Chapter Ninety-six
Shindou was leaning on a piller a day before the fight. As Yoten walked back up to him.
Shindou: "So has Aito came back to us?"
Shindou asked Yoten.
Yoten: "Yeah. But you aren't gonna beat him."
Yoten said as Shindou scoffed.
Shindou: "Say that again?"
Shindou said standing in guard hands down.
Yoten: "Don't even try. You know I'd have you beat within three of you're wide swings you call punches."
Yoten said also placing his feet in guard.
The two stare down for a bit.
Shindou: "I'd have you out before you could throw a counter at me. 'Counter princess'."
Shindou as stepped closer.
Yoten: "Stop acting like a fool. You're press conference is in a couple hours."
Yoten said giving him one last look before walking away.
Shindou: "Tsk. Not like I wanted to fight anyway."
Shindou said walking away.
Later before the press conference.
Coach Fumio: "Aito they are gonna ask about your body change. If they do... just say sparring and natural growth. After all you don't look 17 anymore."
Coach Fumio laughed but Aito was serious.
Aito: "Yes coach."
Aito said as he breathed calmly.
Aito: "(I wish everyone was here to see me fight him. Frig.)"
Aito walks to the door.
Aito: "I'll be back in ten. I just wanna go find a friend."
Aito said as Coach Fumio nodded.
Coach Fumio: "You got ten minutes. Make sure you're not late to the press conference."
Coach Fumio said as he let Aito go.
Aito walks away and starts walking down the hall.
Aito: "Lulu. Any updates on the members?"
Aito asked through their aura link.
Lulu: "No luck Master Aito. But I can feel a strong aura near you master Aito. Please be careful."
Lulu said back as the link went quiet.
William was standing from down the hall his eyes set on Aito.
Aito: "(William? What is he doing?)"
Aito stood and watched as William stood wearing a White coat.
Aito: "(That bas-)"
Aito was cut off by Lulu.
Lulu: "Master Aito! Calm yourself please. Don't do anything irascible! People are around!"
Lulu begged Aito as his transformation was about to happen.
Then as a student passes Aito, William appeared behind Aito. William placed a hand on Aito's back.
William: "Something wrong Aito? You seem sickly Anrgy."
William said as he patted Aito's back.
Aito: "..."
Aito stands stiffly.
William: "It would be a shame if something just so happened to destroy this hallway and kill all the students here..."
William said as he stepped back from Aito.
Aito turned to look over his shoulder.
William: "Either you join us or I'll do it."
William said with a fake smile.
Lulu: "Master Aito ignore him! Retreat Master Aito!"
Lulu said over their aura link.
Aito: "Why did you attack Equinox?"
Aito asked as William's smile falters a bit.
William: "Hmm? I didn't do that. I was gonna but I had more important things-"
Aito grabs William in a tight body lock and teleports into the sky high above the school.
William: "You shouldn't do this Aito."
William said stuck in the body lock.
Lulu tried to talk to Aito but the link was muffled.
William: "Let go of me and land. I know your a Demon."
William said as Aito's grip loosened a bit.
William: "Good."
William said lands onto the ground softly as Aito spreads his wings and lands.
William: "I won't attack the school. After all I said I wouldn't if you let go."
William said putting his hands in his pockets.
William: "You have a fight tonight. Win or lose, I'll come back to add you to the White coats."
William said sighing.
Aito: "Tell me the name of the organization!"
Aito demanded.
William: "Can't. After all we don't want you to track us easier."
William said shrugging.
William: "How about we meet in the ring first. Climb to B rank. I'll fight you then. Deal?"
William said as Aito nodded.
Aito: "Under the rules of the ring."
Aito said as William grinned a bit. An ugly grin.
William: "Good. Let's try not to fight again before that."
William said turning.
William: "(His grip. Was... crushing. He's this strong and he's not even fully connected with Aamon.)"
William thought as he walked away.
Lulu: "Master Aito, are you okay?"
Lulu said standing near him.
Aito: "Lulu? Why did you come? You could've gotten hurt."
Aito said as she chucked.
Lulu: "No. I wasn't gonna jump in. Though didn't you have a press conference in a couple minutes?"
Lulu asked.
Aito: "You're right. I'm gonna be late."
Aito said as Lulu touched his back and teleported them outside the press conference Room.
Lulu: "twenty minutes late. But it's okay. Master Aito I'll sit in the crowd and I'll watch for anymore White coats."
Lulu said as Aito nodded.
Aito: "alright."
Aito said walking a different path then Lulu.
