversee and control entire continents or seas on their behalf."

"The Prefecture Armies are the military forces of the Prefecture Lords, responsible for governing the affairs of each prefecture."

"If you want to join a Sovereign Legion or become a Prefecture Soldier, you must have become a God through your own comprehension, and you must have fused profound mysteries to reach the Midgod level. Even then, you still have to pass selection trials before being accepted."

The group sighed.

Most of them were merely Lowgods, and many had only become Gods by refining Divine Sparks.

For them, joining the Sovereign Legion or becoming a Prefecture Soldier was simply impossible.

"And then there are the Fiend Fortresses. They're a unique force spread across all of Infernal Realm. They don't control any territory—think of them as an assassin organization. They distribute and receive all sorts of missions. Anyone can pay a certain amount of inkstones to go to a Fiend Fortress and accept missions. If you complete enough missions, you can become a noble Fiend."

"Fiends are ranked from one-star to seven-star. The weakest one-star Fiend is at least as strong as a Midgod. The strongest seven-star Fiends are top-tier Highgod experts, the apex among all Highgods."

"Oh, and the Infernal Realm's currency is called inkstones. A simple ordinary Lowgod artifact can be exchanged for only five to seven inkstones."

"That's all I know about Infernal Realm," Dolantell finished his explanation.

Sadius nodded.

Most of what Dolantell said was correct.

If it weren't inconvenient for him to reveal too much, he could have given them even more detailed information.

"Alright. Now you all have some understanding of Infernal Realm. Remember—while Lowgods are already apex experts on the Yulan Plane, in Infernal Realm they are merely the bottom rung of existence. Think carefully about this. If any of you still wish to go to Infernal Realm, you can come find me. Traveling together means we can look out for one another."

Everyone fell into contemplation.

"Lord, can I go to Infernal Realm with you?" The Kui Ox, Usor, asked.

"You and Dolantell will remain on the Yulan Plane for now. I still have some research that requires your help."

Usor was a dragon-type magical beast. Though not a super Divine Beast, his dragon bloodline was far more potent than ordinary Saint-level dragons.

Sadius decided to keep him on the Yulan Continent. After all, whether it was the Baruch clan descendants or his own future offspring, they would all need dragon bloodline awakenings.

Usor's dragon blood was definitely the best choice. As for Dolantell, Sadius was mainly interested in his Druid profession. Although the Yulan Continent did have elves as a race, they had no Druid class.

After finishing his discussion with everyone, Sadius returned to the Royal Palace of the Pouant Empire. His son, Luoshen, was now seventeen years old, having become a powerful Dragon Soul Warrior.

After transforming into his dragon form, Luoshen could reach ninth rank strength.

Soon, with a bit more improvement, his dragon form would step into the Saint-level, and by then, Sadius planned to begin teaching him the Laws of Destruction.

Over the years, Sadius discovered that Dragon Soul Warriors and Dragonblood Warriors indeed had some differences.

Dragonblood Warriors who awakened their bloodline naturally could be recognized as Azure Dragon descendants at a glance.

Dragon Soul Warriors, however, after transforming, bore Sadius' own spiked carapace, resembling the transformation Linley had in the original story.

Of course, the scales were azure, instantly marking them as Azure Dragon lineage.

I also have Azure Dragon blood in my body. I wonder… can I mimic the Dragon Transformation like an Azure Dragon descendant?

Sadius pondered silently.

His true body was still the Spiked Armored Dragon, but after using Azure Dragon Transformation, he directly became a true Azure Dragon.

Sadius remained intrigued by the Azure Dragon Clan's Dragon Pool.

If he could awaken a water-element innate ability there, wouldn't that complete his path to a Four-soul Mutation?

If I had absolute strength—or a Sovereign as my backer—it would be effortless to go to the Skyrite Mountain Range and borrow the Dragon Pool.

Sadius mused for a moment longer.
