That day, the skies of the Yulan Plane were tinged with a faint red.
Sadius led a group consisting of Dylin and his two sons, Cesar, Nien, Liya, Harsel, and the High Priestess Catherine toward the Extreme Northern Icefields.
A total of ten Lowgod-level beings moved together in a grand procession.
They were preparing to leave the Yulan Plane…and head for Infernal Realm.
Indeed, even the former Saint Tyrant Dragon Harsel had recently fully comprehended the Evil Profound Mystery of the Edicts of Darkness, thereby becoming a Lower God.
After becoming a deity, he had decided to follow Sadius to the Infernal Realm, unwilling to let his life waste away in stagnation on the Yulan Plane.
As for Catherine—The last time Sadius had given her a Lower God spark, she had passed it on to her disciple.
Now, naturally, the Yulan Empire had gained a new deity. So, Catherine decided to leave the Yulan Plane and head for the Divine Realm of Life.
If she stayed on the Yulan Plane any longer, she felt it would be nearly impossible to make any further breakthroughs.
So, she joined Sadius' party to the Extreme Northern Icefields. At the Extreme Northern Icefields, the familiar guardian, Hodan, was still there.
Ever since the last time Sadius had beaten him, Hodan had been twitchy and on edge, thinking everyone who approached was Sadius.
Sure enough, as he saw a group flying in from the south—Lower Gods.
All Lower Gods.
Soon, Hodan's gaze landed on the figure of Sadius among them. Terrified, Hodan immediately wanted to turn and flee.
"Hodan, why are you running? We're leaving the Yulan Plane."
Sadius' calm divine sense transmitted directly to Hodan. Hodan froze mid-step, incredulous, then hurriedly returned.
"Lord Sadius, are you… preparing to head to a Higher Plane?"
Hodan forced a flattering smile.
Finally! Sadius was going to leave.
Hodan suddenly felt like his days of suffering were finally coming to an end.
Before, Sadius had robbed him of every single treasure he carried—Inkstones, Divine Sparks, artifacts—everything.
Hodan had lived in constant fear that Sadius would come back and repeat the ordeal.
"Don't think I don't know what you're scheming. I'll still leave one divine clone behind on the Yulan Plane. Don't even think about causing trouble."
Hodan's expression instantly turned bitter. He remembered what Sadius had said last time:
If Hodan ever provoked him again, he'd kill Hodan's divine clone—even if it meant offending the Sovereign's army.
"Enough talk. Activate the planar transport array. Catherine will go to the Divine Realm of Life. The rest of us are going to Infernal Realm."
Hodan looked around. There were ten people present.
Ten Lower Gods.
Looks like during his tenure as planar guardian, his quota of transports was being completed quite nicely.
"Very well, my lords. Please."
With that, Hodan activated the planar arrays leading to Infernal Realm and to the Divine Realm of Life.
The group stepped into the transport formation.
"Dylin, you're really something! You didn't even tell me about this trip!"
A figure suddenly appeared in the distance.
"Tarossa?"
Dylin turned to see the newcomer.
Indeed, it was his so-called "good brother," Tarossa.
"Tarossa, the transmission has already started. If you want to teleport, you'll have to wait."
Hodan's voice was calm. A moment later, Sadius and the others completely vanished.
Tarossa arrived before Hodan, looking slightly exasperated.
"Hurry up. I want to go to Infernal Realm too."
"As you wish."
Hodan's lips curled into a faint smile.
He certainly wouldn't tell Tarossa that from the Yulan Plane to Infernal Realm, people don't always arrive at the same teleportation location.
Moments later, Tarossa too vanished into the transport formation.
Infernal Realm. The Redbud Continent.
Mirror Moon Cliff.
Two enormous planar teleportation arrays were present there.
Suddenly, one of them lit up with a dim glow.
A group of figures began to appear.
"This time there's quite a few of them?"
A purple-robed man stood by the teleportation array, watching.
Soon, nine figures stepped forth.
"Nine Lower Gods? Which material plane is this from? Did their plane's entire crop of deities all come to Infernal Realm?"
Several members of the Redbud Army muttered quietly to each other.
"Or perhaps they were released from that plane's Planar Prison? The planar guardian probably didn't allow them to remain in the material plane."
After a brief discussion, they stopped whispering.
Infernal Realm.
"Welcome… to the world of the strong."
A Mid God approached the teleportation array.
"So, this is Infernal Realm? The elemental essence here… it's truly dense!"
Liya's eyes sparkled with excitement as she looked around. The others also began murmuring softly among themselves.
"Quiet. I will only say this once. If you fail to listen, and you die… don't blame me."
The purple-robed Mid God's tone turned cold and commanding.
"You nine from the material plane—go stand over there."
He pointed toward an open clearing nearby.
There were already many people gathered there—most were only Saint-level, with just a few at the Lower God level.
"You will sit there quietly. No talking. No wandering. You will obey our commands. If you don't… your lives will end here. Tomorrow morning, we'll take you away."
As he spoke, the purple-robed Mid God released his aura.
The moment his divine presence was revealed, it was clear—all the purple-robed guards here were Mid Gods.
"Everyone, just stay calm and rest," Sadius told his group.
Then he led them toward the clearing. They sat together and closed their eyes, silently attuning themselves.
"These newcomers aren't bad. Unlike other rookies from material planes, thinking they're still emperors of their little backwater worlds."
Meanwhile, new arrivals continued to step out of the teleportation arrays—most were Saint-level beings.
After all, the majority of deities in material planes either stayed to enjoy worship from mortals or were locked in Planar Prisons; few chose to venture to the Higher Planes.
The group was filled with curiosity about their surroundings.
But following Sadius' instructions, they obediently stayed seated, eyes closed, meditating quietly.
Suddenly, commotion broke out. A newly arrived Saint-level fool had caused a disturbance.
In a blur, a black-haired, purple-robed burly man appeared, a black cudgel materializing in his hand.
The cudgel instantly enlarged, then smashed down in a single blow.
BANG!
A black phantom struck, and the hapless Saint-level immediately became a puddle of flesh and mud.
Sadius watched this scene, and it felt eerily familiar.
Yes—this exact event had been described in the Coiling Dragon book.
It seemed… some things always repeated.
"That purple-robed Mid God is also a cultivator of the Edicts of Destruction. That seemingly simple strike just now combined material attack and soul attack profound mysteries. If I could learn from him, perhaps I'd find the path to a third profound mystery fusion."
Sadius' thoughts stirred.
But… he was currently just a Lower God. Even if his true strength surpassed theirs, there were too many Mid Gods here. He couldn't possibly take them all on.
The order was clear: Remain silent. Do not move. He couldn't risk breaking it. So, for now, he gave up on seeking any direct exchange.
But it didn't matter.
Once they reached a city in Infernal Realm, he could naturally purchase books and information on such techniques.
