Chapter Ninety-seven
Aito stands back stage as everyone else is sitting on stage.
Aito: "Whoa that's alot of people."
Aito said to himself as the crowd was huge attending the Rookie Of The Year press conference.
Aito took a deep breath and walked onto stage.
Press: "Look there's Aito!"
They start taking even more pictures as Aito sits down beside Coach Fumio.
Coach Fumio: "Twenty minutes late."
He whispers to Aito.
Nazuko stands between them all.
Nazuko: "Welcome everybody. Today we has our Rookie of the year finals. Aito Takeshi vs Shindou Shinigami. If you have any questions please wait you're turn and stand in a line if you could."
Nazuko said as he put the mic down.
Press: "A question for Aito."
Nazuko nods.
Nazuko: "Go ahead."
He said.
Press: "Everyone is talking about how you haven't trained at all for this fight and you've been taking a vacation is this true?"
The press asked.
Aito: "No. I was gone but not without training-"
Shindou cuts him off.
Shindou: "You've been soaking up sun on the Bahamas while I've been knocking people out in sparring? I think I'm gonna knock our head off too."
Shindou said putting the mic down.
Aito: "I have been training. Just more broader training."
Aito said as Shindou laughed.
Shindou: "What have you been training? How to reach your hand into a chip bag and pull it out?"
Shindou laughed.
Aito: "What have you been doing? Huh? Knocking sparring partners out? I bet you barely have any technique."
Aito said back.
Shindou: "My strength beats your skill any day!"
Shindou said back as Aito nodded.
Aito: "No it wouldn't. I'm gonna be zipping in and out of Shindou's range this whole fight until he gets knocked out."
Aito said as they seemed to calm down.
Shindou: "Your still pathetic."
Shindou said as Aito laughed.
Aito: "And your just a slugger with no brain."
Aito said making Shindou mad.
Lulu sat in the stands but could see their Fused Demon hovering over them that's how strong the aura they're out putting is.
Shindou: "Frig you!"
Shinodu said standing and throwing the sponsor items on the table at Aito.
Lulu makes an invisible bubble barrier around Aito and Coach Fumio.
Lulu: "I got you guys."
Lulu said to Aito through their link.
Aito: "Thanks Lulu."
Aito said as Coach Fumio didn't seem to notice the barrier.
Security steps in between them and Shindou sits back down.
Nazuko: "Next question?"
Nazuko asked as they picked up the items and moved them away. Aito and Coach Fumio also sits as Lulu pops the bubble.
Press: "Question for Aito. A while ago we seen you have some sort of tattoo on your stomach. Now you have scars. Is this a permanent new look?"
The press asked.
Aito: "My scars are light and might fade over time but the tattoo is getting removed slowly over time."
Aito said as Coach Fumio smiles at Aito.
Press: "Question for Aito. Are you going to show a master class like your teammate Lucas Woods did aswell? And will you fight him for the title after you win Rookie of the year since you'll have the immediate title Shot?"
The press asked Aito.
Aito: "I don't know. We'll have to see. I got eight rounds with him and he has eight rounds with me. And no. I will not be fighting Lucas."
Aito said as shindou laughed.
Shindou: "I think you mean I have eight minutes with you."
Shindou said.
Press: "Question for Shindou. We see how hard you hit. It's so loud now it's audible. How many knock downs do you expect to get on Aito?"
The press asked.
Shindou: "My power is permanent. I think I'll get one solid knock out punch that'll put Aito on the ground."
Shindou said as Aito just had to grin.
Aito: "You swing like a windmill your not hitting an elite in fighter like me. You'll be a bit durable but you swing to wide and arc punches."
Aito laughed as Shindou stood back up again.
Shindou: "Just wait."
Shindou said before they moved onto the next part which is the weigh ins.
Aito walked out first and stepped on the scale.
Weighter: "130."
Aito steps off.
Shindou steps on.
Weighter: "130."
Shindou flexed before stepping off.
Then two then did a stare down with Nazuko hand between them.
Shindou: "I'm gonna frig you up Aamon."
Shindou said as Aito's eyes shifted.
Aito turned and got into Shindou's face.
Aito: "Don't say Aamon."
Aito said as Shindou said Aamon again.
Shindou: "I'm done watching Aamon get further then me. Now it's time for me, Marchosias to surpass your Aamon. Don't think I'll be sidelined for another War."
Aamon: "This will be a One sided war."
Aamon said to Marchosias.
Marchosias: "It'll be a war of these two humans until they use their judgements to let us take control."
Marchosias said laughing evilly as Aamon also laughed.
