The only thing Serena felt about being back in the city was relief. She went to the house and settled into her bed, and there she was reading legal papers, she was caught up in another Lawsuit, she was suspected of the murder of the mayor and his son.
She knew it was just a matter of time till this happened, on the very day her charges were removed, at a similar time, the mayor lost his life.
The very day she successfully escaped prison, that was when Caspian died, but they could not arrest her, because she did not leave a thing they could use to trace her.
She did not dwell on it, but decided to delve deeper into her attempt to figure out how she escaped the mirror; she had this strong yearning to be out of there with her entire being, and she tried to replicate that.
After hours of trying, she noticed she was getting closer to finding out the exact way she did it and replicating it, but she could also tell it would take a considerably long time to figure the whole thing out thoroughly.
In the end, she decided to leave it there and not test her limits. What she had achieved was enough, at least for the time being. If she tried to focus too much on one thing, it would cause her to lose sight of other things that also matter, but are so readily available that their importance is undermined
She decided to go to the office to see how it was doing, as of the moment Serene technologies had amassed a total of one billion and a little more in debts, and for profits they had around hundreds of millions, so they were still not quite there yet, and despite paying everything she got after Salary distribution, they were still deep in debt, hence, she had to come up with another game changing idea.
While she was there, she received an epiphany out of the blue and decided to do something risky. She wanted to make a human aid, that would basically look like metal bars that outlined the human frame, and these would give extra strength, mainly for those who needed it the most, constructors, farmers, and all other hard laborers, it was made with top notch materials and had impeccable durability, it would practically replace heavy machinery as it did not pollute the environment, and was more cost-effective.
After she found the best price to sell it for, she went straight to get it a patent. This idea would be their big break, and this was the best time to show it, while they were new off the block.
After that, she found out all the new employees were settled, and that was where they had to take out yet another loan, to mass-produce these gadgets. Raw materials were essential, and the disadvantage of a flagship line was high initial cost, but the advantage was long-term profit.
As soon as these things were displayed in the mall, they received recognition worldwide, and that was the second time Serena's name was hosted internationally in a good light, the business sales made up for their loss,
and in just a few hours they were confident in paying their loan and stabilizing when Serena went for another big expenditure, they had two shops in Ravensville, and she went ahead to purchase another one in the border towns, that cost much more than the ones in Ravensville, due to the living cost and all. And then they were in debt again, this time, without so much confidence in getting out of it with time.
After her abrupt stop at work, in the dark of the night she made her way home, this time wearing black and white, which also fit her exceptionally, though not so seamlessly, but the lack of rhythm and unity made it awe-inspiring.
While Serena was tiredly walking home, after a stressful day at work, looking like a boss in her prime, abruptly making a name for herself in the tech industry, making waves, becoming successful two years younger than people usually went to college, her twin was somewhere in the woods.

Seraphina, who was back in the cave finally got a grip at herself, and made an internal decision to go back home, then on her way to the house, she tripped on a twig, and of all the traps she could fall for, she was literally fell into a hole, that felt bottomless, she remained falling for a while, bracing herself for bone crushing impact.
But when she opened her eyes, she was on a bed, in the most romantic setting she had ever seen. The underground bedroom was candlelit and kept warm with a fire; the walls were neatly carved, and it was obvious this whole setup was staged by Vincent.
"Vincent, I know it's you, just come out already, I only have too much patience" Then, in his signature look, he came out, but this time with a rose in his lips and he removed it, then gently placed it in her hair as he said,
"My love, I knew you would always find a way back to me"
"I demand the antidote to your love potion; love is not forced"
"Well, lust, can, be, ignited, you know I could go all, night, long" spacing through some words giving his entire make up more allure,
"I won't repeat myself and if you think I'm attracted to this, you should see some of the things I've done in my life, I need to get out of here now, that is an order, and don't slack"
"No patience I see" then he inched closer and started to initiate skin ship, at first with light pecks, then deep hard kisses, and bold smacks, Seraphina found herself, enjoying it for a minute, but then shouted.
"Stop"
"Why are you resisting it, we both know you want to"
"Because, unlike you some people have self-control" then she screamed, and gusts of fire escaped her mouth.
"You want to take the offensive, you know I went against your dad, and we were at a standstill for a while, but for someone as weak as you it would be as easy as taking candy from a baby, and you know that, I'm only with you for sexual satisfaction, so I could just get someone else"
"I do not care about what you have to say, I'm here because I want to be free from you forever" the last statement sending shockwaves."
"Well, I do not go into stupid investments like someone in the room, I am at the advantage here and I would not trade that for the likes of you, so weak, so pitiful"
Then her eyes turned, red, blood red, instead of the regular luminous shade, her hair so red it looked dark, her eyes bloodshot and her skin turning bright red, and not like the runes usually on her skin his time it seemed as though her whole skin tone was different.
She began to release a mass amount of pressure towards those in the room, and even Vincent was a bit scared, the wind gathered around her feet, then the air in the cave became flames, that literally melded with Seraphina's appearance seamlessly.
Then the earth walls began to crack, scatter and in the core of it all, in a voice that had pitch so much so one could not hear actual words, said
"I want the cure, now!"
"And what if I do not give it to you" Vincent beckoned, knowing an outburst of power like so could only be one thing an evolution, after garnering enough power to evolve, she would fall into great pain as her body breaks down and reforms and that would be the best time to kill her, and eat her corpse to give him the strength she garnered. But life did not always go as planned Seraphina wickedly smiled, and chanted.
"Then I guess both of us will die" The walls of the cave shattered on themselves, the flames heating the earth till it turned to larva, and that rained upon both of them a them wickedly smiling Seraphina continued.
"I'd rather die, than be forever bound to you regardless of any conditions put in place by anyone, and if I cannot be cured from this lust, I'll be laughing at you down from the depths of hell"

Back in the city, Serena felt an unbearable pain in her gut, and just knew something serious had happened to her sister, her insight had grown tremendously and she was completely certain of that fact, but alas, she remained at a loss for what to do, it all seemed, too confusing.
