JAY's POV
Soon we reached my lola's house in the province.
We all came out of our cars and were greeted by Lola and tita Lara.
We said our greeting and hugged each other and went inside the house.
Some of my men remained outside, circling th perimeter. Only the dream team and my bodyguards came in with me, kuya and Aries.
We settled down in the living room and had some refreshments.
Lola: Jay, who r these people.
Kuya: they r her friends Lola.
Jay: yeah, they r here for a little friend gathering. So they came with us and if it's ok can they stay here for a while, they don't have any other place to stay.
Tita lara: collecting strays now r we.😒
Lola: LARA, stop acting like that infront of guests. Ah, ofc they can stay here Jay we have plenty of rooms.
Jay: thank u Lola. Oh and this is mason, Mateo, Aya, Alex, James and Jordan.
I said pointing at them one by one.

Lola: nice to meet u too. U all must be tired. U should go pick a room and rest for a while.
Jay: sure Lola. I'll show them around.
Kuya: don't forget Jay, we have to start our work.
Jay: yeah kuya, we can do it this evening And then tomorrow I can go to 'the gathering'.
Kuya: sure, what time is it.
Mateo: ah, it's tomorrow at 6 pm.
Kuya: ok, u can attend some meetings before that.
I nodded and we started move upstairs.
Lola: oh Jay, what about the men outside that came with u.
We all stopped and looked at each other.
Kuya: ah Lola, they will be staying outside only. Actually they r some bodyguards. After all the kidnappings, we just couldn't take the risk.
Lola: oh, ok then.
We went upstairs. Kuya and Aries went to there rooms. Me, Mason, Aya, Alex, Mateo, James and Jordan went to my room first.
Jay: so, how many meetings do we have to attend and with how many people.
Mateo: according to the list I have made and the people who agreed to meet us, we have to meet with 4 local gangs and 5 wealthy people. We have arranged only 1 meeting tomorrow, with the leader of the local gangs in the area. If he says yes, then we will have the support of the 4 gangs. He is also one of the wealthy people we have to meet.
Mason: they meeting will start at 6 pm sharp at the grand hotel, we have booked one of their rooms meant especially for business meetings.
Alex: we have to prepare for anything he might ask from us. We need to make sure he agrees and joins the league, but the price should be reasonable.
Jay: we will. Do we have any information about who this guy is?
Aya: no. He has kept his identity a secret, just like u. We couldn't find anything about this person. He has stayed hidden from the public eye for years. Only his most trusted people know about his identity.
Jay: ok then. It looks like we r going to have to deal with this the hard way then. U all should rest for now. There r 3 rooms near my room. 2 can share in one room each. Aye can stay with me.
Mateo: can I stay here too☹
Jay: u still haven't changed huh. Still the clingy bf. Well u will have to stay apart for a while. If Lola finds out u two r in one room together, who knows what might happen.
Mateo( sigh ): fine😔
We chuckled at his reaction and Aya blushed a bit.
They made there way to there rooms. Me and Aya unpacked while talking for a bit and changed into comfy clothes.

After that I hugged my snorlax which I saw after so long bcz Keifer doesn't like me sharing cuddles and hugs with someone else, even with a stuffed Pokemon.
Then me and Aya took a nap.
We woke up in the evening, thanks to kuya's loud shouting from downstairs.
It was already 5:30. I freshened up and went downstairs. They others came down as well.
Kuya: finally. U take too long Jay.
Jay: that's bcz I was tired and sleeping kuya.
Kuya: whatever. Come in the dining room, Aries is already waiting there.
Jay: where is Lola and tita Lara?
Kuya: they went out for shopping for a while. They'll be back around 10 pm, so u can discuss ur work here if u want to but after attending a meeting with the board and the investors at 7 pm at fer Corp.
Jay: ok kuya. U guys can hang out in the living room and watch some tv for a while. I'll be back after a while. If u need anything just call the maids.
Mason: ok Jay.
I followed kuya to the dining room where Aries was already waiting for us at the table, busy drinking water.
Aries: u r too slow Jay. U r like a sloth.
Jay: seriously, that's coming from u horoscope.
Kuya: stop it u two. I didn't bring u here to bicker like children. Now sit down quietly.
We obeyed and sat down.
He handed us both a thick envelope.
Kuya: here is your inheritance from the Fernandez side. It clearly states your shares, properties, stocks and much more. U both r the future of our company. But that doesn't mean that u both instantly become co-CEOs. U will go through training first and after u r done with ur college, u can join the company and then one day become the ceo.
Aries: this is... a lot.
Kuya: I'm not done yet.
He said and handed us another thick envelope.
Kuya: now this is ur inheritance from the mariano side. Mr. Mariano sees u as his son, aries so u have been given some part of the property as well. Jay, u have been given all of ur dad's shares, stocks and many other things that he owns. Percy was given some part of the mariano empire from his mother. He is currently working side by side ur dad. Once u r done with ur college and r absolutely sure to take over the company, u will become the ceo of the mariano empire.
Jay: but kuya won't aries and percy become the CEOs with me just like fer Corp.
Kuya: percy and ur dad wants u to take over the mariano empire. Percy is just substituting for u for the time being. U r from the true mariano bloodline and have the biggest part of the company so u r the next in line to take over. That is if u want to. Ik u already have to handle the league businesses. That's why we r not pressuring u. If u want to only then can u take over both the companies. Otherwise aries and percy can handle the business as well. Just think about it.
Aries: wow jay, future ceo of two big companies plus the league companies and basically a trillionaire at such a young. U already have billions of dollars from the league, the Marianos r no less than the watsons, braseltons and the hanamitchis and u have fernandez fortune as well. And don't forget that keifer, ur so called future husband is the heir of the watsons, who has hundreds of billions.
Jay: u r no less yourself. U got a fortune from fernandez and the mariano side as well.
Aries: yeah but still. And I can't believe that percy was so freaking rich all this time and still didn't pay for anything. I had to pay for everything u know.
Jay: r u seriously complaining about percy like a little kid.
Aries: I'm just saying, ok. From now on I'll make him pay for atleast his stuff if not mine.
Kuya: stop it u too. I have arranged a meeting with the board members and the investors at 7 pm. It's already 6:20 pm. Go get ready so that we can leave for fer corp.
Jay and aries: ok kuya.
Jay: ah kuya, is keifer going to be there as well. Ik he is one of the investors.
Kuya: u told him to stay at the base and u have already met him so no, he won't be there.
Jay: ok kuya.
Me and aries went to our rooms and got changed quickly. Then we came downstairs and saw the others in the living room with kuya.
I told them to stay here. Then me, aries, kuya, my personal bodyguards sat in one car and 4 more men in the other car and we drove towards the company.
