Johnny walks with Childeric the Merovingian and they're still talking.
Merovingian: I'm looking for my family's sacred relic, "the holy ampoule of Clovis." It will allow us to light our way without those monsters attacking us and return home.
Johnny: And did we find this damn ampoule?
Merovingian: When I was transported here, the black mage was in a cave over there... follow me!!
Johnny looks at him, wary of him; he knows this guy isn't clear or trustworthy. Wang and Akimo don't really know what to do in the meantime.
Kakao-Paok: I've been waiting forever to meet one of my colleagues because most of them automatically pass to the other side thanks to Karma and its laws. This damn deity in charge of regulating all that doesn't even leave me a crumb, but here you are, right here, right now! What am I going to do with you? Yes, I know how to torture you for eternity.
Wang and the others are surrounded, pinned down, but Wang decides to try something.
Wang: No choice! We must risk everything.
He summons the magical scroll of the sacred Tao.
Wang: By the powers bestowed upon me, I conjure and seal you...!
PAOK: Where are you planning to send the Taoist? I'm already there!
Wang stops and realizes he can neither conjure him (eliminate him) nor send him back to the lower astral plane because they're already there. The mist becomes thicker all around. PAOK speaks demonic incantations, then points his staff in Wang's direction. Black lightning appears and heads towards them. He is stopped by an equally black mist and sent flying back. It's Billy who has awakened, levitating with white markings on his face. African patterns appear all over his body, and he then speaks with PAOK in a demonic language that only the two of them understand.
Billy: You're going to let my friends go, or I'll have to eliminate you.
PAOK: You speak our language, so go ahead and see.
Billy: As you wish.
Suddenly, another Billy appears next to PAOK, who takes a punch filled with black lightning that sends him flying quite far. We hear PAOK screaming in pain.
Oooouuuuaaahhhhhhhrr!!!!!
Wang is amazed, fascinated, and also disgusted because he's the one who always goes to Billy's aid. Billy looks at him and says,
Billy: You've always been there for me, so this time it's my turn to sacrifice myself for you!!!
Then he flies towards PAOK, who has collapsed against some rocks.
Huan: It's time to leave.
Wang: First, let's get rid of these vermin!
Wang draws Chinese character patterns on the palm of his hand.
Wang: MAY THE FORCE OF THE SUPREME TAO COME TO ME'S HELP!!
Projectiles come out of his hands like fireballs. Huan pulls out his long, large chain containing a blade and then cuts through the creatures around them. Elva is protected by the others. Richards shoots him with his pistol. Akimo concentrates and then says, "Akimo: Follow me, there's a cave over there that can help us get home!"
Billy continues the fight against PAOK, but the outcome is uncertain because, not having mastered his powers, PAOK gains the upper hand very easily by transforming into a kind of monster with wings, throwing Billy here and there. But Billy continues to occupy him to allow the others to escape. Billy splits into dozens, then each of the Billys pulls chains out of their chests, which wrap around PAOK, who remains motionless.
Huan: Taking advantage of the chaos to flee.
Elva: And Billy?
No one reacts, Wang lowers his head, angry but forced to accept reality.
Akimo: making sure his sacrifice wasn't in vain
He summons several horses that head towards the cave in question. Billy, seeing this, smiles, and for a split second, PAOK breaks free and violently hits Billy in the head, who immediately faints, and the African motifs disappear.
In the cave, Wang and the others see Johnny and Childeric holding Clovis's holy ampoule.
Wang: Johnny, where have you been all this time?
Johnny: We've been separated, and you're only just noticing it now.
Johnny looks at everyone then asks, "Where is Billy?" (No one reacts, and Elva lets a few tears flow.)
Huan: Who is he?
Childeric: Childeric the Merovingian, but we'll introduce ourselves afterward. For now, it's urgent! Huan_: Get us out of here!!!
The Merovingian chants, then a light appears, but Wang stares firmly at the horizon toward Billy, tears in his eyes. They are then teleported to the main living room at Wang's.
Elva comes to console Wang, who can't believe it.
Wang_: It was up to me to protect him.
Huan_: You did your best.
Johnny is disgusted.
_ Instead of crying like a wimp,
Wang, listening to this, grabs Johnny, wanting to hit him.
Johnny_: You're pathetic. You couldn't do anything there, and you want to take it out on me!
Wang collapses upon hearing these words.
Johnny_: Get stronger, learn new techniques, then you can go back and save him.
Elva_: I don't think he survived or that PAOK would have let him go.
Johnny_: Think for two seconds. Billy has the power of ten higher-ranked drifters, and you think he'll want to get rid of them? No! I don't think so. Either he'll want to make him one of their own or try to take those powers for himself. What do you think, Wang?
Suddenly, a group of men appear, dressed in black. They're the Chinese mafia, the triads.
Their leader: I salute you, young layman, we have orders to seize Wang.
Huan: And why is that? (he intervenes, ready to fight).
The leader: I received orders to either eliminate him or bring him back, but since you managed to escape from hell, I have no choice but to take him with me. I didn't think I'd see you again after a week.
Elva: It felt like only a few hours.
Leader: My dear, time doesn't pass here like it does in the lower astral plane.
Wang gets up of his own accord.
Do as you please.
Everyone can't believe it.
Wang_: Elva, you'll run the shop for me. I trust you, and Johnny is sorry I didn't keep my promise.
Then they leave with him. Wang gets into their vehicle and they leave .
