Keifer's POV
I woke up in the morning and the first thing I saw was Jay.
My hand was resting on her back and she was curled up in my chest.
For a while I just looked at her.
Her cheeks still a little stained with tears, nose red, eyes looking a little swell. Even then she so looked peaceful and pretty.
My mind recalled the memories from last night.
Keifer( in his mind ): She is so brave. She suffered so much pain, broke down from time to time, suffered so much loss but still found the courage to keep going, to keep smiling even if she was completely shattered from the inside.
A tear slipped from my eye. I kissed her on the forehead. Then hugged her more tightly.
But I accidently pressed her healing gun shot wound and she woke up with a little scream.
Keifer: sorry. I didn't mean to wake u up. I just hugged u but pressed your wound by mistake.
Jay: It's ok. I'm ok now. Just don't hug too tightly for now. It's still not completely healed.
Keifer: I will Jay. Go back to sleep now, it's still early. It's only 7 am right now.
Jay: it's ok, I'm awake now. Besides, I have to check on the gang for any updates. We have to study too. And I'm hungry.
Keifer: then let's go freshen up and eat breakfast.
Jay: ok.
JAY's POV
We brushed our teeth and went to the hall for breakfast.
Aries, kuya, Mason, Aya, Mateo and alex were already there, eating peacefully.
"Good morning Jay. Good morning keifer"
Jayfer: Good morning.
Jay: where r the others?
Aries: most of them r still sleeping.
Jay: ok.
Kuya: Jay, r u ok now. U know after last night.
Jay: I'm ok kuya.
I looked at the gang. They looked like they cried hard last night too.
Jay: how r u guys holding up now.
Aya: we're ok bestie. U know how it is to remember that. But we have almost completely healed from it.
I just nodded and ate my breakfast.
Soon the others came as well. And as usual, the chaos was unleashed early in the morning.
Section e started their usual fight over food and teased each other. While we just watched them and ate our breakfast while laughing at their behaviour.
I'm glad that they r not acting any differently after last night and just being normal and chaotic around me like always.
I finished my breakfast and went to take a shower. I wasn't in the mood to tease with them today and besides my wound was still hurting a bit and I didn't want anyone to know about it.
I went to the bathroom and looked at my wound in the mirror. It was still bandaged but it looks like I was bleeding a bit again.
I took my medicines to ease the pain but I can't change my bandage on my own and I can't Keifer about it or else he will be really worried and might take me to the hospital again.
I glanced outside my room and saw mason in the hallway.
Jay: hey mason, I need your help.
Mason: sure. What is it Jay.
Jay: I need u to change my bandage. I can't because of blood.
Mason: why don't u get your bf to do it.
Jay: bcz he'll get really worried and I don't want him to get worried and he might try to take me to the hospital again and it's not safe right now.
Mason: ok fine then.
We went into my room and closed the door. I took out the first aid kit and showed him the wound.
He carefully removed the bandage and cleaned my wound. I didn't look but I could feel the sting and pain.
Mason: ok I'm done. U should be careful, u opened up a stitch Jay.
Jay: ik ik. I will be. Thanks for the help mason.
Mason: always Jay. Anything for my little sis.
Jay( chuckling ): thank u kuya.
We were just talking for a while after that when keifer came into my room and saw us sitting on the bed, laughing together.
Oh no! He's making that dangerous, jealous face again while glaring at mason.
Keifer( shouting ): what r u doing here in jay's room.
Mason: woah relax bro. We were just talking. She needed my help with something.
Keifer: what help would she need from u.
Jay: Keifer calm down. U have nothing to be angry and jealous about. I told u he's a kuya to me and I'm like a little sister to him.
Keifer: he is still another guy Jay.
Jay( sigh ): mason can u give us a moment pls.
Mason: sure Jay, np.
He said and walked out of the room. Closing the door behind him.
Jay: calm down Keifer. Like he said, we were just talking.
Keifer: what help was he talking about Jay.
Jay: it's nothing, ok. Don't worry about it. Now go. I have to change my clothes.
Keifer: not unless u tell me what help he was talking about. And don't even think about losing to me Jay.
I took a deep breath. Pain still lingering in my wound.
I showed him my bandage.
Jay: THIS. This is the help he was talking about. A stitch must have opened up this morning and I was bleed a little. I didn't want u to worry about it. I saw him in the hallway and asked him to change the bandage for me bcz I can't look at the blood.
His eyes and face softened with realization.
Keifer: Oh. U should have just told me Jay. I didn't know that this would happen. I am sorry.
Jay: it's not ur fault Kiefer. I just didn't want u to worry. I knew u would overreact a bit and might tell the others or take me to the hospital.
Keifer: ofc I would. Us my everything Jay. I swore to take care of u. And we should definitely get it checked at the hospital.
Jay: no need. I already too my meds and mason took care of the wound. Besides we have a little clinic here. I just go there because I didn't want u to find out.
Keifer: u have a clinic too.
Jay: ofc. It's a mafia's base. We r ready for everything here. Anything u want, u can have here. I told u it's basically a 5 star hotel. Now go outside, I have to change.
Keifer( smirking): why? U can just change in front of me. I'm ur hubby after all.
Jay( flustered): don't be like that Keifer. Just go outside. I'll be out in a minute.
Keifer: ok ok fine. But next time just ask help for me ok.
He said and went outside. I locked the door and got changed and went outside.
We went to the hall again bcz we have to review for our exams.
We studied till lunch time, ate our food and went back to studying.
Then we had our dinner. After dinner we decided to watch a movie.
So me, aries, section e and the girls went to the movie room and watched a funny but romantic movie while eating our snacks.
All the couples were sitting together, sharing a blanket.
Me and Keifer sat in the last row at the very end, out of everyone's eyes, cuddling with each other. Rakki was sitting with ci-n who was acting like a baby. Aries and ella were sitting togther, holding hands. Mica and calix were leaning on each other while sitting together. grace was sitting with denzel. Kit and mayo were sitting next to each other. Even freya was sitting next to edrix who was blushing hard and Rory was teasing him.
I saw Percy watching freya and edrix. Looking a bit hurt. I still haven't told him about them.
And the other boys were busy with there chaos and teasing. Eventually we all fell asleep there.
