Ivy's POV
The whirlwind of university life had consumed my days and nights. Between attending classes, keeping up with training, and maintaining regular calls with everyone back home, I barely had time to breathe. Most evenings consisted of rushing through homework, grabbing something quick to eat, and collapsing into bed. Eric and I had settled into a routine of weekly calls, usually after my classes, where we discussed the ongoing situations within the various packs.
The news he shared was increasingly troubling. Pack attacks were becoming more frequent, with seemingly no clear motive behind them. My father's pack, however, appeared to be the primary target. This particular Friday, my phone lit up with Nancy's name.
"Hey there! How's life with your mate treating you?" I asked, genuinely happy to hear from her.
"It's been incredible. Connor has been everything I could ask for," she replied, her voice warm with affection.
