JAY's POV
The ride to the base was mostly filled with laughter, hugs and lots of talks with my papa and Keifer.
We reached without any disturbance on the way. My gang members, friends and family greeted us at the entrance of the base.
We reached the great hall.
A buffet was set up with some music for our arrival. Loads of pizza, pasta, rice, sushi, kikiam and much more was waiting for us.
Jay: sorry for the urgent shift in the living place. It was necessary to keep u out of danger.
David: it's ok Jay.
Edrix: yeah. This place is kinda cool.
Ci-n( excited ): it's so massive. I can't wait for a tour of this place. We have just seen our rooms and this hall. When will u give us a tour Jay.
Jay: later, ok. Right now let's just have some food. It's almost lunch time.
Section e ran towards the food before I could even blink.
We all sat at the long table at the corner of the hall and ate our food with zero silence.
Mom: Jay, how r u now. R u felling better.
Jay: yes mom much better.
Papa: don't exert yourself Jay. Take some rest and don't forget to study, I heard your finals r coming.
Jay: yes papa. I will.
Papa patted my head and went back to eating. I looked at mom only to find an irritated look on her face. I guess things haven't changed much between mom and dad.
Keiren: ate, me and kuya keigan missed u and kuya Keifer so much.
He said and hugged me.
Keigan: we really did. Hope u r fine now.
He said and hugged me too.
Jay: I am more than fine after seeing u two. I missed u so much. Hope u r settling in just fine.
Keigan: we r. This rooms here r just as big as the ones at home.
Jay: I'm glad that u r ok with this.
Then we went back to eating our food.
"Hey, can u tell us what exactly is going on here and how did u get shot. No one really said much about it", rakki said elbowing me.
Jay: later. Don't focus on that for now.
After lunch I decided to give them a tour of the place.
I showed them the gym, the shooting range, the boxing ring, the place where we hang out, watch tv, showed them the second and third floor, my office, the rooftop, the entire living quarters which they didn't get to explore completely, our bar, our kitchen and much more and ended the tour at the great hall again.
The look on their faces after the tour was priceless 💗
Ci-n: ik I said this place is massive but I didn't know it was 5 star hotel massive!
Percy: is this a real place or heaven.
Fercy: seriously, this place doesn't look like the secret main base for a gang.
I chuckled at their shocked faces.
Jay: this place isn't just a base. It's a home for everyone here. A place to escape reality. The original head built this place with the idea of pure luxury in mind. So yeah, u can say that it's a 5 star hotel.
They were still a little lost staring at the place.
Jay: so, what do u guys want to do now.
Ci-n: can we play hide and seek.
Jay: not here. It's dangerous.
Ci-n: why?
Jay: because it's a base basically full of trained assassins. Us will just get in trouble or see something u shouldn't.
Keiren: how about we watch a movie?
Kuya: not now. U guys have your finals comimg up, take this time to review. We also need to talk. Study up first and then we will talk after dinner.
Keiren: but we don't have our exams. What do we do then.
Kuya: those who don't have exams can watch a movie or something more quieter so we don't disturb the others.
Jay: no need. This place is soundproof, so they can watch and we can study with our disturbance. And besides, the most of the gang members r out following their task so we all r pretty much the only ones here.
Kuya: ok then. We r going to go watch a movie. U all have to study hard. Help each other if needed and sir and ma'am r also here so u can ask them also.
They said and left for the movie theatre room.
Jay: come on let's go before kuya gets angry.
Aries: where r we even going to study.
Jay: here in the great hall is good. No members r here.
Aries: ok.
Within minutes, everyone gathered around the long table with there books open, head down. Everyone was quiet, even section e.
They r probably obeying because of kuya😆
I sat between Keifer and Aries. They both helped me review and explained the questions to me.
Time flew by and soon it was dinner time.
Kuya and the others came back and section e instantly closed there books, ready to eat. Like always😏
We all ate in silence. Too mentally drained to talk much. Just some small talks here and there.
Kuya ( whispering ): can we talk about the league and your involvement in it after dinner.
Jay( whispering ): we can but not in front of everyone. Only a few r there who can know about this.
Kuya: who r those few.
Jay: mumma, papa, tita, keiren and keigan can't know about this. I think telling the others is fine. They should know about this. Either I tell them right now directly or they will find out sooner or later somehow. I trust them. They r like family to me and ofc some of u already r.
Kuya: fine. I agree with u. Telling the elders and the younger ones is not a good idea. Section e, sir, ma'am, the girls, Aries, Percy and me is enough. Ik they will keep the secrets safe with them and if they don't they will have me, the other and u to respond to.
I simply nodded.
After eating dinner, we sat at the centre of the hall. Some on couches and armchair and some on the floor. Surrounded by some blankets, pillows and snacks. Laughter filled the room for a while. Mason, Aya, Mateo and alex also joined us. Godfather also came back from his vacation in Hawaii after hearing about me.
After a while, kuya and me looked at each other and gave a slow nod as to silently say that it's time.
Kuya clapped his hands to grab everyones attention.
Kuya: alright now, it's getting late. Ma, tita, Mr.jaspher, Kieran and keigan u should go must be tired. U all should go rest. Me and the others still want to talk a bit more. U go ahead, we'll catch up with u later.
Tita instantly understood what kuya was trying to say.
Tita: yeah, we should go now. Let's go everyone.
Grace: let me put grazel to sleep in the room. I'll be back.
Tita: I can do that. I'll watch over her while u r here.
Grace: sure. Thank u tita.
We watched as they stood up and left the room.
David: what's going on. Why does this feel like a meeting.
Jay: it's not a meeting, technically.
Kuya: we r here because Jay wants to talk and clear things up about the situation.
They all turned to me. I nodded.
Jay: I want to clear your doubts. So ask what u want to ask about.
Rakki: ok. Then tell us what's going on here and how did u get shot.
Jay( sigh ): long story short, as u all must have known by now. I am the leader of the league now. And with it, I also became the owner of multi legal and some illegal businesses. I am basically a billionaire now. And the reason behind me getting shot is .... Kaizer and.... yuri.
Freya: What?
Jay: me and the gang went to confront Kaizer on my bday and yuri was also there. He tries to shoot at keifer but I got in the way and got shot instead.
Edrix: why would yuri do such a thing.
Jay: some of u already know that yuri has a hit list with me keifer's and some others name on it. Only me and Keifer r left now. After that he gets his mom and his status in the clan back.
We remained silent for a while.
Jay: any more questions?
Kuya: yeah. Tell us how u got connected with the league in the first place.
