Luna's POV
Luna's shadow magic shattered the crystal prison wall like glass.
"Mom!" she cried, catching Queen Celeste as her mother stumbled forward into freedom.
"Luna, my brave daughter," the Queen whispered, her voice weak but filled with love. "You came for us."
On the other side of the broken prison, Sunny was helping his father, King Apollo, who looked pale and tired after three years of magical captivity.
"Dad, are you okay?" Sunny asked, supporting his father's weight.
"I am now," King Apollo replied, squeezing his son's shoulder. "But we need to leave immediately. The Council will sense that their prison magic has been broken."
Luna looked around the crystal tower chamber where they'd found their parents. Despite their doubts about whether their love was real or manufactured, she and Sunny had decided they couldn't let their families suffer any longer. Real or not, they had to try to save the people they cared about.
