Keifer's POV
We reached the base soon. We all went inside. Jay went straight to her office with her team and godfather. We went to the hall to Angelo and the others.
Keifer: Angelo, I need to talk to u. Aries, Percy u guys as well.
Angelo: sure.
We went to the far corner of the hall while section e kept the others busy to give us time to talk.
Angelo: what is it?
I explained everything that happened with yuri and jay in school and how we have time till after graduation to prepare and that Jay is planning something without telling us.
Keifer: I just thought a three should know about this. Jay isn't telling anyone about her plan other than her trusted inner circle. I think we can get through to her if we try. Maybe she will tell us her plan and let us help.
Percy: we can't just betray her trust like that. If she doesn't want to tell us right now then maybe we should wait until she is ready.
Aries: for once I agree with Percy. I don't want to force Jay to do something she doesn't want to. We promised her that, remember.
Keifer: ik but what if she is planning something that gets her hurt in the process. What do u think Angelo.
Angelo: all of ur points r valid. And I think the more we try to push her, the more she will try to hide like always. We can try to ask her but if she doesn't want to tell us then we have to respect her desicions.
Keifer: r u really doing this. Don't forget u were the one to take her to a doctor to remember her past when she clearly didn't want to. Now u want to respect her desicions.
Angelo: that was different back then. And I don't want her to force her again. I won't do it if she doesn't want to. She's not a minor anymore, she can make her own desicions if she wants to and if u try to force her then I am telling u Watson, that will be us last mistake!
Keifer: fine. We'll wait for her to tell but if she goes too deep into this mess and gets hurt then I'm pulling her out even if she doesn't want to.
JAY's POV
Once inside my office, I told the dream team and godfather everything about what happened And what he said.
Godfather: so he is giving us time and Intel and helping us by warning us beforehand but still won't back down or tell the whole truth.
Mason: why is he still doing this. Does he have a death wish or something.
Alex: he's trying to play the hero and the villian. What's up with this guy.
Jay: I don't fully understand myself what's happening but one thing is clear to me.
Aya: and what's that?
Jay: that whether we like it or not, we r going to war against Kaizer, against yuri, and whoever else comes between us. Yuri already told us that we have till our graduation day to prepare. We r safe till then. But after that, the fight officially begins. We don't know who everyone we r fighting against, we don't know who their allies r.
Mateo: so what can we do now?
Jay: we update everyone about this new Intel. Get everyone ready and prepared for battle. We gather as much new and old allies, gangs, powerful people as much as we can. Yuri said that we will need all the support we can get.
Godfather: so one thing is clear. We r walking into possibly a global war here and we don't know what type of or how many people we r fighting against.
Jay: exactly. Well, at least not yet. We have some scouts out there in Japan and London who might be able to give us some names. Till then we prepare like we have never before. Get every powerful person and gang whether it's small or big from all over the phillipines and other countries as much as we can. We have been given our deadline and we have our work cut out for us. We also need to make sure that none of my loved ones and their family gets hurt in the process. Yuri already warned us about it. He might act on it if he wants us to show even a hint of weakness.
Godfather: so how many days do we have till ur graduation?
Jay: the results will be announced in five days, after that two days from the result get release we will have our prom and then one day after that we will have our graduation ceremony. So 9 days before graduation. I think we will see yuri there too so we have to stay alert at all times.
Mason: yes Jay, I'll update everyone and give them your instructions.
Mateo: I'll give u a list of all the gangs and powerful people in the area.
Alex: and I'll add extra security and tighten it around u, ur family and friends. Ur family doesn't go outside as we have everything they need here but u and ur friends have to go out so u all will need heavy security and I'll add some around their families as well just in case.
Jay: thank u all for doing this. And make sure to have some security at all the transportation areas in case Kaizer tries to show up or Yuri leaves again. And make sure to get a message to them for a meet up like last time if they come again but not before informing and confirming about it from me. I don't want anyone of my loved ones to get hurt. I want to try and end this before it starts.
Aya: sure Jay, I'll go do that.
They all left for with their tasks leaving only me and godfather at the office.
Godfather: ngl u r getting pretty good at this Jay.
Jay: I'm only good at this bcz of your guidance and training.
Godfather: don't give me all the credit. U did good work too. I'm sure sheen, Izzy and Penny would be so proud of u. Now I see why penny and my instincts wanted u to take my place. U have that spark in u to become a leader. The same one i noticed when i first saw u. All these years and it still hasn't changed, just.....grew.
Jay: I'm glad u feel that way.
Godfather: u know after your graduation, u will officially get hold of all of the league's legal and illegal businesses. And u have also earned the right to the mark of the head.
Jay: u sure I'm ready for that.
Godfather: I'm more than sure u r. Ur dream team has been waiting for this moment for a long time. Did u know they didn't get their mark of the inner circle just bcz they wanted to get it with u.
Jay: I knew they would do that. They were always like that.
We shared a soft chuckle.
Jay: hey godfather, can I add some people into the inner circle and the league.
Godfather: well ofc u can Jay. After all u r the leader now. No need to ask for permission from me. Tell me who is it that u want to add.
Jay: I want Keifer and kuya in the inner circle. I don't want to hide things from them anymore. I will ask them about it later, after everything's dealt with. And as for the new comers, I was thinking if any of section e guys or my other kuyas want to join, they can, I'm not really sure, u know what this side of the world does to people better than anyone but if they ask me about it then I will most probably say yes. Just a heads up for u.
Godfather: sure Jay, whatever u want. Now let's go out, u haven't had lunch yet and ur friends and family might be waiting for u. And don't worry about the fight, the others have it under control for now.
We went to hall after that. Everyone was busy eating and stop when they saw me.
Keifer must have told my kuyas about what happened.
I ignored them and ate my food in silence.
After that I went to my room, got changed and wanted to rest but then I heard a knock on the door.
I opened the door and Keifer was standing, face serious, hands in the pocket.
Keifer: can we talk about ur plan.
Jay: not right now Keifer. I will tell u later. It's safe if u don't know right now. Besides I want to rest right now.
Keifer: sure Jay, whatever u want. I don't want to force u. Btw can I rest with u as well. U can't use Angelo as an excuse, u already know he gave me permission.
Jay: fine, whatever.
He grinned and came inside.
We laid down on the bed, he hugged me from behind and we went to sleep quickly.
